The texture was ooey gooey fudge like with still a slight cakeiness to hold it together, big, high quality chocolate chunks, and not overly sweet. I still dream about that brownie to this day! I just wish they could expand this bakery to the USA because this place would win over the hearts of many! What's even cooler is that they sold their own cookbook with a lot of their recipes inside. Thank you for inventing the perfect brownie, I'll be back again next time I find myself in London.

We tried their brownies, and knew we immediately had to buy some to take home! Perfect in texture, and not annoyingly too sweet, the chocolate chip brownie was a perfect afternoon pick-me-up. The bakery has plenty of seating both outside and in. The smell of fresh bread fills your nose as you enter and there's a warmness to the staff and the people within. I live in the U.S. so finding delivery places in other countries can be difficult. First, from what I have been told by those who received the bakery items I had delivered, everything is very fresh and delicious. Their customer service was the best I've come across in a long time (I had a few questions and corresponded via email a few times). I have used them for two delivers so far and I give them a 10 out of 10! I will be using them often in the future for deliveries in the UK. I highly recommend The Hummingbird Bakery!

As we were walking around Borough Market we saw the line for Bread Ahead and realized it was for the donut stand they had outside along the street. We had to jump on line and drool over the display of sugary goodness. We each tried a different donut and was not disappointed!
