Food was good and service was good. The tortilla for the taco was homemade so that was a plus. The taco also had a decent amount of steak and toppings. The chicken tamale Homdurenos was different than the typical Mexican tamales. It was softer with chunks of potato, and filled with chicken and rice. The papusa was probably my favorite! The filling was plentiful and the cheese stretches! Everything tasted homemade and for a few bucks each, it was a good deal. I also had the nance drink, which had a weird after taste. The space was small but very homey. The decor is as lovely. The only down side was that they charged for gratuity without saying anything or have verbiage on the menu that stated so. I don't mind this but for a party of one, that was a bit odd. I didn't know they already charged for gratuity so I added more tips on top. Just be aware of this and skip tipping unless you wanted to add more. read more

We were taste testing the Honduran food and they were all amazing, especially the beef and rice pastelitos, corn tamalitos, and the chicken Honduran tamales. As a person who is here only for work, I have to say this was the only place I wanted to come to get pupusas! They were able to accommodate to my dietary restrictions such as gluten and dairy, and of course can also speak both English and Spanish. The ambience is nice and casual, I personally like to take it to go but while waiting there it was comfortable. Def recommend to any newcomer to try this place out first. This was a hidden gem. Now that I see that it's trending, I guess word got out and I feel obligated to share some honest feedback. There is some a activity on the side walks in the plaza from the laundry mat that I think kind of deterred me at first. The inside can also use a remodel/update. But, this mom and pop spot is well worth your business. It's Latin, it reminds us of home and its fairly priced. Flavors are simple, but well executed. We have had really great service every time. The plate I go to every time is the desayuno con carne, it's nice because its tasty and fits my diet (omit tortillas). The campesino with an arepa with cheese is a go to also. read more

The good: Food was good, plenty to choose from and came out quick. The Bad: Pupusas were not that great, and they automatically charged for tip and they will ask you to tip again on the screen, they don't give you a bill beforehand so make sure to pay attention specially if you want to tip less than 40%. I only found out after I paid and asked for a receipt, felt it was a little sketchy and after reading others complaints about it I feel they know it's an issue they don't want to fix, at first I was going to give them a 4 star but a 2 is more like it. read more

Good variety of Honduran, Mexican Venezuelan styles of food . I ordered the Carne Asada Hondurena. Very fast ! The fried plantains were perfectly fried, kind of crunchy on the outside but not burnt. The rice was kind of more like a pilaf and a lot of flavored.The refried beans were made from scratch definitely not canned. The Carne was seasoned just right, you might want to ask to be cooked rare, because they cook it well done. Being a Sunday there was only one server, but I never felt ignored, she took care of every one, there was three other tables, one with 6 people and the other ones with 4 and 3. Food was delicious and their salsas was deliciously spicy, just the way I like it! Their ceviche is delicious! Service was decent as well. We went on a weekend and it was decently busy but they took our order pretty quickly and food came by pretty fast. It is a no frills place, so if you are looking for fancy(which we were not) this is not the place lol. However, be mindful that they WILL add a tip on top of your bill without telling you! There is no mention of it on the menu, or on the machine when you pay so you will not realize it till the bill is printed out and we ended up tipping over 40%. We warned our other friends that was at dinner with us before they paid and the lady working there overheard and gave us the DIRTIEST look ever lol so clearly they knew what they were doing. That was super off putting. Everything else was great, so this one part was a shame. If you know this going in, then you won't be disappointed lol. I'd never tried Honduran food before, but I'm glad we stopped by this time restaurant. It's super homey. I saw one woman working, not sure if she's the owner/cool/server all in one but at least the server. There's a total of 10 tables so max 40 people in here. Which must be crazy bc the kitchen isn't big. Anyway, it's in a shopping strip with a panaderia which I wanted to stop by but it was freezing outside. It was pretty cold inside but we were beside the window. The menu has pictures & explanations for most items & a lot of it was in Spanish. I was contemplating getting a side item and definitely had to Google translate a few things. The server spoke English/Spanish fluently, like spoke to us in English & switched back & forth with the table beside us flawlessly. There's a breakfast, lunch and then sections like tacos/tortas/etc. I thought lunch had to be ordered at lunch but that wasn't the case. My bf got the carne asada, tasted awesome but meat was kinda tough. I had a cheese pupusa bc I saw so many pics on the internet, I was dying for one & I think it was my favorite thing. It comes with pickled cabbage & an orange sauce I swear you could drink. Super flavorful. I also had a chorizo taco & it had a soft tortilla made out of idk what but I wanted to scarf this thing down. Lastly, I had a carne gordita & it was good but not as good as the other 2. Everything was about Palm sized, slightly bigger maybe but super freaking good. They also give you 2 kinds of house hot sauce & the green is creamy and mild spicy & the orange is almost like a buffalo sauce. The mango juice was also excellent. All our food came out to $23 ish. The food was good, but..... 1) I called in my food order for pickup and was told it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. We arrived exactly 15 minutes later and the lady working the counter said it would be just a minute. 5 minutes later, I asked again about the food and was told it would be just a bit more. 15 minutes later, the food was given to me. It was clear they forgot about my order and when I asked why they told me 15 minutes when they really needed 35 minutes I was told that the Uber eats orders came in and had to be taken care of first. 2) see the attached photo of the front counter. I was literally waiting for my food right from where the picture was taken. Item 1: food on the floor Item 2: dishes on the floor Item 3: dirty dishes from one of the tables Item 4: multiple, soaking wet, dirty/used dish towels Item 5: Uber eats food orders (Also worth mentioning is that there is prepared juice sitting in a big bucket and in a cup in the juice machine) 3) when bringing the 35 minute ticket time to the lady's attention (she's in the picture too) she simply ignored me. No apology much less simply an acknowledgement that I said something. I asked what the owners name was and that got me a super dirty look. I hate that this was my first experience here. I just moved to Roswell too. I'm not asking for much from a restaurant, but I think it's important that it's easy to do business with them and that they make you feel like coming back. read more

