It was good, but I'd say it wasn't crazy strong. My wife got the Miami Vice Negroni and we both thought it was meh. Being as you're in Montmartre, there are plenty of bars to visit. I'd definitely make Dirty Dick a spot to visit if you're doing a crawl.

Drinks were delicious as well and were all named after clubs and stadiums. The music also made the experience that much better. Old school hiphop with immortal technique, tupac, biggie and 50 cent

What a great find!…read more This bar doesn't look like much from the outisde but once you walk in, its super cool and full of character. The bar staff was extremely friendly and educated us on the history of the bar. Both bartenders spoke english and were from United States. It was explained to us that Lulu White was a brothel madam, that was concidered to have more power than the mayor of New Orleans during the late 1800s. Her brothel contained a "Blue Book" that allowed patrons to chose their companion via photos. The Lulu White bar, took this concept and allows you to chose your drink according to the individuals photographed in the "Blue book". We were told the individuals listed in the book change about every 6 months but the Lulu White drinks remains constant. I tried the Lulu White: Altos Anejo Tequila, Plymouth Gin, Genepi, Absentroux, and Cardamon noir. It came in a elegant beautiful glass and It tasted like a dry martini with a licorice flavor from the absinthe. This was definitley a drink you sip on to enjoy. The décor of the bar, resembled historical New Orleans with its dim lighting and elegant décor and half moon booth seating. This was a great surprise, and I recomment anyone to stop by and check it out!

The place was relatively small but very imaginative. It was themed in perfect character of the neighborhood (full of hookers, sex shops, and strip clubs, etc.) complete with a pole, for your friends that get a little lose after a few drinks and as many scarlet color accents to get you in a maudlin mood for the night. We stuck to beers as we really had no intention on stopping to drink at all but we wanted to rest our feet for a few moments and the happy hour sign pulled us in. I should have tried a few cocktails as the bartenders looked like seasoned veterans across the bar concocting drinks like mad scientist. They made many of the ingredients themselves and I just wish I could have tasted some of everything. Needless to say, I'll pop back into this place the next time I'm in the neighborhood, as I do rather enjoy the place.

I would definitely recommend this place for small groups, the atmosphere is relaxing and so is the music. Everything else is great, if you're with friends maybe it's worth to check this place out.

The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is to die for, and they have beers from all over the place (Yes, even Longmont Colorado...). It's just perfection. p.s. The bloke behind the bar exclaims before we even sat down: "I have no idea how to make a cocktail! I'm just guarding the fort! I can pour a beer if thats what you want". "Sure". I notice something about Jack Daniels in the bar and casually mention a Lemmy... "Don't move! The real bar tender is a Motörhead fan!". Peter (I think that's his name, but I was hammered, so could well be Rudolph for all I remember), walks in and takes his place behind the bar. We start exchanging stories of how we met Lemmy back when he was immortal... Aaaaaand... it was all uphill from there on. There was little food available to buy. They gave him their K-Rations, keeping just one to share amongst themselves that evening.
