My wife joined me this afternoon, in my continued quest to drink espresso at every highly rated coffee shop in the tri-state area. Have to say, Caffe Ammi is a really cool destination coffee shop. The vibe is impeccable, they are legitimately roasting large amounts of coffee in the "back". Trendy, clean, and bright. Seats are just comfortable enough. The women working behind the counter were both pleasant and professional. The woman who took my order knew her stuff, she was quite comfortable explaining the difference between their regular espresso and their single origin espresso from Guatemala. I went with a double shot of the single origin (of course I did) and added the almond croissant that was recommended both on Yelp and by the worker. My wife had an iced coffee with pumpkin flavor. My espresso came with a complimentary glass of sparkling water, a really classy touch and a nice way to cleanse the palate before having the espresso. Great robust flavor to the espresso, very smooth. Didn't want it to end but with espresso, it ends quickly. The almond croissant was also quite good, nice and fresh. They also sell their variety of coffee and will grind it to the size you want. Would gladly return to Caffe Ammi Roasting! read more

OMG?! This coffee shop has been bookmarked on my Yelp for so long and I finally took a little ride there. Located in this cutesy neighborhood, walking into Caffè Ammi was absolutely a delight. As soon as you walk into this little shop with a few tables, fun beehive black and white floors, the smell of coffee beans and the pretty cool ambiance, my taste buds were pre excited to order! Ordering was super easy, they have a simple menu including espresso based drinks, latte, cappuccino and also regular coffee and matcha. This small batch coffee roasters absolutely has my heart. I was craving an iced latte on a nice and hot day and my eyes perked up when I saw they had syrups like lavender, rose and pistachio. Naturally, I chose the pistachio one! I almost went all out and ordered it with pistachio milk but figured I still wanted more of the coffee flavor. Well, LET ME TELL YOU, this iced pistachio latte with oat milk was everything. First sip has notes of pistachio and when you do a double sip, you instantly start dreaming you're having a coffee and pistachio gelato but sip version. WHAT? Like pistachio affogato but the fully sippable version. It's so nostalgic, so delicious and absolutely incredible. Because the espresso is the highest of qualities you actually taste coffee and not just a glass of milk and overly processed syrups. SO STINKING REFRESHING! Came highly recommended but my matcha was tasteless, I ordered a small matcha with pistachio milk 3 pumps of vanilla, my drink was made before I could finish the words of my order, I noticed immediately it had no flavor so I asked for vanilla in which the barista advised she never put any in? she therefore opened the drink and poured the vanilla in which made no different to the taste, didn't taste matcha or vanilla just iced green colored water , flavorless! cute place but not to my liking . read more

You can dine it but the dine in options wasn't open fully yet. But overall this is the perfect place to relax, order pastries and just get a lot of work done because the surroundings is just beautiful and quiet ! I met a few people the staffs are amazing and super professional. I may reside a bit farther away in Westchester but I will always find a way to support my locals! Great experience. The hospital I work at closed their grab & go this morning so I had no coffee or breakfast. Found this place and decided what the heck, why not? The latte is smooth and the coffee flavor is brilliant. 100 out of 5 stars. Almond croissant is a fine balance between the buttery goodness of a croissant and sweetness -- all while packing an almond punch. There was an almond flavored filling in the middle. Between the two, it was a little under $10. Reasonable considering Sbux and other places charge too much and doesn't have the same quality (I'm a sbux junkie, shh). The ladies working the counter were so nice. I came in and had no idea what I wanted, was just like "please help me get caffeine." The one who rang me up was like okay, np! Want hot or old? Then walked me through the options. She probably thought I was nuts, but I promise I'm not. It's just been a terrible week, I work at a hospital, and my brain had no caffeine for 4 hours at that point. Manager/owner if you're reading this review, please consider giving the two ladies working to your shop a raise. Great customer service. Whenever I'm in town visiting my parents I have to go to caffe Ammi. You know it's a great place when every time is delicious! My husband likes the mocha latte and Americano, and we both really liked their cold brew. I also love that they use Oatly and I enjoyed an oat milk latte, and iced matcha latte with unsweetened almond milk -they add honey which is delish! I'm not sure where there food is from, but we thought the mini banana bread was good and oat currant scone was excellent (and I feel like I'm a harsh scone critic). We first went when only the walk up window was open which made it feel super safe during the Covid shut down, and inside is now open. read more

