Overall enjoyable Birthday Brunch experience at this lively Landstuhl cafe. The atmosphere has an American diner feel and there were way more places to sit than I had expected! We would have liked to make a reservation (see: Birthday) but no one ever answered the phone. Luckily our wait to be seated was only 15-20 minutes. The restaurant was quite busy and there weren't enough of any type of staff to handle the customer load. The staff was nice and quick to let anyone waiting / ordering know that foods and drinks would take 30-45 minutes to be delivered. The food and drinks were excellent. I agree with other write-ups: the pancake stack was tiny but delicious. And the egg / omelet toppings / add-ins are all charged individually so the price can be a little bit ridiculous! read more

After a long flight from Los Angeles, California, USA. We we're ready for breakfast. Fun vibrant atmosphere here at Cafe Sanders. We we're lead to a newly built art deco room for our dining experience. We we're pleasantly greeted by a young lady with a beautiful smile. She made excellent suggestions for breakfast. So we started off with this amazing warm cinnamon roll, which i forgot to take a picture of, lol. It was too good for pics. Omg the flavors of the bread, cream, and cinnamon we're delightful. We ordered a chocolate banana pancake that had to have been stolen from heaven. It's just good. I ordered the Americano breakfast, and the wifey had the BLT sandwich. Slowest service ever! Good food but it took 90 minutes to get our food. The place wasn't even packed.

Stopped by to grab coffee to go and watched the employee make multiple hot drinks (like lattes etc) without cleaning the steam wand in between. The milk was caked on in a thick layer. Not only is this unsanitary, but it's potentially dangerous to people who have milk allergies or are lactose intolerant. Or, what if you have a nut allergy and get a latte and they just steamed almond milk right before? No. So I saw that and decided to instead order an iced drink. I still hadn't ordered at this point and was waiting at the counter to order. I then see the employee go to get ice and then *almost* use the ice scoop but changed her mind and grabbed the ice with her hands. So anyway I left and we won't be going back. read more

This is a cute little cafe, a bit overpriced as when I ordered a omelette they charged for each item in your omelette example mushrooms, onions, bacon bits, tomatoes...and so on. So unless you like a plain omelette it can add up pretty fast. I ordered their pancakes, and it looked like three little pancakes for kids. Not what I was used to eating. I thought they would be bigger and fluffy. We also had a chai tea and orange juice with a carrot cake. For two of us it came out to 52 euros the customer service was fantastic read more

If you're looking for American style brunch in the area this is the place. They make the food to order so be prepared to wait.

The staff were kind which was cool. However, for 2 breakfast plates (1 omelette, 1 Sunny side up eggs with bacon, sausage and potatoes) and an order of mozzarella slices with tomato and arugula....56 minutes after placing the order. 56 MINUTES. That's completely unreasonable. When I finally got my omelette somehow the cook managed to boarder line burn the outside while keeping the inside COLD. Unfortunately the only option to wash my hands in the restroom was with ice cold water. The faucet didn't even have the option to make the water warm or hot I definitely wouldn't come back here for breakfast but at least their pastries look good. read more

Twice a charm, Sanders does not disappoint. Good food, friendly staff and awesome coffee. The Leonardo White is so good, no need to add anything it is perfect, I follow mine with a regular coffee as today was a drowsy one. The omelette with smoked salmon was absolutely delicious, but my fat side screamed for the powdered pancakes to top things off. I am a happy camper. read more

This is my go-to place close to home for a breakfast with friends or my hubby, as an option to just get out of the house for a treat. They have American styled breakfast items which is a nice familiarity (pancakes, bacon/sausage/eggs/potatoes combo). Breakfast for 2 plus a couple mimosas each and a coffee will run you about €40. They also have a nice selection of coffee and espresso drinks. Their bakery counter is lavish and extensive. Makes me drool each time I walk in and pass it by. The servers are friendly and the food comes out pretty fast. I usually arrive shortly after opening and have always gotten a table without a reservation but it does get pretty busy around 9/10am so reservations are preferred. read more

