Yelp Review 2025 #197:…read more Located in Santos Dumont Airport on the same floor as check-in and ticketing, look to your left and you'll see this Starbucks before heading to security. I grabbed some breakfast before getting on my flight to São Paulo. I already knew what I wanted to get before coming here. I wanted food and drink that are uniquely Brazilian. Pao de Queijo: They're the mini version. You get about 10-12 pieces. They're warm but slightly drier than regular size pao de queijo. Coxinha: About 6 mini pieces with chicken and cream cheese filling. Easier to eat because they're bite-size. Maracuja Frappuccino: Passionfruit in Frappuccino form. It's mildly sweet. I forgot to ask for no whipped cream but oh well. The whipped cream is drizzled with Passionfruit syrup and has passionfruit seeds on top. As in true Starbucks fashion (even in the US), be prepared to have your name pronounced differently. They have free Wi-Fi with pretty good connection.

There was only one large table where you could set up to do some work which you had your food or drink. There is a kind security guard who offered his stool as I was there waiting for my tour guide to arrive. I bought a bottle of water. Starbucks in Brasil has a few different food items such as a classic, pão de queijo and mini coxinhas.

Amazing spot to grab a coffee! Such a great vibe from the staff who wanted us to try it all!…read more 2 espressos (for comparison), the very unusual iced coffee with coconut water, and a flat white later we were properly caffeinated and ready to start our day. Oh and get the cheese balls. They are the best in town!

The baristas are friendly and some speak english fluently, while others have a basic english proficiency - You will be able to communicate if you do not speak Portuguese. The owner who brought this unique cafe to life can often be found there, and the entire staff have a love for high quality coffee. Be aware, the actual location can be a bit hard to find. It is down a corridor/alley that has many small businesses along it which is only for pedestrians/for walking. The cafe consists of a long bar, with a few seats, and the baristas (usually anywhere from 2 - 3) working behind it. Upstairs there are a few small tables that are great for enjoying with a friend or getting a bit of work done. Outside, there are a few tables as well. The drinks are of good quality. One of the baristas told me about how most of Brazil's good quality coffee beans are exported to other countries, so they go through a special coffee bean roaster based out of Sao Paulo(? can't remember exactly) that is known for acquiring high quality beans. They have typical lattes, espresso, and cappuccinos, but also inquire if you are interested in being more adventurous, in some of their more unique drinks (ones created by the cafe). I tried a coconut water with espresso iced drink that was delicious and refreshing. Also they have hibiscus tea which is refreshing on a hot day. They have a number of pastries that are more specific to Brazil, and a small oven in which they warm things fresh. They also have a sourdough toast with butter that an expat recommended (sourdough is not common to Brazil and is an unique offering). Prices are reasonable, with drinks from R$5 - R$10. They do have Wifi. I would recommend this place for the ambiance and the quality of coffee.
