They have a large outdoor beer garden and a small interior with about 4-5 tables. I ordered a flight to sample all of their beers. Came with their helles, a california ale, the frankfurt pale ale, bread beer and saline bitter. The bread beer was delicious and my favorite of the bunch. Light with a nice malty sweetness, the taste has undertones of cinnamon and christmas spices. I liked it so much I took home a growler (9 euro including 3 euro bottle deposit). I would definitely come again! Excited to try seasonal offerings once winter hits.

Since we were such a large group, we ordered ahead and had several great options to choose from -- a smart move that made everything run smoothly. I had the salad with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Others in our group were equally happy with their meals, and the portions were generous all around. The beer was also excellent -- crisp, well-crafted, and a perfect match for the food and the setting. You can tell they take pride in their brewing. What really stood out, though, was the service and atmosphere. Despite the size of our group, the staff was efficient, friendly, and totally on top of things. And the interior? Absolutely gorgeous -- warm, historic, and full of character. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel like you're somewhere special. From the first interaction with the host to the final bite and payment of our tab, everything was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, both in helping since we didn't speak the language, to making fantastic recommendations for beverages and food options. I wanted a traditional Bavarian meal, so I chose the pork knuckle with potatoes and a cabbage salad. It was delicious! Crispy, meaty, and starchy, all paired with a fantastic helles beer! So good. Given the ambiance and level of service, we expected it to be a bit more expensive than some places, but it was worth the slightly higher cost to have such a grand experience!

My son had Wiener schnitzel and a pretzel, and my husband had Weisswurst (veal sausages, I believe?) with soup and a pretzel. It almost feels like an upscale McDonalds. Besides the decor, the rest of the experience at Eichbaum is very good. Service was ok, though a little abrupt. The beer was excellent, as you'd expect from a brewery. I tried a seasonal special, the Apostulator, which was dark and delicious though not with the typical coffee flavor of dark beer. I tried the curry schnitzel which was very good. It was properly doused in yellow curry pepper sauce and the meat was cooked very well. My wife tried the emmentaler cheese and fried onion schnitzel and also liked it, though because the portions are so huge and how rich it was, had a hard time finishing it.