It comes with the pieces of white baguette but I chose a croissant instead. They will charge extra for a replacement. Everything looked so good in their display area. They had a marzipan croissant which I wish I had snagged. Definitely next time. We got a rainbow cupcake for my son. Which surprisingly was not that sugar loaded and tested a lot like cream cheese. Perfect!! This had nothing to do with the restaurant but more with the German people.. a group of the older woman came in and knew two other women already dining. They immediately started taking super loudly. I'm not exaggerating at how loud they were talking and laughing.. they sit down and my baby starts to cry because his bread fell and we didn't have any more.. two of the women stare at him and then kept looking at me in a mean way. Whispering at each other and looking at me. my baby didn't cry that long and nearly as loud as they were talking with the other women.. It almost ruined a really nice breakfast.. just warning other parents with small children.. it's a small cafe and you sit really close to others. Found street parking fairly easy... it's all in the timing. I ordered the Americano and the wife ordered the Norway. Die Frau enjoyed the salmon. I ordered the eggs over easy and they came out over hard...returned them and they were good about re-firing the eggs...but they came back almost the same way. This is an extremely busy place...popular with Americans probably staying in nearby TLA. The service is always professional and the limited menu features several delicious breakfast dishes to include a breakfast burger. They have menus in German and English. I have personally tried the American breakfast and the Italian one and highly recommend both. Today, I am trying the Farmer breakfast. Some of the breakfasts are a bit pricey but you get a very filling plate full of well-cooked delicious food and breads. I always order the Coffee American and it is a little stronger than I normally drink but it does come with two creams and sugars and a cute little chocolate covered coffee bean. Word to the wise here...you are charged for each cup of coffee. I really enjoy this place for breakfast and strongly recommend it; make reservations for faster seating. read more

This place has been in existence since something like 1895. But of course has been modernized over time. Crazy! Excellent breakfast! I had an omelette with mushrooms, cheese and black olives. I hear from my friends that used to live around here that this place is a local favorite for breakfast. I had lunch here recently and it was very good. I really appreciated the extremely fast *******FREE WIFI***** for customers too. (I didn't feel like paying 59.00 for the 50MB international data add on this time on my Iphone so it was cool to find a place with great food where I didn't have to take my Iphone out of airplane mode to go online.) I really lingered here using the wifi while waiting for a friend and they were very friendly about it. I really liked my cowboy sandwich too. The service was very quick and they take dollars and Euros but I don't think they take cards. The bill comes with the total in both currencies on it which is very convenient. I would come here and try the famous breakfasts if I ever make it back here during breakfast time. read more

Visited on 29 March, 2016, Tuesday 8:00. We found parking on the street, so I am not sure if they have their own private lot. It is surprisingly a spacious space. The atmosphere was great and comfortable. Once you walk in, you're greeting with a display case full of assorted goodies. My eyes immediately zoomed into the various desserts that were beautifully displayed. Although, I didn't have the pleasure of any of them. It was not busy when we went, therefore we were seated very quickly without any wait time. The server was efficient and quick. I opted to try the Toskana omelet and just some orange juice. Nothing too special. They also offered some bread and butter, which ended up filling me up. I also had the chance to try their croissant, which was so good. It was so light and flaky and served with some delicious strawberry jam. That is probably the most memorable thing I had. Overall, the menu is simple and reminiscent of an American style breakfast. The prices are reasonable. The service is quick, but I can imagine that it gets quite busy during the weekends. This place gets one star off due to the lack of parking or a private lot, however if there is in fact a lot then please let me know. The omelet is not too bad, but I highly recommend trying the croissant. I will definitely be back to try their mouthwatering desserts on display and maybe a dozen of those croissants. read more

Friendly service and a great selection on the menu. I ate here twice last week and I can't wait to go back. I had no problem getting a table during the week about 10am but probably best to make reservations on the weekends. You can order a'la cart or choose from a variety of platters. There are English menus available. Parallel parking is an advanced maneuver for me so I turn right at the light just past the restaurant. Then turn left in front of the Kreissparkasse bank. There are parking spots on both sides of the park area in front of the bank. Just be sure to use your parking disc. It's a 5 Minute walk to the restaurant from there. read more
