Strawberry croissant
Sara G.

Cute caffe with a relaxed feel. Nice place to grab a coffee and chat, or work. Fairly busy but vanilla latte was good and a tasty strawberry croissant. Service was fast and efficient.

Big airy cafe with a variety of seating options from communal tables to booths, counters with stools, smaller tables. Park outside (not in the private lot!). Rotating art on the walls. Expertly made espresso coffee drinks. It is so refreshing to see a properly made 8oz cappuccino. Hallelujah! Good selection of sweet and savory pastries, though everything is jumbled together so good luck if you have allergies. Try to avoid the lunch rush if you don't want to wait.

A quick note to my previous review - this time I tried a hot Chai with oat milk. It was perfect! I noticed the tea bag after finishing the drink. So much better than the concentrate to make at home.

Croissant and cold brew
Ryan W.

$10 for me a caramel cold foam cold brew and an almond croissant. Ample seating inside and out. It's always odd when the barista doesn't acknowledge you for 4 minutes at the counter and they're within 2 foot proximity. They were efficient and kind when it was time to turn their "work face on". Pumpkin chai oat milk latte

Loved this cafe! If you're here for fall the oat milk chai latte with pumpkin syrup was life changing. Cute vibe, pretty busy but staff did amazing :)

Great atmosphere, great desserts.. it was really packed when I went, so it's busy and can be a little loud. The decorations. Was nice and seemed like the pain job was done by artist. They had coffee and other options I would definitely go back to this caffe

Iced Matcha with oatmilk
Paloma Q.

I've been here twice and both times I was beyond satisfied! I've gotten their iced matcha latte with oatmilk - which was Devine! Strong matcha taste, great green color, and thick and creamy! My second visit in October I tried their hot chocolate with oatmilk and a chicken panini. Their hot chocolate was amazing - nice and rich with a strong milk chocolate flavor which paired perfectly with the oatmilk! Their panini was SOOOO GOOD. Everything melted together and the bread was chefs kiss perfection. So nice and crunchy and buttery. Everything has been delicious so far and the inside/ambience is also funky and very aesthetically pleasing. Lots of unique furniture and plants, so really pretty to look at and a cool place to come hang out with friends, plus lots of seating for study sessions! Service was also friendly :)

Macchiato And The Hummus Wrap

A very good place in Urbana to get coffee and some baked goods. Caffe Paradiso is one of the more popular hangouts. It has lots of seating for studying students. Even if you aren't a student there's reason to come. That reason is the coffee and food menu. I had a macchiato the last time here. It's $3.50 to get a pretty big shot. The rest of the coffee options are too many to mention, but there's just a lot though. Dairy free milks are available. Especially good are the seasonal specialties. Check out the sandwich board at the counter. Speaking of sandwiches, they also have these. I got a Hummus Wrap to go. It's $6.50 for a pretty big one. This comes with hummus of course, along with spinach and tomatoes. Among the best of the places around the Illinois campus. I would come here again if around here. The prices are pretty good on most things.

Lemon bar, bagel, banana pudding, caramel frappe, chai, cardamom and honey latte.

Coffee is bland. The hipster baristas are rude. No where to chain up your bike. They close way too early.

The baristas are always exceptionally rude. Cafe Kopi has better coffee and a friendlier vibe.

Cozy coffee shop. Good service. Do wish it was a little larger, certain times hard to find place to sit.

Its got a lot of natural light, plenty of seating and has a really nice ambiance for a quick lunch or coffee date. We stopped by for their delicious foccacia pizza but were informed that they don't serve it after 1:30 pm. We settled on the tuna melt but were disappointed by that; cold tuna salad, greasy soft bread (ie not toasted enough), and a slice of unmelted cheese. It really didn't work. We also ordered a few baked goodies but were disappointed to see a bug flying on the cookies. I'm giving them 3 stars for the overall vibe of the restaurant and past experiences. I'm hoping that today they were just having an off day.

I had never had an authentic Italian beef sandwich before, but after last night, I knew I had had the best in the state, outside of Chicago perhaps. Their menu is straight-forward and harkens back to deli and sandwich shops of old. In fact, I had assumed that Dee-Dee's had been around for decades. My combo sandwich was heavy duty, bursting with beef, juice, and flavor. If you are a more economical eater, unlike myself, then you could certainly get two meals out of it. Customer service was above and beyond. I imagine that I corresponded directly over the phone and counter with one of the Owners when placing and picking up my order. Located in the Cracked restaurant space right on Green Street, they are open three days a week (for now) and accept all major credit cards. We will be back, no question.

Wifey and I decided to come to a brand new place (to us) for our 25th (silver) wedding anniversary…read more While driving up here, Wifey found this place online. We decided, sounds great, so here we are. Coming in, VERY CLEAN, nicely decorated. Love the atmosphere. So we got the fried brussels sprout appetizer with of course, the Gorgonzola crumbles on the side because Wifey doesn't do those! We also got a Mediterranean salad, and a Falafel Burger. Loved our choices! I'll post pictures, and, you know the drill, Wifey will give her opinions! Our server didn't say what his name was, but, a very friendly gentleman. Found out his name is Michael. Quite good brussel sprouts. I'm not usually a big fan. Usually they are just OK. Wifey wanted them so I went along. Surprisingly delicious! The right amount of breading, crisped nicely. Wifey is putting the chipotle aioli on the bun for the Falafel Burger. The pasta salad is great. It's going home for dinner. Take out is a violation of the clause but not this time! The burger was just the perfect taste! Hard to describe. A TINY BIT tangy because of the sauce and just tender veggies! Scrumptious. Wifey's turn: This place is is adorable, happily decorated, and has a warm and classy feel. Hubs mentioned the foods so I will not repeat in depth. The fried Brussels were delightful! I am not a Gorgonzola fan so we made that a side car and I let hubs have the dipping sauce and got me some lemon aioli. I highly recommend this choice! So good. Both the falafel sandwich and the Mediterranean salad were perfectly on point with their Mediterranean taste, vibe and flair. I had to take most of my half of the falafel sammie home for dinner and most of my salad as well. Oh darn! I get to spread the goodness out! I was very pleased with our first visit here. We will be sure to not make it our last. I am happily sated. Yum! This place gets a straight up five stars from me.
