I'm rating this based on a tour I took with some clients so they could take part in the fitness and…read morewhat the Y has to offer. I used come here as a kid and though it hasn't changed much, it looks well maintained and offer a lot in the way of programming which is nice. The tour included looking at all the treadmill room, locker room, pool, gym and weight room. With the resurgence of big name gyms like Blink, Power Fitness and even local ones like Coloseum this to me makes them blush with a comparable membership price but offering so much. The sign up process was fine, though they only accept direct withdrawals from a bank account which is kinda disappointing but hence the drop in star but the staff all seemed to be very friendly and they accomodate adults, children groups of people with disabliities as well as seniors looking to play 'pickle ball'. It brought back memories coming here and I'm glad its still around, serving the area all these servoces that a lot of other places would either be higher or wouldn't offer all under the same roof.

Used to work out for the last 6 years at Blink Fitness before moving to West Orange and settling…read moreinto YMCA for the last year. My boyfriend who I signed up with using the 20/20 referral program was adamant about trying to find a gym with extra amenities such as a pool and basketball court in which I agreed to. I come to work out around 3-4 times a week at this location and here are my thoughts. Parking can be tough if you come during peak times such as after work and weekends. The staff is friendly and they maintain the facilities cleanly and diligently. There are very restricted times and days you are able to come in for laps or shooting hoops so if you think you will sign up and go there as you please, that is unfortunately not the case.. While the basketball court area is nice and the pool is warm, the gym is pretty small and very congested. The lifting area is always dominated by males and you generally have to wait to use a lot of the popular machines. Collectively with the discount my boyfriend and I spend around $70 a month in the beginning of each month. Here is some important news, if you are looking to cancel your membership be sure to give them a full 30 days notice cause they is no such thing as a "cancellation fee" which I found to be really odd.

We've been bringing our children to Diamond Gymnastics since they were old enough to attend the…read more"Mommy and Me" classes. The instructors, especially Yasmine, are all phenomenal. They are flexible in allowing make-ups too. We've had several birthday parties there as well and all in attendance had a blast! The party rooms fit a decent amount of people so being able to have pizza and cake is definitely a huge plus. Most recently, Diamond was hit by the storm knocking out power. Rather than canceling the summer camp, they powered up with generators and made it work for everyone and they had a great time. I think that if you are on the fence about sending your child to classes or booking a party, it's an easy decision to go with Diamond.

Parking for the party was TOUGH - we…read moreended up needing to park in the very back by a dumpster (so we didnt block a fire lane) - we alerted the staff to make sure that was okay because their large parking lot was completely full! They have multiple private rooms, which makes having an event here super easy. There seems to be only one restroom in the back area, but everything was very clean throughout the entire facility. Our kids all ran around across the gym area and they had several attendants on staff. One (I assume the lead) was incredibly thoughtful and perceptive. He knew one of the kids had a medical issue and made sure to check in with the mother of that child, ensure he knew whom she was, asked if there were any triggers, what to look for if something was beginning to occur, etc. That in and of itself won me over 100% - that person obviously takes a lot of pride in their work and the safety and fun of those in attendance. We did pizza and cupcakes in the room - it was a bit tight but we were a very large group (over 20+ kids plus parents). My only, teeny tiny comment is that, after a neighboring party ended, they used a very harsh chemical (pine sol?) to completely clean and disinfect. I LOVE that they are diligent and thorough about cleaning, but wish they had a fan or air purifier running while they operated cleaning because several of the parents any myself had to move away and cover our noses due to a burning feeling by just being around the corner from this.

Class starts and ends when there suppose. I took the HIIT classes and they were hard but yet great. The signing up for class is a bit tricky but just remember its a different website to sign up for class. https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/launch. My mistake was not taking the weather into consideration when purchasing the Groupon. With the 10 classes they must be taken within 6 weeks. Normally that is plenty of time but because of the weather I did not get to use up all 10 classes. So plan accordingly. If not because of the distance, I would have sign up for there regular membership. Overall a great experience.

Our son has been taking lessons at SwimQuest for a couple months. The facility and instruction are…read moretop notch. The facility is set up to be both kid friendly, but also peaceful and serene. The lessons are a bit more expensive than the other leading kids swim school, but there are fewer kids so it is not nearly as chaotic. The kids definitely get great instruction and learn to swim in no time. Our son is not yet 3 and can nearly swim on his own after the lessons that he received here. The only thing that is a little strange with their structure is that your time and instructor are not guaranteed from one season to the next, so if you like your time slot and want to keep it, you need to wait in line on sign-up day. The benefit is that everyone has an equal chance of getting their preferred time each season and if you don't get it one season you have a chance the next season. Also, you need to pay for the full season up front, which is a big expense compared to other swim schools where you pay monthly. All in all, we've had a great experience here and would highly recommend it to get you child swimming well.
