The esthetic and decor was very nice and the place offered free wifi that worked great. The coffee was decent for Mexico City, I ordered a cappacino which came too hot and tasted faintly burned. My friend ordered a chemex which he thought was excellent. If you are visiting San Angel and looking for a coffee shop I think this a very good option that is a local business and offer quality coffee.

But with a place like Plaza San Jacinto there's no complaints because it's meant for you to be up & exploring. I had the frozen cappuccino, whip cream, sprinkles & it was seriously so delicious. It was perfect for a hot day. They offered mocha, latte, cafe americano, and much more. I had one of their chocolate chip muffins, which I loved. The lady who attended us was super nice and patient when trying to give me the description of the drinks that were available. I know what coffee spot to come visit when I return!

It was surprisingly empty for a Monday, so we thought it would be a great time to visit. We were seated and placed our order at 1:21 PM. Our drinks didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later, and our food took nearly 50 minutes. The timing was especially frustrating because there were very few people dining at the time. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was actually really good. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the experience. During the wait, none of the staff checked in on us, apologized for the delay, or gave us any updates. Instead, several employees were sitting on their phones while we waited. To make matters worse, another group that was seated after us received their food in about 15 minutes. I'm not someone who usually leaves negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth sharing. I'm hoping this was just an off day because the food has a lot of potential. As it stands, I'm not sure I'd recommend it or return the next time I'm in Mexico City.

After shopping for a couple of hours, there was a line outside and we decided to get in it. We waited for about 45 mins but we were a party of 8 so that was not a surprise. The restaurant is huge. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was really good all things considered. The food, overall I think would be classified as just okay. They had a good selection for drinks but I can say I just chose wrong in ordering a Bloody Mary with tequila instead of vodka. It was not that good. I had what would be considered chicken tacos. They were fine. I think my experience suffered due to being there around brunch time but not having a taste for what I consider a small menu. But the place is gorgeous and if you can order the to go t thing, you'd love it. The eight of us just failed to do so.
