    wow, what can I say? They did an awesome job!I needed my mirror fixed and I needed to fix it fast because I was going out of town within minutes. I called Caliber Collision and they told me to come right over to take a look at it and within 20 minutes, I had a brand new mirror! I am so grateful and thankful for them taking the time out to fix this matter for me!

    I gave 2 stars because David the Manager tried really hard to accommodate me after his team royally messed everything up. The 2 stars are for him and the paint looking great, the lack of stars are for my completely messed up experience I've had. Here we go: Took my car which is a 2022 Honda Civic Sport that I just got in October 2021, into Caliber on 09/14/2022 to have my left side drivers side door repaired due to someone side swiping me. Mind you, the damage was minimal. It was like a tire mark, transfer of paint, and maybe some tiny denting. I received a call on September 16, 2022 letting me know my car was going into paint and should be ready September 20, 2022 but that they had some bad news. Apparently, one of the techs damaged the passenger side back end of my car but not to worry because it had already been repaired. What??!! They said the damage had already been repaired and my rim was damaged as well but it's being sent to their rim people to be repaired. Per California law you are not to do any UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS to any car regardless free or otherwise without permission from the owner. I asked them if they took pictures of the damage so I could see what happened and they told me no. HOW THE HECK DO YOU DAMAGE SOMEONE'S CAR AND NOT TAKE PICTURES??!! To me this was very sneaky. So I asked if there was video from any cameras around the building, they advised they do not have cameras period. Real convenient, right? So I waited to speak to David the manager because when they called me Friday (4 pm) he was already gone for the day. I called 09/19/22 but he was still out until 09/20/2022. David advised he was not in on Friday and never saw the actual damage but wanted to assure me that what they said was accurate. HOW CAN IT BE ACCURATE IF YOU DIDN'T WITNESS IT AND NO PICTURES WERE TAKEN??!! David told me to come into the shop and he would explain in person. So I left work early thinking my car was ready as well. I get there and my car wasn't even close to being ready. The other side had been primed front and back door even though the damage was only in the front. David said it was so the paint would sit flush yet they only had the back door on the passenger side gone and didn't primer or touch the front passenger door. If the paint needed to sit flush on that side why wasn't it done to the side they damaged? To me, it felt sneaky again like they damaged both sides without telling me. So I left pretty pissed off still. David stated my car should be ready by Friday, September 23, 2022 and that he'd call me the 22nd even if it wasn't ready. September 22nd rolls around, no call. I call the shop and they say he's been in a Managers meeting and he'd call me later. September 23rd morning rolls around, still no call. So I call again and he's not in. Then finally speak with him later in the day. He states that he has great news, my car will be ready the following week, they have done something I asked for, and they were going to take it to Honda for a full inspection after the repairs and paint are fully done. I'm still upset because this is taking longer than they stated but I still want my car done correctly so I keep waiting. My car was ready Monday, September 26 evening accoridng to their website. I get a call from David September 27th stating he was going to call Honda and schedule and appointment for the inspection. The inspection appointment is then scheduled for Wednesday, September 28th. September 28th rolls around. My car is taken to Honda at 1 pm. Honda finishes but tells me that Caliber said they are picking up my car. I tell them no they aren't. I then get a phone call from David. He says that he noticed something with the molding and would like to pick up my car from Honda Thursday morning, take it back to the shop to fix the molding, then drive it to me in Tracy. I told him no because Honda just inspected it and I don't trust any of them to drive my car. I told him I would bring it myself to them Thursday morning. He said okay and that I would just need to sign the paperwork there on Thursday. The paint job looked good. Honda had told me my car had 2 new tires on it and it was slightly pulling due to the 2 new tires on the one side. Mind you I should have only had 1 new tire that I replaced about a month ago. I was confused but said okay. So Thursday comes, I see the paperwork of damages that they say they fixed, turns out whatever the damage that was done to my rim also happened to my tire so they replaced a tire and sent my rim for repairs. Also the invoice states they sublet repaired the quarter glass, repaired the rocker molding, repaired the outer panel, and they installed clear guard. None of this was discussed with me. None of this was okayed by me. Yet all this crap was done to my car. The parts guy came in and tried to show me pictures of the damage to my rim and tire and I asked if there were pictures of the other damage and of course he said no.

    They were ahead of scheduled and delivered our van days before expected, very accommodating, great communication and the car looks FANTASTIC! They washed it and my 7 year old said that they spoiled us Thank you so much!!

    Of course no one wants to be in a situation where they have to leave a review for Caliber, but they definitely earned their five stars. They were certainly booked up, tell the initial time to get in was pushed back, however my car was still drivable until it was not a bad situation. It only took one week exactly for my car to be fixed and they repaired all the Knicks on the number as well. My car looks shiny and new.

