After finding ourselves in a accident that wasn't our fault we had the painful process of getting the car fixed. We were referred to Caliber Collision . What a fantastic find ! We were assigned a repair agent, Austin who helped us through the entire process. He answered all our questions and called with updates as needed when changes to the estimate came in. The process was easy. The repair was fantastic and they even handled returning the rental car when we were completely repaired! Going through a car accident can be very stressful but Caliber Collision made it easy. Two thumbs way up!!! read more

Didn't understand the reasoning behind them not willing to repair my car after it was considered totaled. Even though I was willing to pay out of pocket for the repair. Makes no sense , but just like everything down here when it comes to transportation issues. read more

Will never ever brink my car for any repairs. I went on to have body work done after an accident. My car was supposed to be fixed in 2 weeks at max. A couple of days prior to me going to pick up my vehicle the adjuster with the insurance company calls me to ask about my car and mentions that my car was totaled out. At this point I'm so confused because the portal for caliber collision says my car is almost done being repaired. I'm lived at this point because there was no communication from a live person on this matter, when a car is totaled you don't just let a portal tell someone that you give a phone call. Finally when I go and purchase my new car after the fact the man who does the estimates Randy I believe at that location acted as if everything was all fine and did not take any responsibility for the matter. It's the principle of the matter yes I was able to get a new car in a pinch but not everyone is a financial place to do that so quickly. Like I have worked with him specifically on repairs before and he had no problem reaching out to me before to let me know if something could be repaired or not why was it any different this time. read more

Unbelievable service, communication and workmanship throughout the entire process. First off, Alex C.(Charlotte-Ballantyne) was a tremendous service advisor! During intake she was considerate and professional. She kept me well informed on the status during the repairs. We had a time constraint that I shared with Alex C. (our problem, not Caliber's) and she and the technician were able to turn my car around in eight days. I am extremely grateful to Alex C., the service tech, and Caliber Collision at Charlette-Ballantyne for their incredible service and repair. Scott S. read more

Alex was the best rep to help me she's super patient and takes time to explain anything I had questions about

The staff were friendly and helpful and they returned my vehicle with the planned repair and I was satisfied. The vehicle interior was also cleaned very well which I appreciated. It wasn't until I arrived home that I noticed my center console had been wiped clean of all coins inside it. I didn't think to take my toll money out of the vehicle before I dropped it off. The quarters, dimes and nickels were gone! I feel violated and disappointed in the integrity of the people that worked on my vehicle. It was maybe $10-15 in change, but still, upsetting. I called to speak with the manager and was told to call back after the weekend to address my concern. read more

Strongly consider finding an alternative shop if you are trying to have work done related to your bumper cover or trim. I had a horrific experience working through my insurance company with this team to complete the repairs related to my claim. The staff are very nice which is the only part of the process buoying the rating. However, they will not take any pride in the final product they deliver you and are completely fine collecting your money and leaving you with damage to your vehicle caused by their technicians that wasn't there when you dropped your car off. They are ultimately in cahoots with the insurance companies and will serve their interests before the customer. In my case, they made minimal effort to get my insurance company to cover the cost of a bumper cover replacement claiming unrelated damages, despite a portion of the related incident having damaged the bumper cover and knowing full and well that they would tear up my existing bumper taking it off and on to repair other affected areas of the vehicle. The branch manager claimed and stood fully behind the idea that since their service advisor explained to me that his team may cause additional damage to the existing bumper that I was forced to reuse (if I didn't pay another $600 on top of my deductible), that his team was totally absolved from any responsibility or liability for additional damage they would cause to the bumper. I get a call that my car is "ready" and go to pick it up and there is a new 2-inch tear and spider-web cracking in the sealcoat of one corner of the bumper cover caused by the repair team reinstalling the bumper cover. After immediately pointing this out to my service advisor on my initial inspection, he lies to my face that the damage was there when I dropped the car off and denies responsibility. After I involve my insurance carrier, the shop quickly changes their narrative to "well we told you it could happen, not our problem" and refuses to offer to repair the damages they caused. The lack of professionalism, morality and desire to conduct business the right way is absolutely appalling to me. This location needs to have a revaluation of their business practices/employee character and can rest assured they won't see any business from me or those in my network in the future. read more

The local Indian land Caliber Collision was great but the charlotte Caliber Collision consistently over promised and under delivered. Initially told me they could fix mu car then changed stories to tell me they couldn't. Would tell me daily they would be work on my vehicle to do a "final review" and submit info for my claim to find out it wasn't done. Consistently informed me they would call me to update me but never did. This went on for approx two weeks until I asked to speak with the manager and they pretty much avoided me having the ability to speak with him. I was fed up with not getting answers on my vehicle being fixed so I called with the insurance company and that day the car was reviewed and paperwork was submitted the same day. After this was done, I had the car scheduled to be picked up and taken to another shop and to add insult to injury Caliber Collision held my car and wouldn't release it to the tow company so we again had to call with the Insurance company to have my car released. I would NEVER suggest anyone take their car to the charlotte caliber collision. read more
