To Whom It May Concern, I am writing regarding the unacceptable handling of my 2019 Chevy Blazer at your South Tryon location. What should have been a straightforward repair has instead become a prolonged, deeply frustrating ordeal that has resulted in the total loss of my vehicle. This vehicle was not simply transportation. It was a gift from my husband, and your facility's failure to properly protect and secure it has caused significant emotional and financial hardship for my family. For nearly two months, I have been without reliable transportation while receiving little reassurance, accountability, or meaningful resolution from your company and its constituents. On March 30, 2026, a Snap-on truck backed into my vehicle while it was parked at your facility. The incident was captured on camera, yet the driver fled the scene afterward. Since that date, my husband and I have been in continuous communication with the Caliber Collision team in an attempt to resolve this matter, but those conversations have produced little progress, accountability, or meaningful resolution. At this point, the inconvenience and damages extend far beyond the vehicle itself. The lack of urgency and responsibility shown throughout this process has been extremely disappointing and has forced me to consider pursuing legal action if this matter is not immediately rectified. From this moment forward, I am formally requesting that Caliber Collision provide an appropriate cash settlement for the financial burden and inconvenience caused, or alternatively provide substantial compensation or a voucher toward the purchase of my next vehicle. Given the circumstances, this is the least your company can do to begin correcting the damage that has been done. I would appreciate a prompt response from management regarding how Caliber Collision intends to resolve this matter before further action becomes necessary. So 1 week later to add insult to injury. I get a response from my husband stating caliber collision legal statement is they are not responsible for the accident that happened on Caliber Collision property advised me to file a police report and seek legal action to SNAP ON. WHAT A DISGRACE. LACK OF EMPATHY and refusal to take responsibility and ownership for the accident occurred while the car was in their possession. So disappointed. Still no car and what a burden this ordeal was left for us to figure out how we are going to come up with a down payment for a car. read more

Took my 2014 S Class in for almost $10,000 in cosmetic repairs. Original estimated time to complete was 4 weeks, revised that within days to 3 weeks, and the car was ready in around 2 weeks. Perfect! Had a small issue requiring remediation and it was resolved in 20 minutes, far exceeding my expectations. Staff were pleasant to work with. The work looks like quality work. The coordination with State Farm was seamless. Highly recommend them. read more

I recently had my BMW 4 Series repaired here because only Caliber Collision Luxury will repair BMW, Mercedes Benz and other luxury vehicles. First thing to know is to set up an appointment otherwise you will have wasted your time driving over. When I showed up to my appointment, I didn't realize that only a service advisor that works with your car brand can help you with an estimate. This was frustrating because when I was given an appointment, I wasn't given a time to show up. I showed up as soon as they opened and had to wait for the BMW advisor to come into work. When he finally did come in, he greeted me but he didn't apologize for my wait. He was very matter of fact with the process and I didn't feel as a customer but as a person taking up his time. He gave me the estimate which was reasonable compared to another body shop in Charlotte so I decided to have my car repaired here. The appointment time was a month away and as I got closer to the date, I expected a follow up call or reminder that that my appointment was coming up. That didn't happen so make sure you remember your appointment date. I met my advisor and again, I didn't feel valued as a customer but simply as a distraction. The time it took to fix my car was 2 weeks which seems reasonable. When I was told my car was ready, I went to pick it up with excitement but notice immediately when inspecting the work that the paint had run around the sensor on my bumper because too much paint was used. There was grease in the bumper and debris that had stuck to the paint job. I told my advisor only about the issues and he immediately say he would get it fixed but come to find out that the painter had left early due to the holiday break. He didn't offer an apology which I felt was warranted because this should've been found during quality control. He told me that I could leave my vehicle over the weekend and it would be ready the next week. When I went back, the issues were taken care of but then I noticed swirl marks around the area that had been repaired. I didn't say anything because I was ready to get my car back and I can probably have a professional detailing done to rectify the problem. Overall, Caliber Collision Luxury of Charlotte did a good job in repairing my vehicle and didn't hit me with any unexpected charges. They should have better quality control checks in place so when you pick up your car, it should be one and done. I do recommend Caliber Collision Luxury of Charlotte and I think your experience will depend on your advisor and the technician because the Mercedes Benz advisor helped me more and provided better customer service than my own advisor. read more

