Front staff, estimator, and manager are friendly but that's their one and only star (I will give them that). After this is goes down hill to the point in which I can't believe the painter, quality personnel or even management would accept such poor quality work and even think it's acceptable to pass on such work to anyone. I attempted to have a tailgate replaced here and finally on the either 4th or 5th rejection of poor quality just threw in the towel as clearly they don't care or I would have had a quality product returned to me for a ~$3500 job of a new replacement tailgate. Multiple times I had to point out dents, dings, chips, runs in the clear coat, runs in the base coat, areas in which primer is still showing, orange-peel, and dirt or foreign particles embedded in the base coat, each time after I was told it's "ready" to go... The issues were never resolved and it's clear each time they only just tried to cover it up. I don't think they even attempted to PDR or glaze it for profile until I pointed all the dents out on round 3 I think (which still was never fully resolved). The quality of work is some of the worst I've ever seen and clearly no one on their quality side cared either. You would think at the 4/5th time one would look to make sure there is no runs in the paint as that is basic knowledge / quality for a paint job. They finally got what they want however, that of me out the door because they just can't do it and I got tired of them trying 100 times / paying out of pocket for a rental. read more

I've been to a previous caliber collision(not this location) and they were Amazing. this one however, is not good at all! they took waaayy longer to fix my car, kept pushing the dates back and having me to continuously extend my rental for a fee and eventually max out my rental days. when I dropped off my car for fixing the must didn't do a full inspection and my under cage on my car came off during the accident. I told insurance company but I guess they didn't tell them. then I called personally to let them know about it and to inform them it was in my trunk-it was still in my truck when I got the car back. the under cage was never fixed or replaced and when I told them about it the tried to sucker me into not reporting to my insurance that they didn't fix it, but instead gave me new rims-that I didn't ask for or report to try to replace & that was on there part as a "favor" I dint ask for. then they told me they would order one out their pocket cause it was inexpensive but when they supposedly did it was on back order for a month. I gave them a month and a half. they never called back and when I called they said they would check to see if it's in and call back, they never did !!! this is by far the worst caliber collision I've been too so I'd advise going to the LIBERTY LAKES LOCATION they really take care of you there! read more

I came in for an estimate for my jeep. The lady at the desk on Monday 9/28 told me she would grab someone to help me. After speaking to me, she had a phone call, and after ending the call she forgot about assisting me when her manager and associate walked by. Seemed like a nice place for collision since I do receive my auto care at the Caliber Collision near my apartment. She just didn't seem to have urgency in assisting me or trying to ask them if they could take a quick look. She told me just submit my request online since they "didn't walk by her desk again". If you have a higher end car Mercedes, BMW, Etc. STAY AWAY from this shop. I have a Mercedes AMG63 that was damaged from hitting a spare tire that fell off a semi on the highway. They had the car for over a month (the 1st time) and we we got it back there were several problems. Some were new issues unrelated to the accident. Fitment issues, grease hand prints on the headliner and the leather interior. And the part that they painted was horrible. It had orange peel, dirt & hair in the paint as if they painted it outside. We took it back and they tried to fix much of what they messed up. We got it back the 2nd time and it was better but still not acceptable. So we took it back a 3rd time. Again slightly better but still not acceptable they couldn't even get the front bumper assembly to line up. They had the car for over 2 months at this point They admired they didn't have much experience working on higher end Cars and had to bring in an expert to help them figure out how to get to the sunroof. Luckily our insurance recommended we take it to another shop so we took it to Auto Nation attached to the Mercedes dealership. They were horrified by they way Caliber Collision butchered our car. It was much worse than we thought. They could figure out the complicated Mercedes brackets and clips so they just used sheet metal screws and rigged almost all the repairs. They couldn't believe the unprofessional paint job that they equates to a front yard paint job. All and all they had the car for almost 3 more months fixing everything that Caliber screws up and they had the Insurance and caliber big wigs come by to see the level of incompetence that was displayed. We finally got our car back after almost 6 months of being worked on (between the 2 shops) and it looks like it did before the accident. Thanks to Auto Nation. So don't be fooled by the slick talking sales team. They are 100% incompetent! And even though they might rig it to look ok, count on that rigging job to fall apart. After seeing 1st hand their inability to paint I wouldn't trust them to paint any car! And if you have a higher end expensive car RUN from this shop they will screw things up you won't know about for months or years down the road. Plus the time, money, and huge inconvenience of having to go back and have all their screw ups fixed is totally not worth it. Trust me the warranty doesn't mean jack because they are the ones to do the warranty work think about it. If you hire an electrician to put a switch in and he doesn't know what he is doing and it catches fire. Your not going to have him come and rewire your house if and when you rebuild it. So lesson don't let Caliber touch your car. PERIOD! Update..... After posting this review they had a "Bot" respond with what is supposed to appear like a sincere, concerned response, but it is the same auto responder used throughout yelp reviews for unfavorable honest reviews. Two things bother me about this. 1. They can't even figure out how to use the canned autofill on the Yelp management software to put the shops number & contact name. Which is a perfect reflection of the incompetence they have company wide. 2. What makes them think that after having my car over 2,000 work hours (8 hours a day) and them damaging more than the accident that they could possibly make it right? It is laughable! I gave them 3 chances to fix their mistakes but it was simply beyond their ability. Heck even in baseball 3 strikes & you are out. Their inability to create their own response further shows they care more about themselves than their customers. This is a huge RED FLAG for anyone considering taking your car here. There are too many other options to choose from, of competent, knowledgeable, quality shops that actually care about their customers and take pride in the work they do. read more

