A co-worker friend has regularly come here through the years. They are busy, and we were lucky that there is one more spot on the last week of filing when I called 2 weeks ago. There's a wait, but that's because we arrived late. I called beforehand that we were running late, and they were accommodating and told me to just come and they'll serve us when we get here. The lady who prepared our documents was informative and went through each line, explaining to us what it is. We're some new happy customers. Price is comparable to our usual preparer. read more

I was trying to do my taxes remotely, been trying to do it for 2 months now, they said it will take 7 to business days, over text first then emails, calls, never got it done, I called almost everyday over the past week to try to get it done and everyday they would keep saying "we will get it done today" Horrible service and horrible communication. read more

It's not like they're not professional. I've been going here for years with my family. But after this most recent interaction, I have to knock back their 5-star rating to a 1-star rating. First of all, Dante is great. He always has and probably always will be until he retires. But in my recent trip, his staff were a little rude. I didn't have an appointment and I signed up as a "walk-in" when I arrived. I was willing to wait the many hours it takes to see me because I understood that people with appointments take priority. There were times in previous years when I would walk in as well and not have an issue. I was waiting for about an hour when I got called in to receive service. A few minutes after I sat down in the office with the staff member, the receptionist came in with the sign up sheet to inform the staff member that she had overlooked two people with appointments on the list. Once she realized her mistake, the staff member turned to me, and in a passive aggressive tone, told me: "Next year you should make an appointment so mistakes like this doesn't happen again." In my defense, I told her that she could take care of the people she overlooked ahead of me, and that I was willing to wait longer because I understood that I am "walk-in" client. When she collected my documents, I informed her that I created/printed a spreadsheet of my work related expenses, as I've done in years prior. She wasn't open to reviewing it and told me that she couldn't do anything with it because I was a W-2 employee. I could tell her mood just soured and i took the brunt of it. But was I really at fault for their oversight? Was I responsible to keep track of which parties on the sign in sheets were ahead of me? Which parties have been provided service? Which parties had appointments and which ones were "walk-ins?" When I came to see Dante to finalize my documents he ended up asking for my spreadsheet. His printer wasn't working so he asked the receptionist to print my finalized documents. I could tell by her body language that she was sour with me too. I don't know, man. It was just an awkward feeling and situation to be in. It could've been avoided had she just accepted my offer to let the other two overlooked people ahead me get their tax services. I understand I don't have an appointment. I was willing to wait to avoid any trouble. read more

I had been referred to these people by friends of mine that had used their services... unfortunately my experience with them was a LIVING nightmare. First, I submitted all of my documents as they had requested me to and paid the initial $150.00 for them to submit my documents. 2 weeks went by and I had not received my refund. I called them to ask if all the paperwork had been submitted to which they answered me with "yes." Looking back, they looked like they didn't even want to be bothered as I felt that they went about things pretty lazy. Another 2 weeks went by and I still received nothing. I finally had enough and started emailing them. They were slow to respond so I finally decided to harass them with calls till I got to the bottom of the issue I was met with. Turns out- THEY DID NOT SUBMIT ANY OF MY PAPER WORK. What was even more infuriating was the fact that after I had told them I had not gotten my tax refund and being placed on hold, they get back on the line and say, "Okay! Everything has been submitted!" No apology. No accountability. NOTHING. It's as if they didn't even want to admit that they had allowed this to happen and were going with a false narrative for almost a month. Finally, when I did receive my tax refund, it was less than the amount they had initially told me. I asked them to explain it and again, the same old crap where they try to make you seem like the one who isn't understanding the problem while they fail to apologize and take responsibility for not giving accurate information and failing to do their work to begin with, After the fiasco they had me go through with them, I replied back with my frustration and anger on how they had me dancing in circles with them and how they had basically wasted my time. They never responded. 2 weeks later, I demanded a refund for the services I had paid for and again, no answer from them. This isn't the way you treat your clients. AT ALL. They don't deserve their clients. I'd also noticed that they apparently have a history of ripping people off, giving them misinformation all for people to have the biggest headache with their services. I'm sure, by the looks of it, they have asked others to go and give them a nice review on social media to deflect from the valid arguments people have against them, Take some responsibility for yourselves and improve or stop your services so people can find a place where they know they will be taken care of. As for me, this was the first and last time i EVER use them. read more