After having my car for three weeks on what I was originally quoted to be a 3 or 4 week job, for 4 consecutive weeks they advised me that my car would be ready on the following Friday. This complicates things when I am getting car rentals and returning and extending them based upon Caliber's expected completion dates. AFTER 7 WEEKS, on the latest date that they told me that my car would be ready for pick up they then told me my car would be ready the next day. The next day came and I was told on that date that they now needed to order more parts (as if they had not put my car on a life to see what parts were needed in the 7 weeks that they had it) and that they would call me within an hour with an ETA on the additional parts. 4 days later still no call. I escalated the repair delays through my insurance company hoping they could help and they engaged the Caliber manager and said that Caliber would call me with an update. After again not getting any updates of any kind, I called the manager myself at the start of the business day and left a message and was advised that he would call me back but I couldn't get the courtesy of reply from him either. 7 weeks in to this ordeal, the employee managing the repairs on my car advised me that they are short on staff and that she would have her top tech that works on my my model vehicle "take a look". That's all she offered me. Why did it take 51 days to determine that we have not identified the parts required for repair. That shoud be step 1. There is no sign of QA, the supervision or customer service. Caliber knowingly and repeatedly gave me updates on my car's progress through their system that they knew to be false and now they are just flat out not communicating with me. I would love to tell you about the quality of their repair work but I don't know that any work has been done on my car yet. Like all customers, I needed 3 things from Caliber: Management of the repair process, accountability and reliable communication. None of the these things have occurred. read more

I can't speak highly enough of Caliber Luxury Charlotte. We were involved in a prolonged issue due to being hit by someone driving a rental car. The situation was beyond complicated involving multiple insurance companies. Throughout this process, the office staff was friendly, communicative, responsive, and supportive every single time I had to contact them. The technician, Mario, was helpful with everything we asked and ensured that nothing was happening with the vehicle without our direct knowledge and approval. The rental car agency insurance company tried to tow the vehicle from Caliber without our knowledge, and Mario stopped this from occurring. Mario also went above and beyond to assist our insurance adjuster with assessing and evaluating the damage. This overall situation was a nightmare for us, but Caliber was a dream and we can't thank them enough. read more

My very first visit for a quote was met with professionalism, friendly smiles, and a suggestion that saved money. I scheduled an appointment and the day I returned, my vehicle was in and out within 15 minutes. Transfer marks were removed and everything snapped back in position. On April 13th, my vehicle had some damage to the right rear bumper. I received an estimate from the Fort Mill location on April 13th, after being referred by USAA. On the 14th, USAA approved payment of said estimate, and let them know that the payment would be bulk distributed, which was transferred to them on the 23rd. I called on the 16th to ask when I could drop off my car for repair. I dropped off my car on April 19th, with the understanding it was a 2-3 day repair, but that it might need to go to the "luxury" location. On the 23rd, I called for an update and was told by said "luxury" division that they had received it that day and would not have a "tech" look at it until Monday. After zero communication, I called on the 27th for an update. I was told by the receptionist that it had just been looked at and she had no update, I did get upset and stated that I needed a firm date as to when the repairs would be completed. She transferred me to a service rep, Clifton Sanders. He was very quick to blame everything on the Fort Mill location, saying that he was "playing catch up just like you." I informed him that I was not playing catch up, I was told 2-3 days, there was no communication from either service center regarding delays. I did tell him that I would move the vehicle to somewhere else if my insurance would allow. He stated that the parts had just been ordered, would be in on the 28-29th of April. Speaking to my insurance, I was made aware that they had already received payment, and that I could file a complaint, which I did. I did receive an email on the 28th asking if they should complete repairs, which I approved because they had already been paid. After not hearing anything again, I called on May 4th, speaking again to Clifton. He is condescending, the implication that I was being difficult about the repair. He once again tried to blame the other location for everything, and I stated that was "bullsh@t". He stated he had been respectful to me and he was going to hang up on me. I stated that "respect is communicating with the customer about delays, respect is fixing the vehicle in a timely fashion. And respect is also taking ownership of your mistakes." How they have treated me, is nothing like respect. I informed him I wanted an exact date and time in which I would be able to pick up my car; he stated it would be done on the 5th. I reached out to my insurance, filed another complaint that there were continued delays, zero communication about delays, found out that they had been communicating with my insurance on a daily basis. Not one call from them to me has been made. Last time I checked, I own the vehicle, not my insurance company. Later that evening, I received another email (no phone call to this day has been made to me by them) stating "Mercedes" send a wrong part, it would not be in until the May 6th. Once again, zero accountability, someone else's fault. Still no phone call. Still no information on when I will actually receive my car back. We are now on day 17 of a 2-3 day repair with no end in sight. Just know, they will talk to the insurance companies to ensure that they do not lose their contract, but they will not communicate with you. read more

I recently found myself in need of body work on my BMW. I didn't want any old place to repair it. I was so fortunate to find Calilber South Luxury. There were beyond amazing. Yes, the parts took time to arrive due to the slow supply chain, but whenever I called, I always received an answer with the up-to-date nformation I needed. Steven, the manager of Luxury South went beyond expectations to help, was understanding and had my best interest in mind. An example was he noted my battery was beyond it's expected death date. He cautioned me, especially considering the high use of battery power my car requires, and clued me in on components to watch out for as my battery power was low. He also helped me sort through the parts that were needed, verses not needed (No, they didn't do the initial assessment of the damage). Scott made sure the right items were ordered due to the variety of bumpers available. Damage to your car is stressful enough, but working with Caliber made it not so bad... read more
