Definitely make sure you are getting up early to beat the wait. This is one of the most well known places to eat in Hot Springs, for good reason! This breakfast diner has an old time feel and casual atmosphere. Our waiter was such a sweetheart, and she congratulated me on being able to eat the huge pancakes they have to offer. (Even my partner was shocked!) Overall, this is definitely a worthwhile visit if you are in Central Ave. The wait time is easily alleviated by all the cute shops and boutiques around every corner.

It had a lot of mushrooms that tasted like they came straight out of a can, cheese, and only three very small strips of chicken. The chicken tasted like the grilled chicken strips you buy in the freezer aisle and it had no grill marks. I ordered through DoorDash and have yet to visit the establishment. After eating this so-called "crepe", I do not plan to get food from here. Having traveled all over the world, my taste buds are used to authentic delicious foods.

Myself and one of my friends had a nice breakfast here and the service was very good. We had 2 different ladies who brought our food out and kept checking up on us if we needed anything. It is a cute little restaurant in a small shopping plaza , easy to miss driving by if you didn't know it was there. We found it online and it was close to the Airbnb I rented across the lake. I had Pancakes , Scrambled Eggs , Bacon , and Home Fries. My friend had the same except no Pancakes. The Pancakes were light and fluffy with a little powdered sugar and syrup on the side. They tasted pretty good. Scrambled Eggs were cooked perfectly , also light and fluffy. Bacon was a little smoky and good , not too crisp , more chewy like I like it. Our last day we had breakfast downtown at Best Cafe and Bar , which is a historic 1930's Diner attached to a Motel that supposedly Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio stayed at. We were not impressed. I would recommend eating here instead , because Best Cafe and Bar was very bland , very busy , expensive , and just okay customer service. You get more for your money here. We thought Waffle House was better than Best Cafe and it was way cheaper.

We've been to Kollective multiple times before and specifically came back because we loved our…read moredrinks the last time. We drove all the way from Little Rock to Hot Springs to celebrate my birthday, and I wanted to start my day by coming here for coffee. I understand it's busy. The line was long, but we stood in it like everyone else, waited our turn, and were about to spend $51 on coffee and breakfast for our family. Unfortunately, the gentleman taking orders (mustache and piercing in between the eyes) acted as though we were the greatest inconvenience in the world. As we were deciding what everyone wanted and placing our order, he was visibly irritated, sighing and looking like he was holding back an eye roll whenever we spoke to him. I initially wondered if I was reading too much into his demeanor, but as soon as we walked away, both my husband and my 12-year-old independently commented on his attitude and how uncomfortable the interaction was. When even a 12-year-old notices how annoyed an employee seems to be by customers simply ordering, there's a problem. I don't expect someone working a busy counter to be bubbly or put on a performance for me. But basic friendliness--or at minimum, not making customers feel like a burden for ordering--is a pretty reasonable expectation. If someone dislikes interacting with customers that much, having him be the person taking orders seems like an odd choice. Even worse, the coffee I had specifically been looking forward to wasn't nearly as good as it was the last time we visited. This time it tasted noticeably less rich and almost watered down. My husband did enjoy his matcha, but between the quality of my drink, spending $51 on our order, and being made to feel like an inconvenience simply for placing it, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing--especially as the start of my birthday. We came in genuinely excited to return because we'd had such a good experience here before. Unfortunately, we left feeling like we probably won't be back. -I got a raspberry-rose latte (meh) -Husband got an iced matcha latte (Loved it) -Daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich (she said it was fine, not the best) -Banana bread slice and pumpkin bread slice. Those were pretty good
