From the moment we walked towards the restaurant the owner said hello and greeted us, the staff were very friendly and helped with menus and the specials of the day. Service is quite fast and the selection of food is wide and the wine list is well thought out, we had several meals and everyone was very impressed with the food, taste and presentation. I has the Duck Raghu and I was impressed with the taste, my partner had a pizza which smelt fantastic from the other end of the table, all the other meals were very good. Each meal came out one at a time, this is a bit different to other places but I feel that this is the case because each meal is made and plated up fresh the moment it leaves the kitchen. There is also a good selection of cakes here and coffee is quite good too, if you are in the area and feel like good Italian I would highly recommend Anthonys.

Always busy, and often with groups, the dinner is good tasting, straight-up italian food. Mid morning and Mid arvos are always busy with friends catching up over a good coffee and often a cake (and the range is great). A bit of a generic big Italian restaurant, VaBene is doing really well here and creates a good atmosphere for very reasonable prices for their guests.

Take away is always ready in the quoted time frame. Va Bene is also a great place to dine and suitable for all ages so is great for family get togethers.

Thanks for asking... They also have less than 10 pizza varieties on the menu which I found to be a bit odd. Most pizza places offer the staples with a few of their own special house designed varieties. yes they have the Severino's special which is actually pretty decent, but the rest of it can be bought at any other pizza place. Thankfully the prices here aren't too bad either. A bit more than the chains, but why would you buy that crap when for a few more dollars you can support a local business and get some quality pie?

Lot's of gourmet and experimental topping choices, like white pizzas with béchamel sauce, cheeseburger pizza or butter chicken. Yup, that's cool! My partner and I are a sucker for a classic pizza though. Anything with olives, anchovies, good quality ham and always adding spinach. So, the "Killer Tomato" it was. It sounds like a travesty of pizza but the prawns are a good size, plump and juicy and the salami somehow works. We also ordered one of their gorgeous Italian salads, which was enormous, loaded with veggies, marinaded feta and olives. None of these baby bowls of limp lettuce, it was honestly one of the best salads I've ever had an a hugely pleasant surprise at only $12. I would happily have just that salad with a loaf of crusty bread to tear chunks from. Leave room for the gelato bar, which is now a major feature of the store. I would recommend a flavour but they are all extremely good and worth the price. This store has a high number of staff and does a ripping trade in takeaway, while few people seem to eat-in. When you do stay the staff are courteous and attentive though. It's not really an ambient place to eat, but I would put up with a lot for that good a salad.

It sits within the Dernancourt shopping centre (essentially just a Coles, video shop, pharmacy and Bakers Delight) and makes good pizzas - which includes rare Gluten Free ones! What I love about this place is that they are friendly. They essentially know our family order and they know we have an entertainment book voucher which they let us keep and re use every time. Thats why we keep coming back!

They didn't have any family size boxes left, so the pizzas were placed in the party size boxes. This pizza place is better for take away than eat in as they only have a couple of tables and pretty simple decor. New owners took over three months ago. As for the pizza, plenty of topping, so much in fact that it was hard to know if there were any anchovies until I could taste them. The ham was a little too processed for my liking. The crust was on the thinner side with a crisp edge. Certainly value for money for a decent feed.