After our meeting and kind of estimate, I went back reading the Yelps and realize these people were happy they paid over a thousand to repair basically dents or paint jobs and at least were better than body shops. Read the other Yelps and all of them. Although I am not Mexican, the guy who was grouchy as soon as he got out of the car( I thinking maybe it was a super hot day and he wasn't in the mood to work today?) had mentioned this is not Mexico where it would be cheaper to fix than to replace, we are in the US where it is cheaper to replace than fix my finger sized gash. Oh, that dashed my hopes right there. He wanted to replace the hood and gave a rough estimate of 800. Just to replace it not including painting or fender or anything else. I was paying out of pocket, didn't want to report it to insurance so my premiums don't go up like crazy even though I have full coverage. He mumbled something about like it would all cost roughly about 3000.( just giving us numbers not official quote I don't think but giving us a ballpark estimate). I am not sure why it was rough estimates versus giving us exact estimates? Maybe because we didn't want to replace the whole hood and wanted to fix just that portion( finger length hole). On You tube, they showed how to fix it with paint and strong tape and epoxy so I thought a professional would do it better, but I guess I was wrong. So didn't do it with him. From his other Yelp reviews, most looked like a good job was done in painting and fixing dents. But thought the ballpark estimates were too high for me and so when I went back and read it again I realize all the great value comments were just for dents and paint at over a thousand dollars. I was hoping for a better price point. I will keep searching...

They quoted me a very fair price right away and their person was in my driveway working with 24 hours. I literally could not ask for more. The quality of work was exceptional--the repairs were done flawlessly, and my car looks as good as new. On top of that, the turnaround time was much quicker than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The only issue I had was with the transparency of the estimate, particularly since this was an insurance claim. While they do have you sign off that they've scanned your car for codes before and after the repairs, they don't clearly disclose that there will be a charge for it both times. It was technically in the details of the estimate, but since insurance claims don't always involve a full breakdown of individual charges before committing to the work, I wasn't aware of it upfront. Hopefully, if you're paying out-of-pocket for repairs, they go over these details more clearly. Aside from that, my experience was great. The work itself was top-notch, and I'd definitely consider using them again in the future. Just be sure to ask about all charges ahead of time if you want full clarity on costs!

Mark decided to take it upon himself and change my appointment day. We scheduled for a Friday (on 3 way!) and he's insistent it was scheduled Monday (it wasn't). I tried to be flexible and I told him "if the estimate has to be Friday and the work starts Monday that's ok" His response: "I'm not storing your car here all weekend!!! (A paying customer). As if being involved in an accident isn't stressful enough be prepared for them to add to it - Casey's absolutely doesn't alleviate and just adds to the stress. Steer clear!!!! Fast forward one day. Spoke with the insurance representative today to let her know I'm going to be seeking a different auto body shop. That their customer service is so poor here that I'm uncomfortable with them even peeking at my car. Her response "oh my gosh- I was going to talk to you about that today, Mark was SO RUDE TO ME YESTERDAY so I'm happy you're going elsewhere!" Good luck Mark. I think you're going to need it- your misery is showing and I wouldn't be surprised if you even argue with soda machines, you're just such a downer with NO customer service. No one named Michael seems to works there and Pablo is the owner. When you call frequently no one answers. When you do get someone they just say "hello" when they answer the phone. They don't say the name of the business, like a normal company, so you never know if you are calling the correct place. Usually like his wife or I guess his kid answers the phone. It's totally disorganized. If you don't get through it goes to a voice mailbox that is completely full so you can't leave a message. I honestly had no faith this place would be able to do a thorough check of our very expensive Toyota. It does not even seem like they have the capability to do a real good diagnostic on a car. When I had the car dropped off he never called me to follow up I had to call him to find out what the status was. He just let the truck sit there. He said he needed to speak to us in person so we drove all the way over there to just say the same stuff we said on the phone. He did not seem like he even really knew what to do with our truck because the damage was not completely visible to the eye. He just did not really seem to have the skills needed. We just should have gone to a certified Toyota place that knows what to look for and how to check if the frame is bent. Finally he said it would be WEEKS before he could even fix the car. So we gave up on him and took the car. We will be taking it to a certified Toyota repair dealer. Not to this disorganized place.

I found Ed and reached out, normally I would reach out to several places getting quotes, but something gave me faith that Ed was the way to go. Ed got back to me quickly. He gave me an amazing unbeatable quote and a quick turn around time for my car to be fixed. Honestly, these days you barely find people who are willing to go out of the way and over and beyond. Ed did just that! He was a pleasure to work with. I live a ways away from discovery bay and worked my job the time he could fix my car, I would have had to come super early and Uber back to my job to make It work, it was going to be a task to say the least. Ed offered to pick my car up from me, and drop it back of to me to help me out. Honestly he didn't have to do that, but he did it just to help me, an act of kindness. He made me feel like my business was important to him. He also did great business, my car left battered and came back with a perfect color match and not a single scratch. He did a solid job, his communication was stellar, he sent me pics of progress as he was working, and was on time with pick up and delivery. I'd recommend Ed to anyone. He's unmatched! Thank you Ed!
