It's a food truck stand with a few picnic tables in front and a full bathroom to the side. When I arrived around 10pm, besides the group leaving, my party was the only one there. There's also another food truck serving Mexican food in that same area. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was so gooood! The meat had so much flavor and wasn't chewy. There isn't any rice in the burrito which I'm not used to, but given the plentiful meat portions, I was still very full. The salsa in the container was also delicious, even asked for extra. It's spicy though (gave me acid reflux haha). Highly recommend going to Maria's if you're craving Mexican food!! There are times where I want to drive back three hours just for that burrito again

Same interior, same bar, same TVs, new food options. The chips and salsa were particularly winning, homemade and so fresh and delicious!! The chips were thick and crunchy without being greasy, and the salsa was a verde variety with avocado floaters and lots of big cilantro chunks. Absolutely fabulous! I had the rellenos, which were served dry, strangely. And this is why I said Mexican-New Mexican... no chile sauce?? They were nevertheless quite up to standard. Companions had a burrito each and shared the chicken tacos, which come four to a plate for the reasonable price of $11. They were "legit," apparently. Two soft drinks added to the meal, and our bill was $37 and change after the 15% UNM discount. That's a pretty reasonable ticket for three, these days. It's an order at the counter kinda place, but the server does keep your chips and sodas full. The menu isn't large but includes variety enough. The place is still a secret, so it's not too busy yet. Go on in and make 'em a hit!

The staff member who helped us came across as rude and unwelcoming, answered questions with an attitude, and even rolled her eyes, which made the experience very uncomfortable. The food was also not worth the price. The pancakes did not taste freshly made, and the boba tasted more like a pre-packaged product rather than something freshly prepared. Between the poor customer service, quality of the food, and the prices, I personally would not recommend this place.
