The rice was cooked to perfection, while the chicken was flavorful but a bit too crunchy for me. Grilled chicken may have been a better choice. My wife enjoyed the chili dog and pasta salad. She found the pasta salad to be quite good, but she admitted that she's had better chili dogs. Considering we're from Cincinnati, where chili dogs are a staple, we're biased. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, but it became quite noisy during the lunch hour. The service was exceptional. Multiple waitresses were attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and that our dining experience was enjoyable. The bill was paid smoothly at the counter, making the overall dining experience hassle-free. Based on the outstanding service, I would rate this restaurant four stars. However, I must admit that the food didn't quite meet our expectations for the price.

The menu had good options and we choose the chili cheeseburger served with AMERICAN CHEESE, HOMEMADE CHILI, LETTUCE & TOMATO, ON BRIOCHE BUN. Within a side of chili cheese tots. My wife tried the cowboy burger served with PROVOLONE CHEESE, HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE, ONION STRAWS, SERVED ON BRIOCHE BUN. with a slide hand cut fries. All was cooked nicely and tasted good. We tried their order churro shake made with cookies and cream ice cream order churro and all the fixings along with a big chocolate chip M&M cookie sandwich stuffed with ice cream goodness desserts were amazing. The service was better some staff members were very friendly with smilles, but note to business owner Leon; Your staff should always greet the customers when there enter your businees which is very important for acknowledgement . We will be back for another try to see if our review was acknowledged. The food was worth the visi with big portions and you will leave with a doggie bag. Save room for the dessert menu.

10-26-24 2pm Saturday…read more We came here after looking for an ice cream shop in the area. We needed to get the taste out of our mouths of the worst lunch ever. That bad experience lead us to the best ice cream shop I have been to in South Carolina since we moved here six months ago. Yelp lead us to this shopping center. After we parked and went inside I was totally won over by the fact they make small batch ice cream. Limited flavors and smaller containers in the freezer glass case. In fact the containers were closed. Good keep it fresher for the guests that are buying it. I chose a small pistachio cup that was the perfect size. Hubby got a medium coffee chip ice cream. So once I finished mine I made my way over to his. OMG the intense flavor was amazing. Definitely will be back again many times in the near future. The service was terrific and we tipped accordingly. The shop was cute plenty of seating for lots of people. Prices were in line for the quality of he products that are served.

There were other people there, and the indoor setting was a nice place to sit. While the menu board promised many non-dairy desserts, those were completely wiped out on my visit, leaving only traditional ice cream, which was okay for me but not for everyone, and makes me wonder what's going on there. The ice cream I ordered was an Andes Mint flavor that tingled on the tongue and a sea salt caramel flavor (sea salt seemed like an apt selection given the surrounding salt marshes) that delivered a fully engaging contrast in tastes. The price was not bad either considering. I certainly didn't mind stopping here for ice cream, though no one is casually walking in here from the historic part of Beaufort.

Hi Everyone, So one…read moreof your very good friends was driving down to a Gymnastics meet in Tampa, FL with their Granddaughter. They call on the way down to tell you they were passing your exit, and were thinking of you both but can't stop, or stay, either way because they have to be back home by Sunday (bored dogs, diner, etc...). And although you were thinking of them when you text them a hotel suggestion (Name, address, telephone number, and price) in Tampa after speaking with them, which you have stayed at before (clean, breakfast included, reasonably priced, near their location) they instead decided, after their meet, to play the hotel exit game for hours. What is the hotel exit game? I'm glad you asked. That is when you stop at each exit and get out of the car at each hotel, at that exit to see if they have a room. They say "No, you should have booked ahead", and you move to the next exit, and get to play the game. over and over again. Saturday night fun, eh?. Finally exhausted, they get a room at about 3:30 AM. Yea, restful for all after a Gymnastics meet, right? On their way driving back home, you receive another call from them asking "Hey, we can hardly keep our eyes open. Can we take a nap at your house so we don't fall asleep driving home and drive off the Interstate?" Ah..? Sure, lol. That's right, we are the victims of our first drive by napping. Truth is stranger than fiction. Sure enough, they came, they napped, they left. So what to do to recover from your first drive by napping? Go to Jack Frost right beside the Okatie Ale House for some creamy, delectable, and oh so smooth homemade Ice Cream to recenter your World after a surreal first time event! What? You handle your recentering your way, and we will do it our way. However, the main reason is because their Ice Cream tastes so good, so good, so good! Hey how did Neil Diamond get in here? But I digress. On the right side of the indoor Jack Frost Ice store are their fresh homemade Creamery Ice Creams from Michigan. Why Michigan? I guess the milk is better? I mean, it's right beside Wisconsin, don't cha know! On the left side, the ice cream cases selection are all the all South Carolina homemade ice creams. Don't worry, I am sure they imported all the cows from Michigan. Here is the bottom line, Ice Cream Fans. Their ice cream is so good you cannot run, lifts weights or excerise enough to work off these exquisite ice cream flavors. It is that rich, pleasing, and a grand taste experience! So what must you do? Enjoy

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
