Every time I walk through the door at this efficient cafe I am greeted with a hearty and welcoming hello by the staff. So far, the smile that greeting leaves on my face lasts through the last bites of my meal. I frequent the Right Angle Cafe about once a week. They are a welcome alternative to the mostly fast food chain restaurants that make up the majority of our lunchtime options in this area. I usually get the Ruben (substituting cole slaw for the sauerkraut...with no extra charge) or the Egg Salad sandwich. Both are made to order, tasty, filling and $5 or less. I want to try other things, but these two sandwiches keep calling my name. Some of the other sandwiches cost a bit more, like the steak and cheese or club, but are probably worth it. I haven't tried the buffet because usually when I get there in the 1 o'clock hour, it doesn't look too...hot and a lot of the options are gone. Perhaps if I were to go when the buffet starts (around 11:30, I think) I would have a different opinion on the buffet. So, if you want the buffet, go for an early lunch. read more

I have been going to this cafe for over 5yrs. Their food is inexpensive and very good. My favorites are turkey club..steak and cheese with bacon..and the barbeque beef.. The breakfast is outstanding. Found the place on Yelp and with two positive reviews. Very cheap, we got 2 breakfast sandwiches, 1 home fries, 2 coffees, 1 big bottle water, 1 big nectar all for $13. We forgot to ask but they add onions in the home fries free (at IHOP, they charge 80 cents for onions in the home fries). We waited like 5 min. while they made them to order drinking coffee. You can customize your breakfast sandwich in many way, few choices of bread: bagel, muffin, wraps... and meat: ham, bacon, scrapple... and cheese. the option is countless. *easy to miss, if you are coming from west to east heading to Beltway Rt. 50, turn right at the 3rd light (Williams Dr.) after the Prosperity Ave. they seem to do lunch buffet, too. (as if you should have known they were out of stock) . It was busy, yes. But the food was extremely average and the service was terrible. Not sure what all the good reviews are for. The food was awful and the place just felt dirty. I had a Turkey club and the turkey was awful- terribly dry with huge chunks of fat- gross. The fries were over-salted yet still tasteless and to add to an already less than pleasurable lunch experience, the service sucked. My lunch mate had the same exact complaints. Sure, its probably super convenient for the folks working in the business building above - which is maybe why it was busy. But I've no idea why anyone else would want to go. Caters almost all Time Life business mtg's - its a staple in the office. They do a great job though, its not always just your plain joe shmoe sandwiches, wraps and salads. It's a typical order at the counter and sit down place, however, you know when there is a whole crew of construction guys it's probably good food & value. It was! I usually grab a breakfast sandwich or a muffin from here once a week on the way to work. My food is always made quickly which is great since I'm often running late. The place has a large menu but I've only had breakfast sandwiches and blueberry muffins which they used to make in hours, but it seems like they may have switched to store bought recently :-( the ladies at the register are always polite. Went in for a pancake platter and a red velvet muffin. The pancakes were only ok but the scrapple was on point which is the only reason I gave it three stars. I am used to fluffy pancakes and these were a bit flat with no real flavor to them. I think I would go back and try something else because it was packed in there so it cant be that bad. I would tell you about my muffin but they forgot to give it to me. :/ Now their lunch is fantastic but I am not sold on breakfast just yet. read more

Right Angle is a great deli/cafe for the workday lunch. It has a deli menu, a salad bar, and an Asian style buffet. Although I have not had the buffet or salad bar, the food looks fresh and includes a solid selection of choices. As for the deli menu, there are many different sandwiches, subs, and wraps that you can get. They even have a make-your-own option that you can even use in the morning for a breakfast wrap. Personally, I would recommend the Turkey Club sandwich. THe deli meat is fresh (as is the cheese) and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. I was able to get a Turkey Club sandwich combo which comes with fries and a 22 oz soda for $7.50 and ended up taking half the sandwich home. It's located on the ground floor of a large medical office complex so the line is out the door once the clock strikes noon. Most of the clientele are nearby employees coming in to get a take-out lunch. I would recommend hitting it at about 11:30 if possible. There is plenty of space to sit and enjoy. read more

Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday, based on the decent Yelp reviews. This is a cafe, where you order at a counter, then find your own table. DH and I got 2 breakfast combos... I got 2 scrambled eggs (seemed like 3), 3 fluffy pancakes, a sausage patty and coffee; DH got 2 scrambled, a generous portion of home fries, 2 slices of bacon and 2 pieces of sourdough toast plus coffee....for less than $10 total! Everything was made to order and delicious. The Asian workforce in this joint are definitely on top of things; everything is super clean and well-stocked, and they are so friendly and professional. We couldn't help but notice the quality and cleanliness of the buffet they were setting out for lunch, and we joked with one of the workers that maybe we would just hang out and eat lunch there too! Sadly, we were too full, but we agreed that we would definitely return another day. Worth checking out; the place is clean, the food is made to order and you'll have money left in your wallet. My husband and I found this deli from yelp and we are so glad we found it. The only thing we tried were breakfast platters such as French toast and eggs with bacon which also came with hash browns and toast. The portions are huge so go hungry. They were also setting up for lunch buffet which they sell by the pound so we will definitely try that next time. The owner and employees were extremely friendly and they welcomed us since we were new customers. We will definitely try this place again. read more
