Hennessy bbq and spicy bbq very good :)
    Marshay D.

Tried them last night at the 626Market, was not disappointed at all. The wings are very fresh, tasty, and with the right spice. I got the 8 piece with half spicy bbq and Hennessy bbq. They were good and all the other food options looked good as well, but just not big enough appetite to try . The service was very nice, the lady at the register was very amicable and accommodating. They even put the two different flavors separate on the plate for me so I could I identify the flavors. I believe it's their first time at the 626Market, but I do know that they are at the 909market quite often. I never been but I do want to go to try other options on the menu. Their burrito's look very good as well. They are very clean, they give you a buzzer to wait on your food, and they are clean. I'll be back because my food was fresh and prepared well and good customer service!

It's expensive as heck but the portion size is well worth it. Not much to choose from, but what they have EXCELLENT tasting. Great options to pay and fast service. Just wish the prices were more affordable.

Talk about intriguing flavors and they're all made in house. The mango habanero chicken sandwich and the Hennessy bbq loaded fries were good.

I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was insane -- crispy, juicy, spicy, and dripping with flavor.

It wasn't too many choices and the meat skewers were cooked to perfection. A friend that was with me said that the skewers were better at this market than at the larger Thai markets because they aren't trying to churn out a huge number. Here they take care in making sure the meat is still tender and juicy. All the food reminded me of my childhood. So delicious. I made the mistake of getting a papaya salad with "medium" spice. Thai medium spice levels are very hot for the normal palette. So that was my bad. I ate it all anyway. Did I cry a little? Sure. Was my stomach messed up after? Yeah. Was it worth it? I'd get mild next time. The other friend I was with who straight up eats habanero peppers said it was spicy. When in the area I'll be back!

My favorite and must have is the grilled chicken thighs! The chicken skewers are well marinated, a subtle touch of sweetness. The chicken thighs are tender, and perfectly grilled. The cost is $3 per skewer. Definitely worth a shot. The crepe is a great dessert option. It is $10 for 3 toppings. There are various topping options, fruits, syrups, salty, etc. The crepe is made in front of you. Another great sweet dish option is mango sticky rice. The sticky rice is well flavored with a hint of coconut, but the mango wasn't too fresh. There's no spot for seating, no chairs and no tables. Since it is a night street market, don't have too much expectation on the cleanliness. Bring your own napkins, hand sanitizer, etc. Vendor owners are friendly and welcoming. Zelle is accepted, but cash is more convenient. There's a free parking place in a nearby plaza. Recommend getting a try for some authentic Thai food in town.

The place is Alejandra's, and the creation is some of the best quesadillas you can get in LA. Coming up to the stand, you eye the menu and make your order, $8 dollars each or $10 for a dual topping type. There is potentially a bit of a wait due to every meal being freshly made on order, but it is a good and worthwhile wait, the staff, clientele, and food being most hospitable. At your order, purple dough is flattened to a blue corn tortilla, each tortilla freshly pressed and grilled in front of you. You watch it sizzle and rise brown, flip over, and continue its cycle to grow crisp. Topping highlights for me include squash blossoms and pork, which is chicharrones with a surprising crisp and crunch better than almost any other I've had, the ring of each bite echoing autumn leaves crunching under my feet, its condensed jerky flavour hemorrhaging in the still present sweetness of a meat once juicy. The stand provides a salsa bar with red and green sauces available, and other vegatative essentials- onion, cilantro, and pepper- serve as a lush and fresh forestry for the surprisingly substantial spice of the salsa to lick upon; piled upon the mountain of food and flavour, the green and red splatters evoked the Hollywood Hills, the red salsa smokey and particularly burning like the fires of last year. It's an addicting taste well worth the visit and short walk to sit and enjoy the meal in Echo Park. I'm excited to come back and try more ingredients for sure, very likely two or three quesadillas at a time to help expedite the process, as it can't be helped. 6.4/10

Because it is in Koreatown, we expected more of a Korean or Asian-style night market vibe with themed booths, street-style alleys, and the kind of food atmosphere you usually associate with that part of LA. Instead, it turned out to be a general street-food market with mixed vendors. It was not bad, just very different from what we expected. Most of my family ordered hibachi bowls. The flavor was good, but the meat portions were on the small side. One of my sons got sushi from a different booth. I tried skewers and a baked potato from other vendors. The food was decent overall, but not something that feels worth dealing with LA weekend traffic for. Parking is across the street and can get chaotic, especially if you are not used to downtown LA parking. Between the traffic, the parking situation, and the difference between what social media shows and what the night market actually is, I would call the experience a 3.5. Since Yelp does not allow half stars, I am giving it a 3. If you are already in the area, it is a fun place to walk around and try different things. I just would not go expecting a Korean-style night market experience

This portion size I got was not on the menu and I inquired about these since I was looking for the lowest quantity of churros as possible. The churros were overall good and tasty. Crunchy, sugary, and fried nicely. They did taste a bit oily though, but it is a fried treat after all. These were still too much for one person though. If I had to try it again, I would want to get some sauce since I felt like it was missing those as well as bring another person to share them with.
