It's long, but worth reading…read more.. Listen, I did the research and even discarded family/friend's suggestions on body shops. I chose this place due to the reviews but I should have known better than to believe it could be that great. My vehicle was improperly fixed (from a different bodyshop) from a previous accident before I purchased it. After discovering that there was water leakage in the trunk along with an improper alignment- the dealership agreed to pay for all repairs to a bodyshop of my choice. It was clear from the beginning that this place has a very narrow minded atmosphere when the front desk lady didn't know how to handle my situation. After speaking to the owner, I knew this was gonna be difficult because he reeked of arrogance and even cut me off during my explanation. After I missed my first appointment, I called back to reschedule only to find out the front desk lady once again had no idea about who I was nor how to deal with my situation. Once my vehicle was ready for pick up, I examined it and noticed that my interior fabric panel was unsealed and messed up. Once Doug, the owner, decided he was ready to get off the phone and attend to my concerns it got disturbing. He stepped out with me and aggressively started ripping apart my interior trunk to dismiss my concerns. He ended up breaking plastic pieces only to admit that the panel was poorly handled by his people and would have to stay messed up because he had no interest in replacing it. He stated, "i would not make a profit off of it". He continued to accuse this entire fiasco on the dealership, he didn't shut the hell up until I shot down every single diss he made at the dealership. After mentioning why only the leakage was fixed and not the entire trunk, he proceeded to say that he was "unaware" of those problems and expressed that he would refuse to fix it because the problems came from a poorly done job and not a collision. Cause that makes a difference? He stated, he knew "no one who would fix this type of issue". Now I know this company, they are going to respond to this review and try to shift the blame on anyone besides themselves. Let me finish by saying, they are most definitely overpriced. They charged $500 in labor for $15 worth of items- no exaggeration. I do NOTA recommend, a dealership bodyshop is better and probably cheaper. This review is 100% honest, I am not being petty (1. The repairs are not coming out of my pocket anyway, 2. My vehicle is going to be repaired by the right people, 3. There is no reason to be petty). There is no exaggeration, I not once showed any form of disrespect to any of their staff including Doug. I gave this place the chance to fix their mistakes without being rude or exasperating, they said no so now I tell the story. Simple. So don't bother responding to this review Complete Collision, I have given you the opportunity to speak your truth and make things right. Don't make a front just because this is now public.

I have a 1996 Volkswagen Cabrio and it has started to show it's age the past couple of years. Over…read morethe past three years I've had to put about $1,500.00 of work into it each year. I had been going to the same auto mechanics shop up until it sold to another company, changed names, and the old general manager retired. Under new ownership and management they just kept giving me the runaround, prices went up, misleading me, wouldn't return phone call, wouldn't order the parts I needed, and would just flat out lie. It was time for a change!! So I went to Owens Collision and Automotive Service Center on Jefferson Hwy in Baton Rouge. It has been a blessing! I came to them with the estimate my old shop had given me and asked if they could beat this price and would be willing to service my vehicle. Brad Owens said he would be more than happy to service my vehicle but the parts would take a little time and they would have to remove my motor to work on it. I completely understood. Brads continual correspondents with me over the telephone has been nothing but professional and courteous. He called to let me know what all the parts would cost before the services were even rendered, so there was no surprises on my bill when it came time to pay at the completion of the job. Not only did Owens Collision and Automotive Service Center do what they said they would do, but they were also able to save me a couple hundred bucks !!! It feels good to know there are still service departments out there that value the customer and are willing to work with them. Now they will always have my business, because they gained my respect and trust.

BATON ROUGE - A judge has decided that a prominent capital area body shop's business practices and…read moreadvertisements were in violation of the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act. WBRZ first reported on a lawsuit filed back in May which alleges Owens Collision misrepresented the contract customers signed and held vehicles longer than necessary "to increase non-repair fees." It also claims that Owens marked up the cost of parts and bills for unreasonable fees. Court records say Judge Todd Hernandez found the business' refusal to allow customers to view their vehicles while in Owens' possession "absurd, unethical, unscrupulous and has proven to be substantially injurious to its customers." In response, the judge ordered that the business allow customers full access to their vehicles during regular business hours. He also said Owens was prohibited from misrepresenting the terms and conditions of its contracts in the future. The judge dismissed the individual claims filed against business owner Greg Owens.