Embezzled money. We paid $769 for them to pay our tax to the IRS. Without our knowledge or approval they increased expenses $2,247 to reduce the tax due to $381. Then paid in only $381. Not only did they commit fraud they jeprodized us for tax evasion if we got audited. Further they misspelled our name and filed single when they knew we were married. It goes on and on. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but I went here and I'm a full time student making only 12,000 dollars and paid 1k for school so I should have gotten money back but I had to pay $557 dollars!! They filed my taxes wrong and I'm trying the best I can to bring it to court. Unless you want little no no return save your time and go somewhere else. read more

Filed my taxes in 2015 with them, last March, and paid $294, only to get the run around that the IRS said I owe them $1800. When I asked the company to follow up, they told me to turn in all kinds of paperwork, all of which was useless and was rejected by the IRS. You would think after paying someone that much, you would get the service needed to follow up for tax purposes.... it is now 1/8/19, 10 months later since the inquiries from IRS and they still have not taken care of the paperwork from March 2016 when the tax was filed. Mr. Cajucom & staff are professionals with a no nonsense approach. He is the real deal & is a tax attorney who knows what he is doing. I previously went with a different accountant & noticed a big difference. My other accountant took the whole day to get me a low return & asked too many questions. The staff is polite & goes straight to getting the necessary information. They get right to the point quickly & make sure you get the most of your tax returns with minimal questions. I got my taxes done in less than 30 minutes & the pay for his services is more than fair. I highly recommend this accounting firm if you want someone who can get the job done right. One very important key personnel of this company that goes by the name of Charisse was excellent. She went above and beyond to give us all the much needed service we had been looking for. She's is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Despite of her super hectic schedule, she managed to squeeze us in and with that, we are very grateful. We were referred by a friend who has been with Dante and his company for years. My partner had questions regarding the process (our last tax person was inefficient and only catered to clients who had assets). Dante appeared annoyed and bothered by his questions and would give him brief responses. In the end, Dante told my partner, "Wow, you really think about this stuff, don't you?" Of course we do. It's our money. This was on March 23, 2019. It was already late in April and no tax return. We called and emailed Dante continuously. No response. The day I called and left a message, our documents were suddenly submitted to the IRS. Dante never submitted our forms back in March. I finally got a hold of someone (Michelle) via telephone who said they were backed up that day in March. Another person (Charisse) emailed me saying that they had to submit our papers a second time because the first time was unsuccessful. Their story was not adding up. I believe Dante was annoyed by our questions. He was annoyed that we were not ignorant. So, he filed our papers late. I asked for Dante and Michelle said he was in a meeting. Guess he is still in that meeting (April 22) because he never called me back. read more

I had my taxes prepared at Cajucom & Associates on April 3, 2013. Six (6) weeks later I had not received my refund. I went to a tax service in Las Vegas (where I reside) and logged on to the IRS web site. An inquiry showed that my taxes HAD NOT been submitted - I had to have my taxes re-prepared and submitted. I sent a letter to Cajucom & Associates on May 17, 2013 requesting a refund of my $100 fee since they FAILED to submit my taxes. I mentioned that I wanted the refund by June 30, 2013 - today is July 10, 2013 and I HAVE NOT received any correspondence whatsoever from Cajucom & Associates. I do understand that mistakes happen (such as not submitting the return) but I paid my fee and did not receive the level of service that I went there for and feel entitled to the return of my tax preparation fee. I had also sent a copy of the IRS acceptance which indicates that the tax return was indeed submitted on May 17, 2013. IF a return of my $100 fee is received by me I will update the review to indicate so. read more
