Good little spot, with a large patio. Came here for a dinner with some friends, and enjoyed the patio and ambiance. For appetizers we got the bruschetta. It was good. For dinner I ordered the kasespaetzel and it was quite yummy. Sitting on the patio was really nice, but it probably caused service to be a little slower than sitting inside would have been. Overall it was a good meal, and if I was looking for a place to have a cocktail with good outdoor vibes, would gladly return here. read more

Have visited here several times over the years. Have always enjoyed the food and views. The restaurant is nestled in right next to the fountain in the Altstadt. Perfect place for people watching. The food menu is diverse as is the price range. I had white asparagus, schnitzel, and potato croquettes and the price was €21, which is a little high. The food is delicious though. The staff is friendly. The food is always amazing and the portions are huge! The prices are very good for the amount of food that they serve you. I really do love St. Martin, as do many other Americans in the area. You will always hear English being spoken if you go there for dinner. The first time we went, they had mussels as a special. They were fat and plump, and I wish they had made a return appearance in February. Yum! Their portions are huge - large enough to split and they are reasonable, though on the more expensive side compared to restaurants in the area (still cheaper than where we frequent back home). My only complaint (and I only have one) is that there are SO many fruit flies. We were attacked while eating both times we were there. It's so bad, that it will be a while before I'm ready to fight them again. We have sat in the same area twice, so my advise is to sit in the section to the right when you walk in the door. read more

The staff here are super friendly. The atmosphere in the evening is very cozy. I ordered a mixed fruity drink and enjoyed every bit of it. If I am in the area I will be stopping by again. I would say this is one of the few places in the area that didn't have a bad vibe at night. read more

Coming into town at an odd time not everything was open for dinner. We actually came in looking for another place that opened at 7pm, but we simply couldn't wait to eat any longer. We decided on St. Martin because of it's reviews and the outdoor seating by a water fountain. Plenty of seating outside and in depending on your preference. A friend and I ordered the Spagetti with Chicken and some sort of garlic sauce and it was very good. The portion size was fair and overall flavor really had my tastebuds flowing. Another friend ordered the steak, he said it was alright, but nothing special. Too others had the table were happy with their meal, but not in AWE. I am keeping this at 4-stars simply for the prices on the menu. I order 3-4 beers, my meal and my bill still remained under 30 euro. I was very impressed with the prices and so was everyone at the table. Stop by here for good food, outdoor seating, and even better prices. read more

I've only been in Germany for a week but this is by far the best food I've had yet! The waitresses are pretty and super nice too. The Salmon is some of the best salmon you will ever eat. It melts in your mouth. The salads are pretty amazing as well because they are big and full of fresh ingredients. What a great surprise! My boyfriend has lived in Kaiserslautern for about 6 months, and he has never been here. We happened to walk by and decided to try, cause there was a couple eating spaghetti carbonara that looked extremely delicious. Apparently it was delicious cause they were all out when we got there. So he ordered lamb steak and I ordered salmon. Their fried potatoes were amazingly delicious. Salmon was buttery and melt in your mouth good, and lamb steak was superb. Housed in the gorgeous Haus Elbert (1812), with a large terrace on this lovely square bedecked in fairy lights and with an excellent kitchen open until two hours before the place shuts, St. Martin's is one of K-Town favoured mellow hang outs.
