Dulce de Leche latte

New Rochelle finally has another great coffee spot. Amazing coffee, really good matcha, and snacks that go beyond the usual pastries yes, empanadas! The beef one is delicious, and the seasonal specials are always fun. Worth the stop.

This place is amazing. Every time I go it always good; their matcha is delicious. I promise you it does not taste like dirt. They are one of the few places I drink matcha from. Their empanadas are also delicious but they are only available Saturday. The staff is always friendly and very efficient. There is one staff member who is really nice and I forgot her name but she is great her drinks are delicious and her energy is very welcoming. The place is beautiful and the bathroom is always great it even has tampons and pads for women. They also have fresh flowers; and great lighting this is the perfect place to work from or even just go for a change of scenery. They are very family friendly and overall a great place. I make it my business to go and make the trip from Harlem to New Rochelle just for them.

Navigating Westchester to find my dose of hot chocolate isn't tough at all. But sometimes I wonder- will it be chocolate enough? Worth it enough? Or, could the café offer bites and drinks I might enjoy- instead of a solid hot chocolate since I'm not a coffee drinker? The same way coffee lovers gage a coffee shop for their "curated beans", "coffee sources", "drip coffee", etc, I also look for hot chocolate that's bold in taste and not brown sugar water. Located in New Rochelle, Casaroma is situated on Huguenot St. The use of wood flooring, neutral colors inside, creamy walls, a cozy sofa, minimalist white+wood furniture and plants, makes for a great stop to read a book or work on your laptop while enjoying a beverage or a pastry bite. The coffee here is based firmly in The Dominican Republic's coffee culture and one I know well when I lived there. I'm here for the hot chocolate- which also talks in my country. Casaroma is a genuine locals' hangout- with a low-key feel and old-school Dominican boleros playing softly in the background. My hot chocolate in a to-go cup, donned a gorgeous foam art- but the nutmeg used, overtook the entire drink. After finishing my warmed+buttery chocolate croissant, I took my cup and the rest of it was literally history. Service is nice though. I like the vibe here- especially since Casaroma brings something a little more interesting for coffee lovers to the table that massive coffee franchises struggle with.

Casaroma is a cute date spot for couples and friends who want creative takes on coffee and matcha lattes and a selection of board games to enjoy. My partner and I actually came two days in a row. The first day I treated myself to an Iced Cinnamon Agave Latte with oat milk and my partner ordered a sort of lemonade (forgot which one). Both drinks were on the sweeter side but were pleasantly delish when they were eventually slightly watered down with ice. Out of the two, I preferred the Cinnamon Agave. Credit is due to the kind baristas who were happy to give us recommendations. The next day my partner and I came back to try a Coconut Matcha and a Berries and Cream Matcha. Both matcha drinks had the syrup stuck to the bottom and both my partner and I realized on our first sips. After mixing the syrup in, the matcha drinks are both mild and soothing and not as sweet as the coffee or lemonade from the prior day. Not sure if the barista the day prior was heavy handed on the syrup or of the matcha is just not as sweet. But I really liked the matcha combinations. Service was bubbly the second day as well with different baristas. My partner and I decided to sit inside (for day 2) and enjoy the assortment of board games they had and we sipped while playing connect 4, mini jenga, and tic-tac-toe. The space is lit with natural light coming in from the glass storefront panels giving the space a coffee/matcha after brunch vibe. The price of the drinks are more than worth it for the quality of the drinks, great customer service, and free boardgames. If you have nothing to do, grab your friends for a board game day at Casaroma.

What a nice coffee spot. There are lots of interesting coffee options, including seasonal drinks. I found the prices a little steep, but I suppose everything is pricey these days. The space is bright and has cute touches all around. We spent a bit of time with the tic tac toe game. Baked goods are from Balthazar. Yum!

Found this cafe on google maps and decided to check it out because it had great reviews- and it didn't disappoint. I had the Dominican Mocha which was a recommendation from one of the baristas, and it was delicious- the right amount of chocolate and flavor. [the favorites are listed on the wall next to the register to help you with your decision] I decided to have my beverage with half and half rather than oat milk which was recommended so that it had a nice creamy consistency. Service was great- talked with Kevin who walked me through the menu and helped me decide on my drink of choice. Ambiance was very pleasant. They have a variety of games to pick from. I ended up playing tic-tac-toe and Uni while sipping my mocha and it was a blast. Highly recommend this cafe.

This is a cozy code in new Rochelle. They have different types of seating, stools near the window, high tables, regular tables and a couch area. I stayed in the couch area and did some work for about bit and enjoyed my tasty cheesy pastry. My friend got an iced coffee which was good too. The service was good and readily available. As I stayed there I observed any people coming in grabbing their coffee and pastry and heading out. It's a nice addition to the neighborhood. It looks very simple but it's relaxing inside and the Christmas music playing created a vibe. The only thing is there may be a storage issue because there were boxes of supply just around and visually visible, even in the bathroom, kind of takes away from the vibe a little bit other than that it's a good place to focus and enjoy.

Drinks are good but the barista is sooooo slow and not welcome. It's basically self serve for the high prices.

I'm a tea person so I appreciate the non-coffee options like matcha, Dominican hot chocolate (must try).
