We have over 35 drivers who have trucks all over the country. And for the past nine years, the drivers donate money annually towards a local non profit during the Holiday Season. Even during these difficult economic times, they dig deep into their pockets because they know that there are those that are less fortunate. They also know that the owner of our company, matches their donation. So for the past two years, we've been able to "gift" the Suisun City Fire Department with a 4 figure gift. We then get a shopping list from Joyce and the wonder folks at Code Three Fire & Safety in Suisun who coordinate the whole deal. The very best part? Following the brigade of firetrucks manned by those awesome firemen and the Big United Van Lines Truck and going out to Travis AFB to hand out gifts. I can honestly say that this is one of the most rewarding days of my life. To see the tears of joy and appreciation on the faces of the children and families as they see their wishes granted is something that everyone should get a chance to experience. I know alot of people aren't aware of the number of military families who live below the poverty level and are doing the best they can to make ends meet. So, hats off to the men and women of Suisun City Fire Department, the Fire Cadets/Volunteers, the great folks at Code Three Fire & Safety in Suisun, the Drivers at Chipman Relocation's and all the other businesses who get together and make this all possible.

by the way i just want to say that the tiller they have there is the most unique one i have ever…read moreseen. at least in the bay area. after i went by the police station i decided to go see some cool fire rigs and that is exactly what happend. the brave firefighters there were very hospitable and were more than happy to show me around the station. the other unique rig they have there is the engine. on the door they have the names of the firefighters who gave the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11 then on the side of the engine is the famous picture of the american flag being raised on the ruins of the scorching rubble of what was left of the world trade center. i also got to see a shiny battalion rig and got my first pictures of my first rescue rig. that was a good day. thank you guys for all that you do. i salute you.

This after they had sent it to a collection agency and I had been forced to pay it. (See other Yelper who, like me, had received a collections notice WITHOUT a prior bill.) I received a bill two years ago, called Fire department billing office explaining ambulance had refused to take me to John Muir, (in our county and the only hospital on my insurance) and was assured it would be taken care of. Then suddenly a collections agency contacted me. But thankfully, we have Yelp where us patients can finally be heard. Thank you, Yelp! PS I will modify or remove my reviews WHEN the CCC Fire Department changes their unfair and illegal billing practices.

My sister has been a quadriplegic since 1977; as the years progressed, so has her condition. She requires a mattress with a built in pump to control density which allows her aides to help get her in and out of bed. In light of the recent power outage and no generator, her mattress density was only good until tonight. W/ PG&E greeding up (not doing proper maintenance and upgrades, and CEOs taking bonuses), the customers who pay them their fat bonuses are suffering.
