Not for the serious caffeine aficionado. The forth time I have attempted to find a passable double ristretto in CDMX. I ordered a petite negro. It looked amazing served in a cut glass with a tiny biscuit on the spoon. It was undrinkable. For those of us who take double ristrettos undrowned in milk, all the shortcomings of the beans are revealed sin leche. Unfortunately. I feel like the large unhappy person in David Lynch's Mullholland Drive. Those of you who know the scene will know. lol. read more

It's been a while since I had some good coffee. Drinking airport coffee and airplane coffee was horrible, but necessary. I was hoping for something close to my hotel and found Cardinal. I read that they roast their own beans and my local shop in LA follows them on IG. I figured it had to be better than what I've been drinking. It was smaller, but plenty of tables. I went on a Monday morning and it wasn't crowded. I got a V60 coffee with natural Mexican beans and a latte with oat milk. They were both very good and reminded me of home. We also picked up an Este (caprese) sandwich and it was good and simple. The people were super nice and the coffee was great. This was what we needed while our bodies adjust to the time change and altitude. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a good cup of coffee in the Condesa/Hipodromo area. read more

It's Coffee. And it's good. You'll get the usual assortment of coffee here. The kicker is, it's roughly the equivalent of going to a cafe in Italy - The coffee is uniformly good, and the ambience is somewhat generic. That's ok though, the point here is that the coffee is exactly that good - when you want a coffee/espresso/whatever, come by, get one, enjoy, and leave. Or, OTOH, hang out. Up to you! read more

Cute coffee bar in Condesa. They have phenomenal service and delicious lattes. My partner and I stopped by for some coffee early in the morning. We ordered two lattes, both of which tasted really good. My only complaint is that I wish they came out hotter! read more

I've only come for the coffee but it's been delicious every time. They have 4 different types of pour overs (i.e. metodos) so I had fun trying all of them, multiple times. The interior space is really fun inside and it's very quiet in the morning. Middle of the day has more free Lancers / laptops, but if you come before 9 or 10 it's easy to get a seat. Best little coffee shop we found while in Mexico City. Thru have chemex, pour over, and whatever else your heart desires. Didn't try the pastries or breakfast but looked pretty tasty. Went here twice during our week here. Sad I didn't bring a bag of coffee back from them. read more

5 stars for the "Matcha Rex" - matcha with "caramelo casero" (house made caramel)! This was delicious & special because the caramel is house made and not too sugary sweet like other places! it comes hot by default, so ask for "frio" I you'd like iced! read more

So first off, I want to say the staff was really friendly. They weren't too cool for school and they made you felt welcomed. They spoke both English and Spanish very well. The prices were modest and the food selection was ok. I had a latte with whole milk and it was delicious. I also tried a "Norte" sandwich and the flavors all mixed well. As for lattes and food, I think this is a great spot to pick up either. BUT, if your a remote worker like me and are looking for spacious tables with comfy seating, this might not cut it for you. I never understood why some coffee shops try to cater to laptop workers, when they simply don't offer enough space to work from. My laptop practically took up the whole table and adding a drink with a plate for food ... well you might as well take up two tables. Having outlets at every table is a nice touch, but space is truly needed. Oh and the cigaret smoke that flows right back into the coffee shop is just isn't cool. People literally stand right in front of the shop and puff away as you breath it all in. Maybe, if they had a better designated smoking area it would work. I've smoked before and I don't mind smoke when your out in the open. But, being forced to inhale it with them while you eat & work kinda sucks. As for the music sound level it was good and you are actually able to take a meeting if you needed too. Overall, I liked the coffee, food, and staff. The location needs work if they are trying to attract remote workers. I'd go back again, but without my laptop. read more

This was the best coffee I had in Mexico City. The milk here tastes a bit odd to me but I went to a few different places in Condesa (including Boicot and Chiquitito, which was full of Australians, gosh we are predictable!) and I'd recommend this one. It's a tiny little hole in the wall and was quiet both times I visited. Hot tip for Aussies, in North America they seem to make their lattes more milky - a cappuccino here would be closer to the latte you're used to in Aus. read more
