My husband's car got hit by another car by the end of last year. But it's the other person's fault so the insurance company covered his cost, so he took his car to this near by Caliber Collision. A guy called Kyle managed the repair for his car. 2 weeks later my husband got his car back, but soon he found there was a wheel bearing problem for his car so he couldn't drive it. Then he took the car back to Kyle and ask him to fix it. But Kyle refused to admit it's actually his fault and he didn't able to fix the car. So my husband had no other choice but end up spending $500 at mechanics, the mechanic guy told him it was Caliber Collision's fault. Anyway, very bad experience with this place, such an asshole and irresponsible stuff member. Do not come here with your damaged vehicle, because they cannot fix it! Picked up car and many imperfections!!!! Picked up my car from repairs; I stated the hood is off, but the shop communicated they didn't touch the hood nor do they see where the alignment concern is off, yet my paperwork stated HOOD w/ NOTE: dented/buckled from impacted. Right side of hood, panel piece that is lifted and not aligned nor fletched out, but shop communicated, "they don't see what I'm talking about." Underneath grill, dented from whatever machinery or tools were used, but shop communicated, they don't where they came from. Terrible experience with Caliber Anaheim Hills. I had 2 repair orders, one covered by insurance and the other I was doing without insurance. I approved both, told them to do them together as I had a rental car to cover the time period. Well, after 17 days they phoned today and said the 1st order was done so come pick up your car. They said they had not started on my 2nd order since I didn't approve their quote. I told them what they quoted me ($3,200) and told them I clearly approved it. I went to their shop and they pushed me to close out the 1st order and pay them what I owed. I said I would pay them everything once they completed job #2. We got into an argument and the Manager said, "Well, take your car since we will not do the work on job #2; take your business elsewhere". I went home and had my son drive me back to pick up my car, but first phoned to confirm I owed them $1,346 out of a $6,722 bill. They claimed I owed them $2,424. It took me almost 10 minutes to convince them I was right and they were wrong. I will never go back there nor do I recommend them to anyone. read more

First thing the "manager" said to me was "I'm sorry they hired me a week ago and I'm having to clean up the mess that the last manager left me" and then never helped me after that, he sent someone else to me. They told me my car would be ready by a certain day, called them to make sure it would be ready and they agreed, I left work early that day to go pick it up only for them to tell me that it wouldn't be ready for another week because the "caliber guy" didn't come in. They botched my entire rear bumper, edges were scratched and my doors weren't aligned properly. They apologized and put me back into a rental for another day so they could get it fixed, came back to pick it up and noticed a small detail that was messed up and the guy helping me told me to "stop looking at my car" in a "joking" manner. come to find out the plastics they "fixed" weren't done properly again so now I have weird lines running through all 4 of my doors. Definitely never coming here again. read more

She made me feel welcomed from the moment I came in. When I went back to pick up my car she remembered my name and asked me about my dog who I had mentioned to her was not doing well. These little things that showed me how much effort she put into providing excellent customer service. Derek was the service advisor who kept me updated on the progress on the repairs. We got a family car repaired here a few months ago after it was in an accident. We chose Caliber for their convenient location and affiliation with our auto insurance because we figured the latter would enable us to get our car back faster. Unfortunately, we were informed that the damage was worse than we had originally anticipated once we actually dropped off the car at the facility and it was stripped down for further inspection. As a result, the total job took two full weeks (Monday of Week 1 to Friday of Week 2), especially because they had to order some replacement parts and they couldn't start the ordering process until they actually had the car in their possession. They also don't work on weekends, so that's something to keep in mind. Despite the delays, I found the customer service to be fairly good and responsive. We worked with Oscar, who tried his best to keep us informed on the status of our car. I did have to initiate contact a few times to inquire about the status of our car, but once Oscar realized just how anxious we were to get it back because we didn't have a rental, he made a bigger effort to check in with us daily, which was much appreciated. Denise at the front desk was always kind and helpful, especially in providing us with all our closing paperwork and informing us of their warranty policy. Caliber guarantees any work they perform for life and you have the flexibility of going to any of their locations, should you ever need to. I'm glad they stand behind their work and haven't experienced any problems with our car yet, so...so far, so good! read more

I so wanted to give this Caliber Collision a nice review but, in the spirit of being a respected and honest man with Yelp, along with wanting to help them with their future service, I must post accurately. First of all, my family, friends and the the department I worked with have happily done business with multiple Caliber Collision locations for several decades. This recent experience was not quite so positive. My vehicle was scheduled to be in their shop for a week maximum and I was promised I'd have my vehicle back in a week or less for fairly routine front end bumper replacement work and paint work. One week turned into two, two weeks turned into three, etc. This turned into nearly 4 weeks. I accrued a considerable rent a car bill for the duration. When I did finally get my vehicle back home, I noticed a spot on the door that appeared to have been shot with a paint spray gun! The door wasn't even a body part that was getting any work done one it. Rick and Mike were nice about it and said they would correct the mistake. So, they had me come back again to fix the mistake and promised it'll be done in the morning. Prior, I had previously been in contact with the car dealership that noticed and confirmed the paint job didn't match. After going back to Caliber and getting to see my vehicle in the vehicle in the bright sun with Caliber staff, I noticed the obvious painted front end difference. I had hoped they would acknowledge the additional mistake that they had painted the vehicle with the wrong paint that didn't match the rest of the vehicle! Although obvious, they didn't own up to it and stated, "The same paint on plastic bumpers always look different that paint on metal". I responded it didn't look different before and the bumper was plastic and body was metal. Eventually, they called out the employee that painted the vehicle. He came out and took full responsibility and admitted the error that It was a completely different paint with different color metal flake then apologized for it. I thanked him for his honesty and willingness to right a wrong. Again I had to leave my vehicle with them to fix another mistake. I was promised it back in one day. This turned into two days. I conveyed to them that accrued a big rent a car bill due to all the delays and mistakes. Even when asked, no offer of compensation was offered at any level considering they had my vehicle in their possession for over 30 day total. The manager at the car dealership said should have known exactly what paint color was needed based on the VIN number. I hope whatever problems there get worked out. It's been a very frustrating experience. read more