Food was decent but Service was Bad! Walked in & I'm the only customer. See one of the workers sitting at another table talking to someone and I'm just waiting at the front counter ready to order. No greeting or asking what I would like, until I had been standing there for about 5 minutes. I considered ringing the little bell at the counter but figured one of the staff was already starring at me. Apparently her conversation was more important. Finally someone came out from the kitchen and that's when the lady at the table asked me if I needed something. At least she finally asked. The menu is a bit jenky. I have no problem with hand written menus but a little more effort could have been put into it. On a good note, the inside was clean and decent with a couple nice mexican art pieces on the wall. Food was not bad but took way too long. I waited over 10 minutes for 2 Carne Asada Tacos and a Pupusa. Again, I was the ONLY Customer in there. When my order finally came, I only got a spoon for the curtido (Mexican pickled cabbage) and nothing else. Not that you need utensils for Tacos but I would argue that you do for Pupusas. They had 2 very thin napkins at the table and that's it. Once I was served they figured it was time for them to eat as well and sat at the table next to me eating they're own lunch with the proper amount of utensils and napkins available to them. Must be nice. The scariest part about this place however, is going to the bathroom! I've never been so scared to use the restroom in all my life! You have to walk down this long, dark hallway (No Lights) and once you get there the restroom is pitch black! It took me about 10 seconds to find the light switch. I was half surprised that the restroom was actually clean! I really wanted to like this place but the service just ruined it. The food was decent and authentic but I've had better with better service and faster wait times. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. read more

I had the desayuno venezolano. It was fantastic. My one complaint were that the beans got bean juice on everything else because they were all in the same to go box but that's literally the only complaint I can come up with. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Arepa was beautifully made. We ordered to go food on the phone and it was ready when we got there. The size large juice was a massive large. read more

I stopped into hear for lunch after attending the Roswell Roots Arts Festival a local hotel. It's quite small but they have an expansive menu and there is indoor seating. I ordered take out. I ordered the Desayuno con Carne which is beef, fried eggs, refried beans, and avocado. I added on rice "Arroz" to complement the refried beans. It was delicious and fulling. I would recommend them. There was about a 15 min wait. The meat was a little tough but everything was otherwise delicious. They very much remind me of other Venezuelan spots I've eaten at before in terms of the taste and presentation of the food. read more

My wife and I happened across this place and grabbed some papusas. We like them so much we came back a few weeks later and tried several of there other dishes. We had some arepas and a pork dish and some tacos. All we're very good. I would highly recommend this place. The service was very good and the lady was very patient as I tried to order in Spanish (I'm trying to learn the language) and even helped with my pronunciation. read more