I'm not a fan of car repair shops, but places like this Caliber Collision deserve 10 stars! First off, Ashley O's review is on point--you will be treated with exceptional professionalism, hospitality, and care here! Before I even stepped a foot into the establishment (which states it is listed in Kingwood, but is listed in the city of Humble according to Caliber Collision's website), I received the welcome invitation to bring my car in anytime before 12 or after 2:30 to see if my previous body work at another Caliber Collision needed to be redone. I couldn't get a ride back to my residence the Friday I called about the situation, so I waited until Monday morning to get my car looked at. Monday morning I arrived and entered a brightly light waiting room with complimentary water and coffee, which was offered to my mother and I twice :D. Besides that, the seating area is ample and quite comfortable with some magazines of various varieties for one's reading pleasure. A nice place to wait compared to some dark and dismissal looking car shops I've sat in for sure! From my call Friday, the attendant, Priscilla, remembered my name and took my paperwork to her manager, Jimmy, who came out personally and greeted me concerning my issue which was my front bumper. He took the time to look at the vehicle and checked under the hood (because I felt that the vehicle wasn't accelerating as it did before the incident that caused the bumper to separate from the vehicle) and explained some features of my vehicle as he inspected the damage. He reassured me that the bumper would be a simple fix and that he didn't think I sustained any serious mechanical issues, but would check those as well. Five minutes later, Jimmy had my car parked and ready to go. The bumper was intact and per his suggestion concerning the acceleration, I drove the vehicle around and put it on the freeway. My car is accelerating faster than I ever had tried to go once I put in on the highway! I am so thankful that managers and mechanics like Jimmy D and shops like Caliber Collision exist. I liked the Katy location and gave them 5 stars for their initial work, but having the manager personally take care of my issue with promptness, sincerity, and concern was five stars in my book. He even let my momma hug him for taking care of her baby girl's ride. I love happy endings! read more

Had some body work and pain done on the side of my wife's Toyota Sequoia. I was called and told it was ready, when I arrived I had inspected the vehicle as I am a NACE certified coatings inspector and found several issues in the coating from improper prep work. After they tried to fix it there were still several issues. I was finally offered a free front windshield since I had a crack in it if I would accept the work. The staff is friendly just don't know why there were issues unless they don't have a proper spray booth. *****I emailed with no response as of yet. read more

