I brought my car to this Caliber Collision after being referred by AAA following an accident, and I strongly regret it. While my car sat at this location for several weeks, the rear driver-side window was somehow rolled down, causing damage to the window regulator. Caliber denied rolling it down and shifted blame to the tow truck driver. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one took responsibility. What's worse is that they never even contacted me to let me know the window was down, which resulted in dust and debris filling the interior of my car while it sat there exposed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That's unacceptable. Then, once I had my vehicle towed out, I discovered items had been stolen from my trunk -- specifically, a canopy and folding chair that were definitely there when I dropped it off. When I called, they told me they don't have security cameras in the back where cars are stored, and that if they "found anything lying around," they'd let me know. But I haven't heard anything, and I don't expect to. Between the lack of security, zero accountability, and basic failure to communicate, I wouldn't trust this location again. If your car ends up here, be prepared to deal with deflection, missing items, and a lack of professionalism. read more

For cosmetic damage to two car doors, I was blown away by the amazing (and cheerful) service received from Service Advisor Mario Robles and his coworkers at Caliber Collision (36705 Perez Rd, Cat City). Let's start with the initial phone call to USAA regarding my accident. They stated that Caliber Collison, is a partner so, I immediately had high expectations, and I was not disappointed. I immediately called and scheduled an appointment. Getting through the insurance process was seamless. The front desk I believe it was Evelyn, I apologize if it was someone else, but there customer service throughout was exceptional! The General Manager Robert conducted my intake, and made me feel assured. Which, was a great feeling of trust that I had leaving the facility. Brian, was my point of contact and he was awesome! kept me informed throughout, and had a positive vibe about him which, also made me feel as though I made the right decision choosing Caliber Collison to conduct my repairs. My repairs on the surface look like a typical accident however, there were several hidden repairs that needed to be done to get my vehicle back to standard, and the mechanic team identified all of these infractions, and then notified me. Outstanding! You have to remember that yes! you see the repairs that are needed on the surface, but when it comes to repairing a vehicle, it's like an onion. There are layers upon layers, so the tech's have to be methodical when diagnosing your vehicle. Have some patience, and let them do there job. I had high hopes for this shop. Upon picking up my vehicle I noticed my vehicle had a really harsh start when I turned it on. I didn't want to think the shop had damaged my engine so I drove off with the vehicle. The engine sounded considerably louder and not like it was before my accident. I am aware that after an accident a vehicle never really runs the same but a vehicle shouldn't be returned in broken condition. I garaged the vehicle for a week because we were using my husbands vehicle to get around. My husbands ac went out on his car and we started to use my vehicle again. I drove my vehicle 3 days to work and in those days the loud engine not only got worse but their was considerable noise coming from the engine now like metal hitting metal very hard I thought it was my tire. The second day of driving my tire pressure alarm went off so i checked all the tires and one was very low. I figured this was causing the weird metal against metal noise. But the noise continued upon looking at my engine I noticed the battery was not tied down and the case that use to be around the battery was gone. Again i figured this was the cause for the noise but on the third day before going to work i spoke to a friend about what was happening and they said check your oil so before leaving to go to work i checked the oil and the engine was completely empty of oil I at this point started looking for more issues and noticed the bolts that hold the engine block in place are completely broken on both sides. I called the repair shop to address these things and the gentleman I spoke to not only did not want to hear anything I was saying by cutting me off but completely washed their hands of any issues I had. I was treated as irrelevant and someone who was trying to get away with something. My vehicle is completely destroyed and no one wants to take responsibility and help make it right. I not only paid this shop my deductible but paid extra to have them repaint it because they suggested it would not look as nice without that being done. They swore i would be helped and taken care of if any issues arise and this was not the case at all I was made to feel foolish and irrelevant and the worst part is after leaving my car in their care and trusting everything would be resolved i get back a vehicle i can no longer drive. My insurance paid thousands and i paid my portion and extra so that i could have a shiny paint job and unusable vehicle. ***** Update***** 4/29/23 I have emailed the company to the email communitymanager@calibercollision.com provided in response to my review with all the information that was asked of me and I HAVE NOT heard back I also have not heard from the actual facility in regards to this issue for any type of solution. I have now reached out to a lawyer to see what my next steps could be. I was returned a vehicle that is not in working order and the company has completely washed their hands of it after taking my money and my insurance payment. I was in an accident last month so my bumper & right headlight needed fixing. I thought that it would take longer for them to repair it because of the ongoing pandemic & lockdown but they exceeded my expectations! I dropped my car off on a Tuesday afternoon & picked it up 2 days after! Everything went smoothly. The receptionist was very nice accommodating as well! Re: safety precautions -- they didn't let anybody in unless they're wearing masks. All of the team members in the office were wearing them as well. They provided alcohol & hand sanitizer before & after signing necessary documents. Lastly, kudos to the branch manager for offering to buff my left headlight for free. Can't recommend these folks highly enough. They get a six, really. We'd hit a tire tread on the freeway, completely - well, almost completely - ripped the plastic undershield off our car. The piece did its job and protected our car's innards, but we had to drive 400 miles with a duct-taped, zip-tied, semi-attached 6' x 5' plastic shield flapping and scudding like a broken wing until we got to Palm Springs. Found Caliber via the Honda dealership, and Enrique had the piece re-attached in five minutes. He said it was simple, and maybe it was, but he took a great load off my mind. I started the process of repairing some scratches on my vehicle in December of 2022. Although they did a good job on the repairs, they somehow managed to lose my key fob during the process. I had to drop off the spare so that they could finish the work on my vehicle. They said they would order a new one from Toyota and pay for it. After not hearing from them after a month, I called and they reported that they found my old key in another persons vehicle but that they would wait for the one from Toyota so they could drop it off to me. Today, I went there because no one ever followed up with me. Chris Curtis said they didn't have the one from Toyota and that he didn't know what the status was of it. This is a major security issue for me and quite frankly, a really bad handling of a customer problem. I believe he lied and they cancelled the key fob from Toyota and just played stupid. A reputable company stands behind their mistakes. read more

I'm so pleased with the work Caliber did on my car. I had to bring the car in as I bought a new car through Carvana and they didn't have the front license plate frame on the bumper. I worked with the insurance company who gave me Caliber Collision's location to get it done. I worked with Stephanie who was very kind, telling me that since it's a minor job, that they wouldn't run it through the insurance and comp the job for me. I was able to make an appointment and was immediately taken care of by Douglas who had the car returned to me with the new license plate frame installed in less than 10 minutes! I took my car in to have some paint repaired. I had brushed against a metal brace in my covered parking spot and had several streaks of the paint from the brace on the body of the car. Caliber did some front body work on my Mustang several years ago, and they did great work. Recently the front bumper started to come loose, and I was unable to reattach it. I brought it in, and they figured out a way to reattach it while I waited. I was waiting to pay, but they gave me the keys when they were done, and said "no charge". I was dumbfounded.
