This place is a hidden gem on Bloomfield ave in Caldwell. Raheem is da man and he will give you a fantastic cut and then check to make sure every hair is perfectly cut. Caldwell Cuts just opened on Bloomfield Ave. right where Roseland Ave. intersects. Since my old barber Lou left Comb in Montclair, I've been struggling to find a cut that stood up to his. I can honestly say that my recent cut at Caldwell Cuts was the best I've had in a while. As their business card says, "We do all types of haircuts." I'm currently on the straight razor, hard-part train and they nailed it. There was only one barber when I went on Tuesday afternoon, but it was slow and the wait wasn't long. I passed by last Saturday and the place was much busier, just didn't see how many barbers were working. I'll definitely be coming back here. Oh, and the best part, the haircut cost $15!!! read more

The first time I went the tall guy cut my hair,even though he did a okay job,he kept getting distracted.For an instance he kept on looking at his phone and watching the T-V while he was cutting my hair.He also had really strong B.O and I started to feel dizzy.I wanted to be polite,so I didn't tell him,but in the end he notice so I finally told him. The second time I went thinking the first time was just bad luck.I got this short guy that didn't speak english.He called me over and said that he'd be there in a minute.In reality he was having a conversation with someone and didn't come back until 10 minutes later.This guy gave me a good hair cut,but he was very rough.He yanked my hair back and forth and "brushed my hair"(It felt like he was spanking my head with a hair brush).After his experience I'm never going here again I would give this a zero star if I could. read more

I got a wonderful haircut from this place only 15$. The guy named Mark did an awesome job. He is really fun and likes to crack some jokes. He moves quick and makes sure that you are getting the haircut that you want.The place is very clean and neat. Everyone's name is on the top of the mirrors so you will know. Strike up conversation with them they are awesome people. This has been my second haircut by them and I will continue to go there for years to come. This place is located near fish taco right at the intersection of roseland ave. and bloomfield ave in caldwell parking is in the back. Great place for an inexpensive, quality, and wonderful service. This place is terrible.. I went to this place just before a meeting I was about to have and I hoped that the barber would give me a fresh cut. Turns out I was wrong and he messed up my hair. When the barber finished my hair cut I told him that he messed up and he lied and said that it was just my hair, that it wasn't his fault. In the end, he still charged me the full cost of the hair cut after he had messed it up. If you're going to be a barber please make sure you're experienced and if you mess up on someone's hair cut I don't think it's right to charge the full price. read more

The worst place to get a haircut. It is hit or miss with your haircut and most of the time it is a miss. The only person who knows how to cut your hair is Sam. Anyone else and you will get a sh*ty haircut. Also, most of them speak broken English and it's hard to even explain the style you want. If you are looking for even a semi decent haircut I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I went here to get my son a soccer cut. Have been here before and gotten decent haircuts, but today was awful. Clumps of hair completely uncut and other spots chopped. Would not recommend. read more
