We reached out to several local repair shops, and CARS Cristian's Auto Repair was the only one that returned our message that same evening. They got us scheduled first thing Saturday morning. The part we needed wasn't easy to find, but they went above and beyond calling business after business until they tracked one down that could be delivered the same day. The part arrived around 1:30 PM, and they quickly got it installed and had the AC running like new. What makes this even more impressive is that they were supposed to close at 12 PM that day. Instead of turning us away, they stayed late to make sure our car was fixed and ready for the long drive back through the Vegas heat. Their dedication ensured we made it home in time for work and the kids' school on Monday. Truly outstanding service, professionalism, and kindness. But a truly beautiful thing is beautiful throughout. Front to back, top to bottom, all over. So why is it OK to have a band of metal secured by cool decorative bolts on the front and then see no metal band and the butt end of those bolts on the rear? It's like painting only the front of your house. Or frosting half a cake. The job's not done. We can fix it. A strip of thin lumbar, painted and set in the right place will cover the butt ends of the bolts. And it'll only cost a few bucks. But when I paid $800 for a gate why should I have to explain that I'd like the back to look pretty too?

A technician came out and quoted me $200 to replace one broken spring, so I agreed to it. He went outside and came back in and changed the quote to $830! I though that was absurd, so I declined the work. He insisted that I had to pay for the labor of removing the broken spring. He claimed it was $350. When I said I didn't have that amount, he lowered it to $250, then $200, until agreeing on $180. I didn't want to give him any money because he changed the amount he quoted, which is the reason I changed my mind. I felt pressured into giving him the money. He took the cash and left without fixing the spring. The whole ordeal felt shiesty, so I called the company to let them know what happened. FYI, they use a call answering service, so good luck speaking to a representative from the company. I still haven't heard back from someone regarding the issue. I'm out $180 because the tech's quote jumped up over $600. The answering service reps were very nice and promised they would call me back, but it's been a week and I still feel like I got robbed.
