I would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away from these people! I was sent to them by my insurance company. The technician did a sketchy review of my car, pointed out issues that had nothing to do with the "accident" and gave me some BS reason for not putting the car on a lift when I clearly said my concern was with the undercarriage. This tech, Derek, told me to go and get an oil change because they would like my car and could inspect for damage. When I told my insurance company about the issues, they apparently called Derek and he LIED about our conversation. I will never use this company ever! read more

After waiting a time for someone to show up at the front desk...I explained it was a small repair...(damaged part replacement) and was told I needed an appointment..!? For an estimate..? Then he decidied he would "deem" to look at it and told me they did not do that sort of thing..! Suggested I go to a garage... Dent repair and paint job were good. Car however looks horrible on the drivers side as they replaced part of the molding so the molding in the front doesn't match the molding on the back. If it wasn't two pieces right right next to each other you might not notice, but this is very noticeable. read more

I had my car repaired there after an accident in Feb. 2018. They had to replace the front hood with a new one and side front panel & repainted. Was over $4,500. The day they painted it they moved it into their lot with severe weather moving in. Needless to say, it sustained hail damage all over the new hood and roof of my car, along with others in their lot. When I called them in the morning to see if it was ready, they explained what had happened, but said it was driveable and they assured me that they would repair the dents. After months of trying to contact them regarding fixing damage with no results, I finally sent them a letter. I did receive a call back and was told it was above his pay grade and he would have the manager call me back. We are going on almost 2 years now and still not resolved. read more

I was super nervous when I brought my car in as I didn't know what to expect and didn't want to get told a bunch of BS. Well to my surprise I was referred to this company and boy was I glad I was. When I first walked in I was greeted by a super sweet, helpful, positive lady named Mallory Alligor. She assured me that everything is going to be ok and that they will take care of me. I was involved in a hit and run accident. Derek, from Caliber Collision, called us to ask how I was and said he was working on our case. He was very concerned and very professional. He had to travel to Charleston to review our case with the insurance company. He called the next day and said he did an estimate on the damage to our vehicle and said what the initial cost was at that time. This was before he sent his findings to the insurance company. I took my car there to be fixed because my insurance copy set it up for me. I rear ended a car and they repaired it. It was $2000 over what they quoted and my car now makes a clicking noise when you start it. The shop told me it was because my car is a Ford and that's what they do and refused to fix it. I will never go there again and told my insurance company- USAA - the same. read more

We took our car in for repair to Caliber Collision 4920 Hwy 17 Bypass, Myrtle Beach, SC. We were told it would be ready in two weeks. It actually took three weeks and I had to call on several occasions just to get updates about the car. It may have taken longer if I was not calling frequently to ask how much longer this repair would take. I was told they were waiting on a fuse box to be shipped!!! Seriously??? This was definitely poor planning on their part. The front driver fender, front bumper and one headlight needed to be replaced. This should have been a simple fix and definitely not taken three weeks!!! I asked when i initially dropped off the car...."How much would it cost to detail the car once you finish the repair?" I was told they do that as a courtesy. I was told they would buff the entire car and clean and detail it. I picked up the car today and upon inspection I realized that no detailing at all was done to the car. Since it was raining, they parked it outside and assumed I wouldn't notice. The first thing I did was run my finger across the rim and my hand was black from the break pad dust. There was a ton of brake pad dust on the rims which proved the tires haven't been washed or seen the first bit of soap! The windows were not cleaned and the vacuum was mediocre at best. I think all that was actually done was a partial vacuum. There was still debris in the floorboards. The fender that was repaired was not lined up properly and the gap between the fender and drivers door was slightly out of alignment and very obvious. I opened the hood and there was white paint over spray all over the black engine parts and covers under the hood. They never even cleaned the buffing waxes and dirt around the edge of the hood on the underside / engine side of the hood. I asked the manager of my repair to come outside and I showed him the over spray on all the black plastic parts. He said, "we didn't do that." Really???? I asked him how he thought that white paint got inside the engine compartment! When you wet sand a car, you have water droplets with paint mixed in it. These little water droplets, dime sized, were all over several parts as well. The manager rubbed one with his finger and said it comes off. Yes it does and it should have been cleaned before I picked it up. However, the fine mist white speckled paint over spray all over MOST of the black plastic parts does not rub off with your finger. This was from not taping out and covering the engine compartment properly before painting. Basically I was given many false promises from the very beginning and the work was about as good as their word!!! I am fairly certain that I will never bring my car back to this location ever again. I will not recommend this location to any of my friends or family. I was very dissatisfied, to say the least, with the workmanship and condition the vehicle was left in after the repair! I wouldn't put a lot of trust in the things you are told by the managers when you drop off the car. The only credit I will give this location was the very nice receptionist lady at the front desk. She was always very polite. Good luck to anyone who chooses this location for their car repair work, I hope your experience was much better than mine! read more
