These folks have taken care of me twice. Once on the East Side, service was great and the work was done perfectly and once at the Mesa location. They drove me where I needed to go after dropping off my car, kept me posted, then returned my car repaired perfectly and completely detailed, cleaned, shined. Efrain took care of me. This gentleman made helped make me a life long customer of either location but especially the Mesa location. Everyone from the front desk greeter/receptionist to the gentleman assigned to drive me where I needed to go was kind and gracious in a very honest way. Caliber Collision - Body Shops Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I had repairs with my insurance done back in October. The turn signal on the right hand side was blinking faster than normal when I received it back. I didn't think anything of it fast forward to June. I have to get my inspection sticker. They're telling me my back,Break light and turn signal out. I took it back to caliber collision who said that they looked at it and hooked it up to my driver side and it worked on my driver side and it must be something electrical and they have to do a diagnostic on it. I took it somewhere else as they told me that the insurance would probably not cover it since it may not be related to work that was preformed. Other place charged diagnostic, turns out light was simply not connected correctly. if the job has been done correctly in October, I would've saved myself hassle. read more

my son passed this last June. Because there was no will and probate was taking forever. It took approx 6weeks and talked with 3 diffent adjusters I want to have the vehicle repaired for minor damage. He was driving when he suffered a heart attack. I'm selling the vehicle do I can give the money to my grand daughter for college. Everything was set to go. The bidy shop decided the damage was a result two separate incidents. WTF ? The job is vehicle repair NOT accident investigator or claims adjuster. Caliber Collision has been great. I've had the unfortunate experience of crashing recently but Caliber made me feel at ease. They're very professional and keep you posted every step of the way. They did a fantastic job fixing my vehicle and when I needed to bring it back to get some minor work under warranty it was taken care of immediately. They even detailed my Explorer. I was shocked at the service here. I have used Caliber in the DFW area and had great experiences with them. I don't know if the problem is with this specific location or a policy now with all of them. I was rear-ended by a person insured by Progressive Insurance and took my car here for an estimate. I was told by the lady at the front desk that since this was a Progressive claim it was their policy to not give me an estimate but to go off of Progressive's and when I bring the car in for repairs if there was a difference, they would work it out with the insurance company. I confirmed that their policy was for me to commit having my vehicle repaired by them better knowing what they were even going to do to me vehicle and she said yes. I said that won't work for me and left. I have never come across a ridiculous policy like this. My concern is that the person who hit my car punched holes in the bumper cover and Progressive wants to patch and I want a new cover (this is an immaculate Audi). Not I'm off to another shop that will actually tell me what they plan on doing before I drop off my car. They may have a policy and an agreement with Progressive, but they don't with me and I'm not a Progressive customer. Seems real shady considering state law allows me to have my car repaired what I want and the expectation to have it in the same condition prior to the accident. Clearly this agreement between the shop and the insurance company is a way to save money and do below acceptable work. This "policy" has lost a customer not only this time but for any future repairs I may have. A poor way to run a business. Corporate needs to take note. read more

Unresponsive and rude customer service. Took almost four months for my vehicle to be fixed when they stated it would two weeks to be fixed.

When my insurance company suggested I go here for faster claim service, I should have run the other way! When I brought my car there on a Monday afternoon, I waited for close to an hour for someone to 'check me in'. The guy who looked over the car commented to me how bad the weather was and they were forecasting severe weather with hail. He then said... don't worry, we'll have your car in the shop after I notate the damage for repair. Two days later I get a call telling me car would be ready on Friday of that week. Then, I am told... by the way, your car was caught in the hail storm. I was told that all I needed to do was submit another claim and they'd be nice enough to cover my deductible. The woman I spoke with couldn't tell me the extent of the damage only that their 'in house' estimate was close to 2 grand of damage. Reluctantly I made a new claim. Friday rolls around and I go to pick up the car only to be told they couldn't get to the hail damage. They would have to figure out when would be a good time to bring it back. The employee, Brittany, that brought me the car thought it was funny when I commented there were now swirl marks in my door that had been supposedly repainted. Then when I commented that the hail damage could have been prevented, again she chuckled. I made it clear they would not have my car back and demanded my keys. As I go to enter my car, I see razor blades on the roof of my car, in which I called Brittany back to retrieve. So.....this place is horrendous. They submitted 1800 to my insurance for the repairs they had done, sighting a lot of repainting. Nothing looks repainted to me and looks like they did paint-less dent removal. I brought the car to the insurance office to have them take a look. They are now investigating further. read more

Waited 20 minutes with no one at front desk to get any service. I had repairs at same place before covid and it was the same, so you can not blame covid. They really need to have someone stationary at front desk to assist customer and have some empathy for the amount of time customers wait. read more

