It took persistant calling for several days to finally get someone to take my call. I always got "they're in a meeting". I was told there would be a service call charge, and that perhaps I needed a new remote. The appointment was booked for the afternoon, but my doorbell rang at 11am, with the agent stating I was wrong. However, I never ever book any appointment to my home before 12 noon, due to shift work. I learned an expensive lesson on why my door didn't open using the remote. The agent never left me an invoice and said I would be emailed one. One never arrived. My bill however did for close to $250. I phoned the company and again took several days before I could speak to someone. I was told I would receive a call around 4:30pm. I waited for that call. It never came. finally I got an email saying it was a service charge and vehicle/supply charge. I never received a new remote as one was not needed and no supplies were needed. My garage door was only 1 year old. An average price for a service call is around $80. I will be taking it up with my credit card company. The service is slow, poor communication and terrible customer service. I see consistently in reviews that communication is bad for years. Nothing has improved many months later.

The…read moreservice tech (Mike) was very quick at "fixing" what was just a sensor that had come off the rail. He showed me how to fix it myself in the future. With that, three minutes after his arrival, my door was fixed and working again. But instead of just leaving, since he was already there and had to charge me for the callout, he also adjusted the height and chain, lubricated it, and also pointed out some future potential problems I should be on the look out for. The person who took my call was very courteous and helpful, and, as I said, response time was phenomenal. Mike was excellent, and I appreciated his work, ethic, and personability. I'll definitely be calling them in the future when I need more repairs.

He had a small handful of parts in his hand and was done the job in 20 minutes. When he was done he said that I would receive a work order which would be emailed to me. Still waiting for it.