When it comes to coffee, this Pelham spot has it pretty good- and Westchester coffee lovers can rejoice! Ammi isn't duplicating the coffee scene folks see in the million Westchester Starbucks. Oh heavens no! These guys created a unique café- tucked away in a quasi industrial- but quiet and residential neighborhood. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do find Café Ammi's history interesting. For one the Ammirati family brought a big chunk of Italy to NYC a long time ago. And two- they're not done yet- because the tradition continues in Pelham. Ammi is sleek and modern- decked out with subway tiles, hanging wood shelves and mini white hexagon floor tiles. The guys at Ammi anchored their coffee roaster by their counter. Style is awesome, service is friendly and atmosphere is welcoming. There are about 6 small round tables and for a late Saturday afternoon, people (some by themselves) just sprawled with laptops- with space to spare mind you and definitely no sign of leaving. One of the guys behind the counter was nice and said to me, "see if you can make a friend"- I said,"no thank you not today" and asked for my Matcha Latte to go. But then this guy waiting for his order- also sharing a table with this woman said, 'I'm leaving'. I caved in and said Thank you! But the woman I shared the table with was so into her phone chat, she was leaning too comfortably against the wall like she was in her own living room- leaving was the last thing on her mind. I ate my Vegan Banana Bread and drank my Matcha Latte and bye. But anyhow- I can't tell you the types of coffee these guys carry or the process they use- but it looks like Ammi has a high attention to detail. Such a cute place! I was looking for a coffee place and I was in the area. I found this spot! I'm so glad that I stopped by. I needed a snack, coffee, etc. as I was passing through. They close early (at 5:00 PM) but I made it just in time. I ordered a mocha and a chocolate croissant - and both were scrumptious! I would definitely order these again! The service was friendly and fast. The croissant was fresh and chocolate-y. And, my mocha was hot, flavorful and had a cool design in it. A bit late with my review but I had to make sure the delicious coffee I had was no fluke. Clearly by this review, it was not. My first go round I had my normal summer preference of a cold brew. It was super smooth and not watered down like some places. The gentleman who served me left a bit of room for me to add cream and then topped it up for me. Paired that with their monkey bread and I was in bliss. My second time I got an americano and again I was more than pleased. Sadly they were out of money bread. What a great little find just a block away from where I'm staying on vacation! I was dying for some good coffee and I found it here. It's a small little coffee shop that serves coffee, pastries and roasts their own coffee in house. The actual coffee roaster was inside the shop! I thought that was pretty cool. And they happened to have been roasting while I was there, so I got to see how the machine works. The staff was super cool and friendly to me and my kids, even after I spilled coffee all over the table lol. I was trying to take a picture of myself drinking coffee. Big fail there haha. Adorable little modern styled, family-owned coffee shop where they roast their own beans in house, in small batches to ensure the best quality. I'm a self proclaimed coffee snob, and this place is somewhere I'd be very happy visiting on my morning routine or for picking up fresh bags of various beans. They use a unwise method of roasting with Swiss water. So cool! I stopped in for a perfect chai. It was spiced just right and strong, in the best way. It was made dirty when asked without issue. It was a perfect flavor packed treat on a crisp fall morning! We also enjoyed a perfect huge almond croissant, reminiscent of those you would find at an authentic French boulangerie, as well as THEE most delicious spinach ricotta puff pastry pop-over. It was flaky and buttery, and the most amazing cross between a spanakopita and stuffed croissant. YUM! Drool worthy!! Service was friendly and the open space invites those typing away on laptops as well as enjoying a casual family breakfast. Street parking. I had a caramel latte w oatmilk and doubled back for another today just to be sure it wasn't a fluke. Legit the best latte I've had since the world ended. It's just a walk up window now so I initially passed it and tried to enter the neighboring (and I think related) business on Fifth but the nice woman there pointed me in the right direction. I usually get my caffeine fix later in the day and I haven't seen any pastries but maybe if I head over earlier I'll be able to try those. I the staff was friendly, the caramel syrup added the perfect amount of sweetness, and honestly I think everything they make will be just as delicious. My only issue is that I can't get an even bigger size but it's probably for the best. read more

I have been twice and I've consistently received service with a smile even when i have difficulty deciding what to order. My fiance is a coffee lover and swears that their Americano is amazing. We love this roastery/coffee shop. Been coming here since the fall and while the shop is closed due to COVID, you can still get beans online. They will deliver to you if you are close. They've actually been roasting and selling beans wholesale for a long time now but only recently did they open a café. A really nice addition to Pelham which is need of more businesses like this. The staff is very friendly and the drip coffee was good. If I lived locally, I would go there regularly. As a home brewer, my only quibble is with "The French" coffee beans: they are not French roast but something more like a medium roast. The coffee is smooth (not burnt like Starbucks) and has a bit of a cinnamon (or something?) aftertaste. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays because they roast the coffee in house and use those days for production. They have muffins, almond cookies, breakfast croissants, brioche pastries, and other yummy items. There are a few tables for sitting and enjoying your drink and snack but the place isn't overly large. They also have public wireless if you want to sit and get work done. Enjoy! read more

This is such a find! The cafe has a great vibe, chill and relaxing. They select and roast their own coffee beans so this place is legit. The coffee here is amazing. Espresso amazing. The owner and barista are great and only enhance the vibe of the cafe. I loved the bulletproof coffee, it had me flying. The pour over Kenya blend was fantastic, flavorful with hints of citrus. They also offer classes and tastings. This is a family business and the backstory makes you realize that this is a true passion. In my opinion maybe the best coffee spot in Westchester. read more
