This little cafe is set up in such a way that it reminded me instantly of my nan's flat, but in a way that it makes you feel immediately at home. It was very busy and yet it still felt very laid back. We sat down and were faced with a traditional menu, at rediculously low prices - Fanastic I thought. After ordering my Ocean pie and my partners' ham, egg and chips it was no more that 10 mins before our meals were on the table. The food was delicious! Adding a cup of coffee and a hot chocolate to the bill, it still only just cost us £10. I cannot recommend this cafe enough, although small, it is scrupulously clean, instantly welcoming and very good value for money. Perfect for afternoon tea, breakfast or a cheap lunch.

The service was friendly and the prices were great. I shared a pot of tea with my other half. We got two cups each out of it and it was a nice cuppa. For only £1.70 I was really impressed. We only had a drink there but they do have a good menu at good prices. It's only a small place but it was fairly busy. There are a few tables inside and a small seating area out the front. There are no steps to get inside but there isn't a lot of room inside for disabled access. xxxxx UPDATE xxxxx We went here again and had something to eat. The food was really nice with good portions and the staff were very helpful. This place definitely gets my vote for GVfM.

i love out to lunch - its a very very very small sandwich shop in sheep street, that has been thier…read moreyears and years. the store is literally like a rabbit hutch and only one customer can get inside at a time, but its that what attract me to it. their chicken and stuffing stotties are so fantastic, and me and my hubby share one and we are still stuffed at the end they are that big. teh prices are brilliant, and although the store is very small they have ahuge selection of sandwiches, rolls, stotties, snacks, pies, chocolate, cakes etc etc all fresh and all at great prices served from great staff with huge smiles on thier faces.

It serves a full English breakfast and I always look forward to the black pudding. (The FDA considers black pudding poisonous so I can't get it in the States. They're OK with chlorinated chicken if you are ever thinking of visiting.) So this time the food arrived five minutes after I ordered. "Gosh", I said. "That was fast.". The lady who served me said, "I know there'd be orders this morning so I cooked it all earlier and reheated it." That'll be five stars for honesty and two stars for the barely warm and congealed black pudding. Oddly enough, the hard fried eggs were edible.
