I've traveled quite extensively around Greece and this place really does its best to reflect the hospitality you get out there. We always go there for lunch and have a couple of lamb Souvlakis as it really does take you back to Athens! They do a lot of dishes for two to share at some really good prices. I saw a seafood mixed grill float past me that looked really impressive. Great for large parties but do watch out for the Ouzo - it catches up on you after a few!

The rice and grilled tomato complimented it nicely and the sauce had just the right amount of heat! I also partook of the Lebanese Brew beer. That's apparently the name, style and original brewing site. It was light and smooth with a high carbonation that felt good. The restaurant is done up in bright pastels which would feel at home in a mid-century design book. The tables with small padded seats are cute and were completely filled by the time I wrapped up my meal. Service was very good with a high level of attention to detail and helpfulness. I'm glad that I didn't have to rush and decided to walk to the end of the terminal rather than just going for the traditional fish and chips! Arriving early with my plane leaving from Gate B I learned that one was not to proceed to Gate B until the monitors indicated as much. This kept me in Gate A where the nearest (only?) fast food option was Leon, a place that announces itself as having "naturally fast food". The heart of Leon's offerings are chicken-topped rice boxes in a variety of flavors/sauces. Two of us ordered differently and both came away full if wholly unimpressed with the offering. I'd paid extra for kimchi, which my dish absolutely benefited from, but there was still much saucy rice remaining when the kimchi ran out. A punchy red sauce accompanied the other rice box at a smaller up-charge than the kimchi, providing the same, needed, up-punch. If stuck at Heathrow's Gate A there's other food providers but Leon's was the only fast food provider I noticed. I'd not seek it out again anywhere but it was a step above what you'll get on the airplane and in that regards, good enough.
