This Cafe is a realtively new cafe in Hinckley. They have a great menu and if you can't see what you fancy, just ask the staff and they will do their best to make you what you want. The coffee they serve is excellent and they have a good choice of soft drinks, juices etc. The staff are really friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome (unlike some other coffee shops in the town). They have a good take-away menu too and all the food is cooked fresh. Even though all the food is organic, the prices are very good and competitive with other cafes in this area. I really hope that This Cafe is successful - it is really good to see independant businesses opening in the town and I wish them every luck!

But for us consumers, it's yet another place to use a toilet on Castle Street (don't laugh - it used to be a real problem!) and also it's another place to get coffee on a Sunday, which is important now that there are a lot more shops open on Sunday. So it's all good. Costa is my third favourite of coffee chains in the UK (the first two being AMT, which is only in train stations as far as I know, and Cafe Nero). They have made a good job of doing up the place; I had a decaff latte with my Sunday paper there today and it was quite crowded but still quite pleasant.

Bacon done crispy (I prefer juicy), and Olympic breakfast is my breakfast of choice (but strangely comes without fried bread). strange build of meals on menu, never seem to find exactly what I want, and waitresses never seem to want to 'bespoke' your meal. All too frequently, the owner is in the cafe, and seems to glare at customers - most off-putting. Other than that, good meal, get what you pay for.
