Reserve a table on the outside terrace for the best experience and avail of their bottomless ICED TEA the best I've had so far, it's super refreshing. Crispy Crablets (220 PHP) Order this for a good start. It won't disappoint. Crispy Tawilis (210 PHP) The Tawilis sardines are found only in the Taal Lake. This is a must order when visiting Taalena. Ensaladang Talong (135 PHP) A fresh and healthy dish that you eat in between the rest of their food. I find it as a good palate cleanser. Kare Kare (450 PHP) The sauce was thin and could use some improvement, which I'm sure has improved with our suggestions. Crispy Pata (595 PHP) Decent crisp and meat to bone ratio, and enough flavour to be considered good. It remained crispy despite the wind and cool weather which should consider when dining in Tagaytay in general. Tortang Talong (215 PHP) It's not going to be something you'd remember or even rave about it's just that ordinary with an elevated price. So the food isn't the best in Tagaytay, but don't let that discourage you from experiencing their wonderful ambiance. They have a band that goes around each table playing various melodies from the oldies to the current hits. It's a nice addition to their already outstanding atmosphere. They even a large green space on the lower floor for kids to run around and play.

We decided to have a light dinner here and had their sisig dish which was a pork based stir fry with some peppers, sugars and other condiments that mixes well with the rice and other condiments. This was very tasty and perfect for our dinner menu. We also had their grilled Tanigue which was perfectly cooked, not burnt and not stale, which brought out the taste of the fish. They also served rice to complement these dishes, it was a perfect and complementary carb for us to enjoy what we call a light dinner. For dessert, we had their Halo-Halo, which was made perfectly well and included a cacophony of sweetened beans, sago and many other little combinations which encapsulated a summer cooking food for our palates. So, if you're in Tagaytay, you can't go wrong on Gerry's Grille, they do deliver the best food, in this part of the Philippines!

While not every dish was a standout, the overall quality and service made it worth the visit. We tried the Pancit Canton, Caldereta, Lumpia Shanghai, Chicken Kebabs, and Pork Adobo Fried Rice. The Pancit Canton was excellent--more on the saucy side, which I like better than the drier style. The Pork Adobo Fried Rice was easily one of the best dishes of the night, with tender, well-seasoned pork and perfectly cooked rice. The Chicken Kebabs were another highlight, featuring a wonderful grilled, charred smokiness that really elevated the dish. The Lumpia Shanghai was solid--crispy and well-seasoned--but it wasn't a standout compared to the other dishes. The only minor disappointment was the Caldereta, which had a good sauce and flavor, but they left the bones in the dish, and some of the meat was a bit gristly. I know leaving the bones in is more of a preference issue for me because some people like the bones left in. Despite the minor letdown with the Caldereta, I'd definitely return for the quick service and overall great food. If you're craving Filipino classics in a casual setting, Gerry's at Nuvali is a great choice!

You have to have a lot of trust in your driver when you visit the PH because they can fit their vehicles into some crazy small spaces lol the restaurant is located in a rural area which is what made the little driving adventure all the more fascinating because you have no idea what's around you or where you are anymore but once you arrive it's like you've been transported to a completely different place than the area you just drove through. As soon as we arrived we were led to this beautiful outdoor area to wait on our table. It had a full bar and restrooms but I want to say the outdoor waiting area was my favorite part of the restaurant it was stunning and a perfect place for drinks before dinner. There is a pretty strict dress code so do your research before hand so you have no issues upon arrival. The food is on the pricier side but that's to be expected given the ambiance and the quality of everything they serve. The staff and their service was impeccable. From the moment we parked and walked to the outdoor area we were waited on and served. The staff is very attentive and quick to cater to your every need. We ordered so much I can't remember the name of every dish but everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend Antonio's for special occasions.

The first pick of everyone for a delectable taste option. It was not a disappointment. I may have tried different Asian cuisines at different times but this place has by far serves cuisines that you could try at one visit. There were no regrets on this visit. The following stands out and satisfied my taste pallettes: Vietnamese spring roll Special crispy tawalis Balinese satay prawn Crispy pork belly in hoisin sauce Beef tenderloin roll ....that all the above perfectly matched with Bagoong fried rice. Each has unique delectable flavor, fitting to the restaurant's slogan. Mixed and match Asian fusion cuisne has made the meet up more entertaining and pleasurable. The place is classy, the chandeliers and the table arrangement level up the place into a fine dining restaurant. A good and perfect place for celebration. Don't be intimated, the menu price is very affordable. They have wide selection of beverages too. I had a good dining experience aside I was with good company. We were there at the right moment, they just open up. No trouble with service, with seating and the food presentation. Oh well, the advantage of being early birds paid off. A well recomemnded place.

Nonetheless yesterday we find ourselves heading to Batangas... The other side of the road (headed to Manila/Cavite) looks ridiculous, so time for a foodie stop over! I've passed this place a couple of times going to and from Batangas and the sign has always caught my eye. "East meets West comfort food" I'm thinking a fusion Tex-Mex place perhaps. The place is cozy, and the weather was great, cold! Great for me, otherwise bring a sweater. The service is friendly and people wore smiles, that was also welcoming. On to the food: Pulled pork bruschetta: This was quite good. The salsa was a great touch to the dish, and the bread was crisped just right as well. Honestly, I could have had more. Note: as an appetizer goes, this serves one person, or less (I could have had 2). Chicken noodle soup with chicharones: Thought we should give it a try as it was described as a house special. It tasted like home cooked noodle soup which was great, I'm not a fan of anything that tastes like it comes out of a can or box. However, it's still chicken noodle soup... With chicharon, but I didn't see much of the chicharones, however I may have missed it. It's a filling soup for starters. Pulled pork Sisig: I'm thinking this place has a theme! Lol. Pulled pork now appears twice in this review. The Sisig was good, it was a bit sweet for my taste with the texture reminiscent of adobo or corned beef flakes. Another house special, this fusion Sisig had some good heat to it, not overboard with the spice. Overall, decent if you don't mind the sweetness of the dish. Mashed potatoes: This should just be called 'potatoes' in a cup. Yes, mashed, but completely dry. Maybe a tablespoon or two of milk could have possibly done wonders. I couldn't finish it. They're menu has a long list of things to try, perhaps next time we'll try the others. Stay hungry my friends A la cuisine!
