Loved going to this place for produce. So many of us miss it and can't wait until you reopen. You were the best stand around!

We were on our way to Sequoia National Park and stopped by Cairns Corner Produce Store, and wow -- what a pleasant neighborhood gem! They've been around since 1886, and you can feel that long-standing pride and tradition the moment you walk in. Most of their produce is locally grown, which makes everything taste so fresh and flavorful -- except for the mangoes and kiwis, which they source elsewhere. The fruits, jams, vegetables, and snacks are beautifully displayed and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and always willing to help if you're looking for something specific. The store is small and easy to navigate, and clearly run with care. It's the kind of place that makes you feel good about supporting local farmers while getting great quality at the same time. Wish we had this in L.A.! If you're a local or on your way to the National Parks, stop by and grab some fruit and snacks -- you won't regret it!!! read more

HORRIBLE!! I bought some dried apple products and they were rancid! I took them back right away and explained that they were no good so I went to get another package to exchange it. He told me to get it from the top that those would probably be OK. I opened it in front of him because I didn't wanna come back to make sure they were OK and ...they weren't, they were also rancid !! I asked for my money back mind you it was only five dollars and he said no because I had already taken two packages. I said yes but they were rancid both of them. He said it doesn't matter you took two packages and that's all you get. Are you effing kidding me, they need to be shut down their crappy attitudes and terrible products which their fruit always has flies on them doing who knows what to it. I just don't like that place at all will never go back. I would rate -0 if I could read more

Cairns Corner Produce - Don't go to this location - Fruits & Veggies Near Me - Lindsay, California

Pretty somber environment. We stopped here on the way back home from Sequoia National Park for fresh produce and some of the jarred products they carry. No hello, no Hi. Two employees were working and they didn't seem too happy. I think we ruined their day by stopping. We bought jarred olives and some dry goods. Products tasted great. But service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. read more

Terrible service. Samuel was extremely rude and unhelpful. I bought Apple chips and gave them to my daughter and they made her sick. They refused a refund because I opened them. They were rancid !!! DONT GO THERE TERRIBLE SERVICE. Rude employees. read more

Great place to get fruit and local honey. All kinds of speciality snacks, would definitely recommend to stop there.

They have a good selection that's why I gave them one star. It's overpriced and more than anything the customer service is horrendous. The older woman with the glasses looked annoyed, upset, and angry. Not even a hello, thank you or polite smile. I don't expect good customer service but at least a hello would suffice. I was with my husband and baby daughter and she was staring at us while we were shopping, probably assumed we were going to steal. She even followed us out to make sure we weren't going to steal. I don't want to pull the race card because my husbands grandma stopped coming here because they were "sourpusses" and she's white. They only take cash or checks. I don't plan on supporting this business in the future. Don't recommend, don't understand how they could be here for so long and remain in business. read more

We happened upon this cute market on the way to Sequoia and picked up some amazing pistachios, figs, and blood oranges. For a little market, they have a lot of great stuff, and even better prices. Worth the stop! read more

Cairns Corner Produce - Fruits & Veggies Near Me - Lindsay, California

Produce as local as it gets. Many items of what they sell grows literally walking distance from this stand. And even though it's literally in the middle of nowhere, people still find their way to them. We've been to Cairns like 5 times already, and they are always customers there. They sell seasonal fruits and veggies, so it's better to call in advance and check if they have something specific. The only minus is they don't accept credit cards, so make sure you bring some cash. read more

Great produce and unique goods stop. I would have to say their pomegranate juice is really worth the money. Was a fan of only Casa de Fruta pomegranate juice for many years until I tried Cairn's Corner. There's has a more authentic taste to it. The only bad is that they carry a seasonal stock. Would definitely recommend a try for those juice fans. read more

Looking for that Central Valley Farmer's Market experience? Look no further! Great produce, GREAT service, and Local olive oils, dried fruit, jams, jellies, and preserves. Best cherries and mangoes ever! If I lived closer, I'd go more often!!! When I think of Farmer's Markets, it's Cairn's Corner Produce that comes to mind! read more

$17 for a small jar of almond butter? $10 for a bag of pistachios? Ripoff central. You only get to rip me off once

I went there on Friday, July 19, 2020. The produce was horrible. I don't usually write reviews and thought about it for a few days and feel like I need to. The day was hot and NONE of the produce was refrigerator, it was wilted, rotting, puckered and just looked inedible. I was thinking about calling the health department because the food was just SO BAD. I traveled over an hour to go there and was so disappointed at the quality of produce. I can't tell you just how bad the quality of the produce was. I should have taken pictures. read more

Beautiful little stand with well displayed merchandise and plenty of selections. Nothing we purchased was what we expected. 3 bags of "vine ripened" oranges were stringy and not peelable. Must be a juicing variety. Pistachios were so old some had mold on the nut. Roasted pumpkin seeds were also old and tough. Vine ripened slicing tomatoes were tough and little flavor. Olives were marginal. Haven't opened the beet chips yet. Hoping we got one winner in six. Would not recommend. read more

Really cool place to stop by. Make sure to bring cash for they do not accept credit or debit.

I come here every time I go to see My Mom. This place is so cool, they have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, plus an amazing variety of olives..stuffed with garlic, anchovies, almonds, etc. Seriously, Anchovy stuffed olives.....The Best!! read more

How can you not give a 5 stars rating to this hidden gem?! $5 huge bag of oranges, chocolate covered nuts and pretzels, olives, stuffed too, and the list goes on to many other healthy snacks. I wish I lived closer to this place! read more

Always looking for a good local fruit stand on our road trips and found this one. It had some very good locally grown fruits & vegetables. There is an historical marker next to the store about the location that tells the story. I really hope others get a chance to stop here on their way along State Route 65. read more
