My Aunt lives on Pharmacy and Finch and stopped here to get take-out for us because she was certain that we would enjoy it, and she was right! Manisha greeted us as soon as we entered. What I like about Toronto is that you can find pretty much every cuisine lining the streets from East to West. I was in awe. I have been impressed with three establishments of which I had the opportunity to dine. I live in Texas, and every Indian restaurant here in town starts off great, but eventually ends up declining in both taste and quality. So glad to have been in Toronto celebrating Diwali! The Parathas pictured here are not from the restaurant. The Paneer Pakoras and Fish Curry were to die for (pictured here) and the Milk Cake with Cherries (not pictured) was so tasty! I would come back just for those dishes alone. Definitely worthy of a return visit.

It came out to be $32... I was shocked. My husband and I were only able to finish half the food and saved the other half for another day... The service was very caring and had good attention to detail. The inside is old but feels cozy. It doesn't smell like oil like a lot of restaurants I've been to.. and I was really happy with that! Definitely coming back when we have another craving for this!

The lamb was perfectly spicy and I was thrilled it wasn't filled with tons of potatoes like many places will do. The meal came with complimentary papadum and chutney and all for under $20.

The restaurant opened just two weeks ago so I feel the service was extra nice because they are trying to form a new customer base. We were welcomed by green mango juice shots which were super refreshing. I ordered a chicken roast with polao and it's the closest I've had from the ones back home in Bangladesh. Everything was perfect about the roast, the spice balance, the tastes yum! But the best item I would say is the Mughlai Chicken; be cautious though, its blindingly spicy! The dish is so simple and yet so flavourful, really fills you up. The prices are reasonable and the ambience is very homey. The restaurant is run by Masuda Khatun and her friends and family. So truly, it feels like a home cooked meal.

The gravy was so good in the morug palao, and the rice was super fragrant and melts in your mouth, the mezbaan wasn't really good, I have to be honest, it's not like what I had in Chittagong, but the morug palao is awesome decent portion, the meat was tender and rice was moist, probably one of the best Bengali restaurants in the gta.

**South India on a Plate, No Flight Needed**…read more Came here as a student at York University, and it's been my all-time favorite South Indian spot ever since. Whether it's breakfast, brunch, or lunch, this place delivers the kind of authentic flavors that instantly transport you to South India. The food here is consistently amazing. My go-to is always the Mysore Masala Dosa and the vegetarian Parontha, but if I'm dining with a partner, I never miss the Vada Sambhar plate, with its two medu vadas and two idlis. Every bite hits that perfect balance of spice, texture, and comfort that makes you forget everything else. The atmosphere adds to the charm -- the walls are lined with large posters of South Indian stars and legends, and the music playing in the background completes the cozy, immersive vibe. It's the kind of place that feels both lively and relaxed at the same time. Service can be a bit slow, likely because they're a little understaffed, and there's often a fair wait during weekends or peak hours. Delivery through Uber Eats is an option, but in-person is where the experience really shines. Despite the wait, once the food arrives, all minor complaints disappear. If there's room for improvement, a slightly larger team on busy days could help speed up service and make the experience smoother for everyone. All in all, this is a spot I'll always return to -- it's perfect for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors in a comfortable, welcoming setting.
