This is my favorite cafe in Stockholm for many reasons. First, the food is delicious. It's not a big menu, but there is actual real food in this cafe - not just pastries and desserts. And it's GOOD. Secondly, it offers a pretty good value. Gamla Stan is a primo area, and some things are overpriced, but this cafe has decent prices for good food. Third, the service is good and served with a smile. You order at the counter, and they bring it to you. No buzzers or techno-stuff, just friendly are personable service. Last but not least, the atmosphere and space is wonderful. There are many nooks and crannies for private meetings and plenty of space - but it is often hopping. During the Middle Ages, it used to be a convent, and it has this very rustic, historical feel that is absolutely WONDERFUL. read more
