Their coffee is nice, though from a place that makes such a big deal about having good coffee, I found that it was pretty average - nice but nothing to shout about. Their food looks lovely though, and I've tried their halloumi and Aubergine flat-bread today and it was really really delicious (maybe they should start market for sandwich eaters rather than coffee drinkers...just saying) and I'm looking forward to coming back another day to try more from their range, maybe something sweet. The downstairs is big, bright and airy. The food counter is massive and you're spoilt for choice, though they do have more sweet than savoury stuff. Which I guess makes sense. The upstairs is much smaller but not cramped, it has a large sofa and some individual tables and armchairs, as well as some nice local art on the walls. It was a bit too hot though, despite the air con being turned on. But I guess that's an issue they have probably two weeks out of 52 per year. I've been here a few times when visiting my cousin who lives in the area. This one is tucked away and not as busy as the station location, and it has a great relaxed vibe and always very friendly staff! The only small downside is that it doesn't have a huge amount of seating but it's usually not a problem and I really like this location.

The steady stream of local folks in and out tells the tale. Munson's is small and cozy, with only a few seats inside and few out on the pavement in good weather. The staff are very friendly, make some quality sandwiches, have some nice pastries, and even play good music (blues the last time I was in). But most importantly they make awesome organic, fair-trade coffee (I usually stop in the morning, and so get a cappuccino). They're happy to sell their coffee beans, too, ground or unground. Most varieties are fair-trade and organic. If you prefer independent, quality places to grab a cup, this is the spot in Ealing.
