No one wants to end up here, of course, but when your car needs collision repair there's a few things you want - honesty, fair prices, fast repair, quality work and communication. I have a car that unfortunately experience a fender bender - ok, more like a $7,100 repair bill-sized collision. The car isn't a standard vehicle and so a lot of parts needed to be special ordered so I was prepared for a I 3-4 weeks process. Steve, my rep at Caiber, was outstanding. His communication to me and with my insurance company was consistent, informative and accurate. The repair work was excellent, as you can't tell anything ever happened to the car. I hope not to be back - ever - but I'd have Steve and the the crew at this Caliber Collision work on my car again in a heartbeat. I went in to receive a quote for some minor damage done to my front bumper. I told the guy in the office that I wouldn't be using insurance, and before he had even looked at my car he laughed and said "trust me you're gonna want to for this". He ended up quoting me $2,000 in damages, which I felt was a very high price and I was already put off by him telling me it's going to be expensive before even seeing my car!! Felt like he took one look at me as a young woman and was like yep time to up charge. I ended up taking it to a different shop where I was quoted $900. The ladies at the front desk were very nice but I would not recommend this place since they tried to rip me off. read more

On October 28, in the midst of unusually high winds, my new car was hit by a flying object that left chalk dust and scrapes covering the passenger rear panel. Christopher Mann, a service advisor, evaluated the damage and suggested that it might be buffed out rather than needing a major repair. Romero Biscera did an absolutely amazing job and returned my car to like new, saving me an estimated $1500. This location was recommended by my insurance carrier. Worst experience of my life. I was lied to repeatedly and I don't understand why. I've used Caliber 3 times before, just not this location and I will never use Caliber again. ​James told me it would take 3 to 4 months to repair my car. He never submitted a estimate to Allstate after telling me he had, 4 days in advance. Left voicemails lying to me as well. I moved my vehicle to another repair shop and it was repaired in 4 weeks. The staff was so friendly and accommodating for my temporary disability. I was supposed to drop off the car for evaluation and was unable due to a foot injury. They put me on hold and told me they would send someone to pick up my car. I went to get an estimate for 1 small door ding and they gave me an estimate of $200 to $600 dollars- of course I wanted details of how 1 small door ding could possibly cost $200 dollars and they said well we may need to dissembled the door- I said no you're not doing all that- it's ONE door ding - needless to say I left and I went to Dentworks off camp Bowie Blvd and the owner Monte took care of my 1door ding for $45 bucks and it was ready in 20 minutes- I can't even tell it was there - a big Thank You to Dentworks for taking care of my car needs! Got some body work done at a different caliber location a few months ago after I was hit on the passenger side. Yes they got my car out relatively quickly, however, there were tons of body screws missing (which I pointed out) and as I was driving down the freeway after picking up my car, my passenger side mirror FELL OFF !!!!!!!. It was hanging on by just a wire..... I brought my car into this caliber location (which I was told you can go to ANY location) due to it being closest to my work. I was told that they would have to order the part and that it would be best for me to take it into the original caliber that I went to. It was obvious that they just didn't want to provide me with service due to its complicated nature. The estimator was rude and didn't give me appropriate customer service. I should have fought to receive the proper service, but did not want to go through the hassle of getting work done at a place that does not deserve my business. I took my car to JDS Collision Repair in Irving and they did an absolutely fabulous job all around. I will not be using caliber nor recommending them in the future. read more

Great job. Honest! First ask for Rocky. He's a specialist who will walk you through each step of the way with phone calls letting you know cost, time frames, research on parts, how the repair shop is doing, etc. Rocky never tried to "sell" us something per say. He gave us real answers, thoughtful insights, ways we could keep the costs down and most of all was honest. These guys did a top notch job for us on a badly damaged sports car and came out giving their profession a much needed impression.