I was stuck on Northpark drive in Kingwood for three hours. I left my car to go into a nearby church. While inside the church someone damaged my car. I brought my car to Calliber Collision because of the great recommendations and reviews. I am so happy with their work. They discovered that my airco had stopped working and managed to repair that as well. When I got my car back and got inside to drive it away I noticed that they had detailed my car as well. I just recently entrusted "Sasha" my '05 Mercedes Benz to CCC to have repaired the passenger side door and rear panel, and their team provided amazing service from the first call. Priscilla assisted not only with scheduling and the administrative portion but also provided some cost effective tips for dealing with the rental car company. From the time I walked in to Caliber Collisions my experience was AMAZING! I dropped off my car (Nissan Altima) and Michelle (I think that was her name) was very attentive and accommodating. She seemed genuinely concerned about my accident and even offered to take me home! (I had already called an Uber, so I declined). From then on, David, my technician, was equally as attentive and updated me on my vehicles progress with daily phone calls and text messages. My car was finished about a WEEK early () and it was in even better condition than when I dropped it off. The outside of my car was waxed and cleaned as well as my tires and rims and the inside was cleaned and vacuumed. Also, David informed me the MINUTE my car was completed and ready to be picked up (which happened to be around the time they closed on a Friday) and because they are closed on the weekend, he offered to come in Saturday morning so I can pick up my vehicle. He actually ended up staying past closing on Friday so that I would have it before the weekend. The icing on top of the cake, I was able to drive my enterprise rental to their location and they took care of returning it for me! Wow, where do I even begin? This shop was recommended to me by USAA as one of their premier shops, and I hope they reconsider this at this point. While the staff was courteous and friendly, and I have no complaints there, there were countless problems with the repair that do not allow me to recommend this location to anyone. The repairs to my car had to be done twice, as I was told, due to the initial bodywork not being up to specification by the shop manager (which is good, that they will actually refuse, and redo work like that before it gets to the customer), but so many other problems. My quarter panel repair looked wonderful, however, the car was returned to me without the damage to the bumper (sustained in the same accident) repaired. I ended up having to bring the car back a second time for that. In total, they had my car almost a month, and while that wasn't a problem for me, it might be for someone else. The bigger issue is that while making the repairs to my quarter panel and bumper, the car received damage it didn't have before, which then also had to be repaired. Additionally, the detailer broke three of the elements on my rear windshield defogger, something inside the car was broken and needed to be repaired, I received the car the second time with the rear interior panels unbolted and loose, my hatch full of body and sanding dirt, there was fresh grease on my cloth seats (that were conveniently covered up with a blanket that had been in the trunk), and even three pinhole sized burns to the cloth interior. The secondary repairs to the trim on my car look better than they did, but unfortunately, it's plainly obvious that a repair was made there, and I have to live with that at this point I guess, since the parts just don't fit back the way they should on a new car. I appreciate all that Eric attempted to do for me when he was instated as the new manager of this location, but unfortunately there was way too much wrong with this whole repair for me to suggest that anyone bring their car to this location. There seems to be a serious problem with the employees actually doing the work, in that they don't respect the customer's vehicles, or at least they didn't respect mine. When I brought my car there everything on it worked and it had no damage, other than that from being hit in the quarter panel. Now, it's completely obvious the car has been repaired, my rear defogger no longer works correctly, and I've got burns on the cloth and I've had to clean the grease off the back seat and bolt the interior panels back in myself. Not what I expected, let me tell you. This is the review I sent to Caliber when asked for a review. I decided to add it here as well since I saw that someone else had the same experience as me - damage on their car that was not there when they brought it. I was also given the excuse "but your car is older," but that has nothing to do with the fact that their shop caused damage that then had to be repaired IN ADDITION to the accident damage, and now the car is not the same as it was. I took my car here for hail damage, now with that said I have had expericenes with other body shops in the area and have had no problems what so ever. I excepted Caliber Collision bc it was insurance recommend by USAA and truly sry I did. First off my car had to go back for dents that were not properly done and told the insurance co. it was bc the age of the vehicle....well I will tell you that said dents were not there before the damage and then as I was waiting to pick up my car for the second time I noticed spots on the grill that had not been buffed...now with that said the manager was outside with another dissatisfied customer and made the comment to me as my car was being driven to the back for the 3rd time to be buffed out..turns and looks at me and says " whats wrong now " , you don't treat customers that way...the manager just had a poor attitude in general.
