First, I am in El Paso, TX, not San Francisco. Car was in for simple bumper damage, and paint. I dropped my husband to pick it up, and when he got home I went out to look at the car. It took me exactly 1.7 seconds to see that they painted it the wrong color. There is a plate inside the front driver's door that tells them exactly what color the car is, and the customer shouldn't have to tell them that. They paint cars, that's what they do. My color number is 40-Super White, and they used 70-Blizzard Pearl. I called immediately, and they laughed, and said they didn't notice it because it was in the shade. Did they paint it in the shade? Of course, they did inform me that there is a lifetime warranty and if it "bugs" me, just bring it in and they will repaint it. That's great, BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK! I didn't ask a landscaper to paint my car, I took it to a place THAT PAINTS CARS! I guess my rear bumper is now like a sparkly new accessory. Maybe I should get the front bumper painted the same to match. Just sitting here shaking my head. read more

The bumper was not aligned properly when I picked up the car. Bumper should've been replaced not repaired. Emblem was left off of the car. I had to bring the car back to have them put the emblem back on. The emblem was found inside of my car on the floor board. The emblem was put on crooked. Will not be back. read more

I took my vehicle to get repaired for wind damage. My estimate was $12,000, that should of been my first red flag. I was told that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get the repairs done. It took five weeks to get my vehicle back. When I did get my vehicle back, the car was completely filthy inside where they had left the windshield off and let all the dirt get into the vehicle. when I would call the shop to find out details, I wouldn't get a call back but I would get a text, very impersonal service. I don't recommend this place at all. Very unprofessional. read more

I had a tree fall on my my 2016 LT Chevy Suburban. They took almost 2 moths to "finish" the work. Zero communication. When I went to pick up my Suburban is was not done correctly, window was not calibrated, tints were not fixed and different colors, dents and chips still not fixed. Took it back and they said a day but again with zero communication they kept it for over a week. Without fixing most of what was needed to be fixed and gave me back my truck filthy on flat tires which turned out had screws in them and they did even care 19psi and I have to buy a whole new set. I still have to take my truck in again as still chips and cracked in my grill, dents not fixed, truck alignment is still off and they just moved the scratched rim to the good side. Shady business. Do not trust them. They will make a bad situation worse!!! read more

Our daughter was in a not at fault accident in August of 2016. The front of our Chevy Spark was damaged pretty bad, front hood and entire bumper were destroyed. After the work Caliber performed, it is perfect now. It really looks amazing. They finished well before the timeframe they initially gave us as well. What we really liked were the daily updates they gave us and the professional and kind manner they showed us during an otherwise unpleasant event. Caliber also handled everything with our insurance. I had an accident and took my car to Caliber Collision. Getting information was like pulling teeth. They fixed the damage they and the insurance company found. When I got the car back, I kept hearing a bang every time I hit a bump. Took it back and they explained that someone had removed a bolt holding the strut (which was bent) to the wheel assembly. CC refused to call the insurance company and said it was fine and I could drive it. Took the car to my regular mechanic and he looked. He told me that they should never have let me drive it out of the lot. the suspension was messed up to a tune of 1200 dollars more damage. Insurance company agreed. read more

An accident is never a fun thing to deal with. You worry about injuries, medical bills and of course your vehicle. Dealing with Caliber was a completely different type of experience. Twice I contacted Caliber Collision and requested a call back and still have yet to hear from them. Beware of their dishonest invoicing as they are not honest. I would NEVER use them again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. Here is my correspondence to them: In regards to RO 599006310 I would like to know why I was charged for 5.6 hours of labor when I dropped my vehicle off at 7am on 7/16/19 to have my original RT rocker molding reattached that was bumped off, was informed that the maintenance techs would arrive at 8am & start on it then and then to have it completed at 9am. That means that it was worked on for 1 hour & not 5.6 as I was charged. At $46/hr that is quite a difference in cost. I brought this up at time of checkout several times to Raymond Gomez and got various replies back: "that's how it's calculated for insurance" (I paid out of pocket not thru insurance), "that there's more to it than the actual time it's worked on", and best of all "that's how the employees get paid for the time they work on it". In addition I was informed that several of my existing clips were used & although you didn't have that kind in stock I was informed a couple of others you did have in stock were modified to work and they were spread out to attach the molding but a couple clips were still missing but that it should work because an adhesive was also used on it. And yet my receipt shows I was charged for 10 brand new type 1 clips ($35.50) and 3 brand new type 2 clips (20.73). I had already removed all the existing original clips that had not been damaged by the bump when the molding came off and had them with the molding. Why did I not have all these 13 new clips that I paid for installed instead of how it was fixed? I notice when I push on the RT molding it is secure but does move and is not as secure as the left molding due to the lack of all clips being in place. Your staff was courteous and helpful, and your facility was nice but it is wrong to charge people for labor time that did not happen and for parts that you did not replace. That's wrong on so many levels - so dishonest and unethical. If the need ever arises that I need any repair work done I will never return to your business and I will never refer anyone to you and will relay my experience to them and to the business, Pep Boys, that referred me to your business. All actual labor hours and parts purchased reflected on a patron's receipt should match exactly what labor hours were done and parts replaced - yours do not. read more

Took my 2004 Dodge Durango to Caliber Collision, Ray Gomez is the gentleman who took care of me. They had trouble finding my new replacement bumper, even from the dealership since my truck is dare I say it--kinda old. But, somehow they hooked it up and it turned out better than before! This is the 4th time I have come to them for an accident repair, and every time it's like brand new! No off color, or it looks different now....perfect!!!! read more
