The second time I visited, I had a small paint chip and was looking for an estimate. Instead of telling me that my only option was to repaint my entire bumper, the technician explained how I could repair the chip myself at a quarter of the cost! I was very impressed.

I went inside to speak with the representative, and instead of acknowledging the issue, I was told the original quote didn't cover the full repair. I'm not sure why anyone would provide a partial quote without explaining that upfront. They then gave me a second quote to finish the job--something that should have been included from the start. At that point, I decided not to move forward. I won't be using this company again. Clear communication and complete estimates should be the bare minimum.

Then, my AC stopped working altogether, and they diagnosed the problem (blower motor had broken). This week, my freon was again out. They had quoted me $70 to add freon and dye to see where the freon was leaking from, with the cost to the repair the leak TBD based on where it's coming from. Well, Priuses apparently cannot have dye, so instead, they added freon and listened to the system to see where it might be leaking from. Needless to say, it was a longer process than had they used dye. When I went to pick up the car, they told me where the leak was coming from. I chose not to fix it, but I still had to pay them for their work and for adding freon. Instead of the $70 he quoted me, he only charged me $50. I did not ask for a discount, but I appreciated the service and the value. Next time my car needs a repair, I will not hesitate to bring it to All Auto.
