They have Mongolian grill but they cook everything together so the noodles end up getting burnt and the veggies don't get soft which is why the mark down stars. Service is your typical Chinese buffet so all they do is bring you drinks and clear plates. It was busy so ambience was okay. I generally enjoyed everything except my grill incident. So if you're hungry and need a Chinese buffet fix, it's worth a shot.

That said, I might be a little bias since I'm stuck in Germany over a month and roaming through one hotel breakfast buffet after another. Actually the buffet is pretty basic but with regards to the quality decent. - Good choice of cheese - fresh fruit and salad - waffle maker - cold meats, sausages and bacon - scrambled and boiled eggs - "Brötchen" and bread and pretzels are nothing special but plenty Important: Juice is for free but coffee/tea you will pay extra. Since the buffet with under 8€ is on the cheaper side, I don't mind to pay extra. Might be an issue when u are a heavy coffee drinker... Yeah, not feeling it…read more Moloney's is somewhere I drifted away from after never leaving fully satisfied. It seems to have a reputation amongst the people that go there as an institution. As if no other place existed to get drinks, Moloney's it is! This place just doesn't have what I look for in a bar. I'm not a bar snob, hell, I'm not even a big bar goer, I'm just a guy who seems to like a different kind of atmosphere. I suppose this place is just a matter of taste on how you prefer bars. I love pubs, Irish pubs at that because of what they carry. Irish whiskey and dark stouts are what make my life complete. And their drink selection is impressive, but for those who don't love standing in long lines or fighting through tons of people to a speedwell, it just doesn't mean much. And call me old, but I've spent more time on my feet on Moloney's then I have at any other bar in Kaiserslautern. Unless you're ready to get there early, or seriously fight for some table space, it's not worth it. I don't drink to get drunk, and I don't like to get rowdy when I drink. Moloney's caters to both. Like a previous reviewer said, you can actually do shots with the owner and staff. For some people that's a great way to have fun and meet people, I have no problems with that. For me, I see that as a huge red flag for industry unprofessionalism. I think Moloney's knows their target audience, and I'm not that person. I can't hardly fault a place for trying to be something to everyone, because it's obviously doing well. My two-cents? This place is awful.

This place has a good energy and is usually packed to the brim with younger people (mostly whom are Americans). They have an extensive drink selection and their prices are reasonable (but are still in Euros so the tab tends to add up by the end of the night). But be warned, nearly every time we've gone here it is crowded, takes a long time to get a drink, is super rowdy, and someone always ends up getting into a fight/gets kicked out/makes a scene/has base police or polizi called on them. So be prepared for some nonsense and annoyance. Overall, I'd say this place is good for young people in group outings but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a relaxed night out with a date.
