(Last visited 1/20/2023.) Working in Hamburg for a couple of weeks and while wandering around the…read moretown I found a place called Peter Pane that looked pretty well put-together so I checked it out! Little did I know it was a chain of restaurants consisting of more than 55 locations around Europe. Lol. Do I even need to leave a review for a place that is that successful? Might as well! Here goes. Atmosphere/Appearance: From the outside you can kinda see the grandness of what there is to behold inside, but once through the doors I was BLOWN AWAY. The ceilings were high, the decor was FABULOUS! Like, I was transported to like, a jungle or something! Big, tall trees, benches, a big bar directly in the middle of the restaurant and such good energy in here! Service: I can't remember who took care of us either time we went, but I can't remember having a problem with service at all. Food: So this place focuses mainly on its diverse burger varieties! They offer smash burgers, chicken burgers, vegetarian burgers, bunless burgers, fries and various salads. On my first visit I tried the Don Dattel which was a 150g burger patty, bacon, date cream, greens, red jalapenos and a smoked white sauce. It was pretty good! Nothing crazy to shout from the Heavens about, but I enjoyed it. I also tried the truffle fries and I LOVED those. I can tell it was a truffle oil that was used because of how pungent the odor was, but I didn't mind. Lol. I honestly don't remember what burger I had on the 2nd visit, so it must not have been memorable. The sweet potato fries were okay as well. Value: It's a burger joint, so your wallet should feel very safe here. In conclusion, this place was cool. If you'd like something safe, check out a Peter Pane near you, but... I always am about supporting a local business just trying to make it.

The chicken with mushroom sauce was delicious although I wish there would have been a little bit more chicken and a little less mushrooms but they was still very good. Pretty cool Smoke free ++ (hard to find in this town)…read moreStraight friendly, yep it is a gay bar, if you had a slight doubt, the terrace full of watchers who want to be seen will confirm :) Customer oriented staff & the drinks seem to be cheaper than in a coffee chain, which is great. Cheers

Beware, this place is not fancy or cozy!…read more But its a nice little beer hangout at the Hamburg central station we have been coming to for years to sit down and have a large one and talk smack. Its only a large square bar in the middle of a food court with about 10 seats so on football night its rather crowded and loud. The staff that has been working there for many years are very nice and we always have a good time at Löwenbräu.

The only downside (missing part) of this place is they had no filter coffee at all, it was completely espresso based. Still I went with a flat white and sat at the window and watched the world go by. There was a good view and the service was friendly. It is styled as most coffee shops are these days. Fairly minimalist in its approach with a less is more attitude to furnishings. They of course have lots of wood finishing , stone finishing , big tables and a fancy (la marazocco) traditional espresso machine. The main thing is the flat white I had tasted great, the service was good and I spent a peaceful and relaxed 15 mins people watching in a nice location.

Food: well-prepared, nicely presented. The fruit with muesli for breakfast is a choice way to start the day; the half-salad/half-soup lunch combo was fantastic the day I had it. Coffee: Does the job! They also have a pretty full range of espresso drinks.

Friendly, Cosy, Delicious…read more This place is our second home. The staff is super positive, quick and always welcoming. You have got a million choicesfrom breakfast, potatoes over chicken in peanut sauce, wraps. pancakes to Giros. There is always something you are longing for. The fresh joices and cocktails take you to the lost summer AND the place even has SOYA milk for all us lactose intollerant people. Oh and the Martini comes in a martini glass.AND comes at a very good price. I bet James B. would come here if he ever had another case in Hamburg My only suggestion would be to come up with a weekly special, which is not on the menu and could surprise regulars like us! And of course as always the toilette review: they are clean, but a touch of comfort could be added. Some vintage style accessoires or something. I gotta say, it is my favorite place in the Schanze don't know what we would do without it.