I found them to be very professional and they did a great job. Taking off one star only because they kept the car for a month due to getting more cars after mine. To be fair they did let me know they would be keeping it for a month up front, then gave me a sooner date, but ultimately kept is longer than a month. I'm actually debating on giving five stars because the rest of their service was really good and this was during the pandemic. read more

Terrible customer service. Have extensive hail damage and estimate completed. Originally told they would have me in for repairs within the week. Then I had to call more than three times (even to the general manager) to get repairs done and now they say they have no time until the beginning of the year. Our car was in a minor wreck and insurance suggested this place.They kept the car for 5 days and left us struggling to get places only for my boyfriend to call on the 5th day and ask when it was going to be ready and find out that they hadn't done anything and apparently couldn't fix it so they took 5 days and all they did was take a few parts off and put them back on and they still charged us $100. They charged us $100 just to keep it 5 days, take it apart and put it back together without fixing absolutely anything read more

I had been told at this collision center was very, very good. So I took my vehicle as well as my three-year-old daughter to go get an estimate on the repairs needed for my vehicle. When I showed up they told me that someone would be with me shortly. I said that's fine. After waiting 20 minutes I went up and asked about somebody coming to help me. She said that she was sorry and that she would contact him to make sure that he would come to see me about my vehicle I noticed in the office next to her there was a gentleman speaking to one of his employees. I had a suspicion that's who I was waiting for. I asked the secretary if it would've been better if I had just made an appointment and she said yes that she was sorry but they usually ask for appointments for estimates on repairs. I told her that I'd be glad to make an appointment to come back later she said no it's OK he'll be with me shortly. After waiting 35 minutes almost 40 minutes and trying to entertain my three-year-old I decided this is long enough it's time for me to leave. So I left. As I was getting in my car The gentleman who had been talking to the employee in the office next to the secretary run out the door and said yes sir yes sir. How can I help you. I noticed on their business card they make statements like: we do the right thing, we are inspired to serve, we are courageous, we are proud, we have fun, restoring the rhythm of your life. After this unfortunate first impression I decided this is probably not the place to get the kind of service I need. It turned out that the gentleman who came to greet me was the manager. I thought at the very least he would have the courtesy to say something of of an apology for making us wait such a long time. Especially when I have in hand a three-year-old child. And we were patiently waiting for him. But no. Nothing like that occurred. So one of the things that this business is lacking is any kind a courtesy, consideration and respect for their customers especially new ones so on this, I decided not to come back because I began to wonder if this would also be reflected in their work. I had the worst most terrible experience with this business. They do not have a shred of decent business ethics. I figured out Sean's disgusting deceitful scheme far too late. He will draw you in with honey in order to gain your business then treat you like garbage once you agree to the work. Whats worse is that I was charged over $1,200.00 for a scratch on the side of my car after being quoted only $700.00. To-date, every experience I've ever had dealing with auto repairs has been horrible (insurance, claims, adjusters, selecting a reputable repair shop, quality, time of repair, etc.,) - until now! I must say dealing with the staff at Caliber (Mesa location) was truly a hassle-free experience. Not only did they keep me well informed, the quality of workmanship was excellent, and managed to complete the work ahead-of what was promised. They even detailed some blemishes not affiliated with the original damages. I'm extremely picky, however, they made this super convenient, and the attention to detail was exemplary! I would NOT recommend this collision center to anyone. Let me tell you my experience. I was rear ended a few days ago. Got the insurance of the person who hit me to give me an initial estimate and 2 days of loss of use. Went to caliber collision center with this estimate. Initially was told by this person called Fernando Ortega that yes they can work with the estimate. dropped my car there on 8/1/2013 at 10 AM. they recommended and gave me a ride to enterprise near by. After 8 days (for a bumper change !!!) on 8/9/2013 which was a friday they started working on my car 2 hours before i was supposed to pick it up. So, i ended up driving a rental for 8 days. Initially fernando was very accomodating - words like "you dont worry that is what we are paid for", "We have talked to enterprise and when you return the car enterprise wont charge you but will send the invoice to the insurance directly", once the repair was done on friday 8/9/2013 at 6:30 PM (when the rental car company was already closed for the day) i was told to drop the rental at the collision center and that they would return the car to enterprise, would take the invoice and send it to the insurance. Guess what, enterprise charged me $240 for the rental and Mr Fernando did not send the invoice to the insurance until 8/14/2013. Today is 8/15/2013, have not heard anything back from the insurance about getting a refund for the rental. Fernando has very cleverly washed his hands of this whole issue. Insurance suggests that the collision center should not have kept the car for that long and that it is not "reasonable" since caliber collision is partly responsible for the delay. I bet Mr Fernando and Enterprise had an implicit understanding and misled me. If insurance does not pay the entire amount of the rental and caliber does not pay their side of the delay I am considering consulting a lawyer in getting my money back. read more
