But with a place like Plaza San Jacinto there's no complaints because it's meant for you to be up & exploring. I had the frozen cappuccino, whip cream, sprinkles & it was seriously so delicious. It was perfect for a hot day. They offered mocha, latte, cafe americano, and much more. I had one of their chocolate chip muffins, which I loved. The lady who attended us was super nice and patient when trying to give me the description of the drinks that were available. I know what coffee spot to come visit when I return!

Loved the espresso tonic which came with a citrusy syrup adding a nice tartness to the drink. The ginger beer was also nice and refreshing! Will definitely be back though.

I finally made my way to this place and I am glad I did. I believe he is the only roaster in town, which doesn't mean anything unless his coffee is good. I usually like a little splash of cream but trust me when I say you won't want to do that here. There are only two tables, one that will sit two and another that could sit four. The owner is the only employee and he may be roasting or packaging when you come by. This place isn't in the middle of the tourist area but it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the zocalo. He will make you a cappuccino or espresso if you'd like all from locally sourced (Veracruz, Chiapas, and Oaxaca). I am not sure about pastries but as we were chatting, me in poor Spanglish and him in his native tongue, he reached into his fridge and blessed me with a slice of cake that was so moist, it was perfect. So instead of supporting a chain, go to this place for a great cup. You're welcome.
