So, for us to break our Honda streak--and while already owning a vehicle in this same general category--says something. Yes, we were impressed with the Subaru Outback, but this review is not primarily about the vehicle. Cars are personal decisions. This review is about Parker Subaru, and especially about Kyrus Condon. The dealership itself checks every box: immaculate facility, comfortable design, wide selection of models, trims, options, and colors, plus an indoor service bay. Everything about the place felt clean, organized, and professional without feeling cold or corporate. And the people were even better. Every person we met was a true professional, including Vance Allen in finance, which is usually my least favorite part of buying a car. Vance made that process clear, comfortable, and surprisingly pleasant. But Kyrus Condon is the one who turned a casual visit into an outstanding experience. Think of the worst attributes people often associate with car salespeople. Now imagine the exact opposite. That is Kyrus. I am in my 70s, so naturally anyone in his 20s still qualifies as a "kid" to me. But from the moment he greeted us, we had the sense that he genuinely had our best interests in mind. Not as a sales technique. Not as a polished routine. It simply seemed to be who he is. Kyrus has the rare ability to make you feel like work is his excuse to meet people and try to make their day better. You cannot train that. You cannot script it. And then there was his knowledge. My wife and I could not get over his database. There was not a question we asked--and I ask more questions than a toddler on his first trip through a natural history museum--that he did not answer quickly, clearly, and accurately. At one point we began trying to manufacture questions just to see if we could stump him. Curses, foiled again! After our test drive--which was supposed to be nothing more than information gathering--we found ourselves asking Kyrus for the sale. That, I suspect, may qualify as a lane departure of its own. From there, the next steps were easy, pleasant, and refreshingly free of pressure. And that includes the pricing. I came in mentally preparing for the usual dealership dance, but Parker Subaru presented a price that beat both my best-case scenario and what I was already willing to pay. It did not feel like something we had to wrestle out of them. It felt like one more expression of how they do business. Parker Subaru earned our business. Kyrus Condon earned our trust. It was a hot afternoon and Steve came out to see what I was looking at. I'm very particular about the color of my automobiles, so I wanted to view the various colors. Steve said he had the one I wanted on the showroom floor which he did. I wanted a bunch of upgrades and he found the car in Parker's lot. Made the purchase & picked the car up the next day. When I spoke to the A J Carr Finance he reviewed the car protections that can be added. We talked and suggested a couple items, i.e., oil changes, chipped windshields, ripped interior...items I needed. I had a special coating put on the exterior of the car because I'm an outdoor gal which does a lot of gravel/dirt driving. When I arrived the next day, Steve was with another customer but that didn't slow all the other staff members down. The staff helped move a couple items to my new car, walked me through the car and how some of the new features worked. It was fabulous and I wish I would have purchased my first Subaru from them. The staff at Parker work as a team which is how I think every auto dealership and retail businesses should work.

Unsafe brake work, brake failure, dismissive customer service -- avoid this shop!…read more I brought my 2015 Nissan Titan to Center Tire in Post Falls, ID in February 2024 for front brake hose and pad replacement. I paid around $650. In June 2025, I experienced a complete brake failure. I discovered that the front brake hose had ruptured due to rubbing against the tire during normal steering. This is a clear sign of improper routing or the wrong hose length. It was not a one-off because both front hoses were contacting the tires, and over time that caused one to rupture. The tires are proper fit for my truck as well. I had to pay $201 out of pocket to tow the truck back to Center Tire, using the tow company Steve recommended. Driving the vehicle to the shop was unsafe because there were no brakes. They refused to reimburse me for the (very necessary due to their faulty work) tow. Steve originally tried to deny all responsibility with hypotheticals about snow, but nothing was bent and the damage was occurring on driver and passenger sides. They are the ONLY ones who touched those hoses, but they used aftermarket parts that were not the proper fit, or the hoses were installed incorrectly. After trying to deny responsibility with several hypothetical excuses, Steve was unable to provide a reason for the failure. They replaced the hoses at no charge, which quietly confirmed the original work was at fault, but: - Refused to reimburse the tow - Claimed (without proof that I asked for) that this type of failure is "common." My own research finds that it's not common at all. - Gave conflicting explanations (first blaming "snow" for possibly bending parts, then admitting nothing was bent) - Dismissed the seriousness of the brake failure and treated me rudely when I calmly asked for accountability. His words were "I guess we'll both have to eat sh** on this one," and when I picked up the truck and asked about the tow reimbursement he was very rude and just said "nope, we're done!" This wasn't normal wear and tear. Brake hoses should never make contact with tires and should last many years. It was their original work that caused a safety-critical failure, and they refused to make it right. I've filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Idaho Consumer Protection Division. I urge others not to risk your vehicle or your family's safety by trusting this shop with brake or critical systems.

During the negotiation process, the first thing I noticed was a "Accessory" charge for $1,500 for ceramic coating the interior/exterior and window tinting on the car I was buying, claiming it was already done. I've never encountered a dealership trying to make the customer pay for work done prior to the sale. After going back and forth and I was about to walk away, they begrudgingly removed the charge. Later, during financing, they tried selling me the same ceramic and window tint package that they had originally claimed was already done. After much back-and-forth, it became clear the work hadn't been done, and I began to feel like I was being misled. Before leaving, I asked the salesman, Kevin, if I misunderstood, and he confirmed that he was told the work was already completed. I tried addressing this issue with Kevin, who barely responded to my texts. After a week of no progress, I finally spoke with Alex, the general manager. He essentially accused me of wanting something for free, even though I explained that I agreed on the car's price because I was told the work had already been done and even came with a 5-year warranty. The owner, Yama(who I personally reached out to)was no better--he dismissed the situation by condescendingly explaining to me that when you buy something, you receive the product. Neither Alex nor the owner would acknowledge that I was lied to about the work that was done to the car. To this day I have not received an apology or even an acknowledgment of what happened. In the end, I paid $500 to have the ceramic coating and window tinting done. I waited over a month, and despite calling almost daily to schedule an appointment I was unsuccessful. I was even told to bring my car in and when I showed up nobody had any idea of me showing up. Finally, after talking to another salesman he was able to make the appointment. This dealership is unprofessional, dishonest, and provides horrible customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone. Avoid this place at all costs!
