If you have time and have never been here I would recommend parking and getting out to wander around. The most interesting part is it's right next to Wingo Motorcycles and an old garage. They have some nice vintage motorcylces and helmets on display and the garage part has pinball machines that are free to play on. The seating area down the "alley" next to the garage is also decorated with old automobile and motorcycles. The cafe has a small food menu and some pastries. Italian Soda: Served cold and not as sweet as normal soda. Got the lemonade one for the kids and they loved it. Honey Lavender Coffee and Iced Chai Latte: Both were slightly too sweet for us but had good taste and we liked the colorful straws tghey came with. read more

This shop is located in an old mechanic shop or what seems to be a former mechanic shop. My husband and i always visit for our morning coffee when we're in Sonoma. The service is fast. Great place to grab coffee and pastries in Sonoma. We were visiting and drove by in the afternoon and decided to stop the next morning and grab coffee for our group. It was delicious! We didn't realize it was technically also a drive-thru. Was super impressed that the two person crew did everything so quickly and efficiently with all of the cars and people. We had a 6 person coffee order and as we were waiting, more and more cars came by and everyone came and went in a timely manor. To top it off, they were super nice and patient while I was reading off all of the orders from my phone. Best part was how good all of the coffees were from a plain coffee to a vanilla latte. They also had milk alternatives. We're picky coffee drinkers and everyone enjoyed what they received. We also got some donuts which were yummy. It's worth stopping by and I would absolutely come back on our next trip to Sonoma. read more

I love my glazed twist doughnuts! Also, you can never go wrong with a iced chai tea latte. Their coffees are a bit on the sweeter side, so I add two shots of espresso into it and it's perfect! I got a hot vanilla coconut latte with oatmilk and my husband got an iced coffee. I'm very pleased with my latte! The amount of coconut flavor was perfect! Having it hot was the best decision. It gives it this comforting nuttiness that is just lovely!! We got two bacon breakfast burritos. They look like they were frozen? There's a nutrition info sticker on the outside. Went through the drive through around 8:20ish in the morning on either January 16 or 17th (I forget which morning) and there was only two people working the extremely long busy line of cars. The guy that was working there (I didn't get his name) was literally running and hustling to every car and doing his absolute best to make sure people were taken care of. It was amazing to see his dedication to the costumers and to make sure everyone was getting their orders correctly. The girl that was making the drinks that morning was also working extremely fast for how busy it was there too. I really wanted to shout them out for their incredible service and work ethic. Okay....Cafe Scooteria was truly a little treat. I don't know if it was the punny name or the promise of something more local that drew me in, but I'm glad I checked this cafe out. A very modest walk from Sonoma Plaza, I was happy to explore a bit further from the obvious attractions of the square to find something of quality. And truth be told, I did! True to theme, the cafe is hosted in an open garage concept- vintage scooters and mechanic parts decorating the interior. Locals holding down the high tops inside. The coffee itself is served out of a cart, but don't let the simplicity of the stand fool you. Not only did the very engaging barista greet us with a "we can just about make anything," but the coffee creations we asked for actually boasted equal quality to match their confidence. In a dynamic and almost open-market feel, there is another booth that presents an impressive array of pastries. To make the experience feel even more warming, it doesn't take long while browsing to be attending to by wonderfully kind and helpful workers. After you get your "fuel", there is a lovely alley aside the garage with a variety of seats surrounded by a colorful arrangement of eclectic pieces that really gives off the feel of a Disney-esque junk yard...and I mean that in the best way. There has the worst attitude in the world overly entitled I will often come in with the whole card to get a free cuppa coffee like I did today sheryl looked at the card.
