The coffee was slightly bitter for my taste, but overall it was good and I enjoyed it. I also ordered an almond bear claw. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it contained raisins, and I'm not a fan of raisins, so I probably wouldn't have chosen it had I known. That said, the pastry itself was fresh and tasty, and the raisins were more of a personal preference issue than a problem with the food. My wife ordered an iced chai latte and absolutely loved it. She often finds chai lattes to be watered down, but she said this one was perfectly sweet, full of flavor, and one of the better ones she's had. The cafe itself is cute, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The prices were also surprisingly reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely order from here again.

Later on, we heard they had run out of eggs. Although it is an interesting place, with an eclectic menu, and it's not next door for us, I would not be in a hurry to go back. After forcing us to move, the same server didn't even bring our food to the table, she just told us it was sitting on the counter. When we collected it, we only received the two breakfast sandwiches. The coffee that was included in the combo was completely missing (we didn't realize till after we left). We waited just under 25 minutes for a simple takeout order. The combination of uncommunicated rules, being demeaned and moved like we weren't welcome, the confiscation of the drink, and the incomplete order made the whole interaction feel disrespectful. The atmosphere is nice, but the rude service left such a bad impression... won't be back unfortunately.
